Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Ostracizing looks everywhere; his visage was safe from no one. Even if everyone didn't know, he felt they could read his eyes, the pain he has caused their village. The turmoil and suffering he had caused, yet he had the audacity to waltz into the hospital for what? A simple check up. Life on the high road was dangerous and tricky. You could never be too sure what the issue you, you either fill that wound with dirt, or let it get infected. Both aren't pretty alternatives, but tis the downside of no village.

He walked fluidly to the reception desk, having remembered the layout from when he bumped into Akane, Yes, hello.... I have an appointment with... Pulling a slip out of his pocket, he reviewed the name, A Shinrya Kitsune? My receptionist said she filed the appointment and I'd be all set to come in today? He shifted his gaze slightly away from hers, it was still difficult to look any of these shinobi in the eyes, whether they knew or not.

He watched as the receptionist went down the list of names, Ah! Kouin, correct? He gave a meek nod, I'll tell her you're here, please have a seat. He gave a nod a bow, Thank you very much. He moved over to the waiting to well... Await his turn. Though this visit was more than just a check up. He had heard rumors that Kitsune was involved with the assassination of the last Raikage; he aimed to find out what part she played, and why she did what she did.... everyone had their reasons. I wonder what her reasons were... As he waiting he twiddled his thumbs and whistled a happy gig.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Hisako received the notification that Kouin had arrived for the scheduled checkup, and she proceeded to the reception to pick him up, and show him to Kitsunes office. ”Greetings Kaze-sama. I will take you to your appointment.” she said, giving a light bow before guiding him to the office where Kitsune would be waiting. Kouin would be able to tell that something was.. off about Hisako, but he wouldn’t quite be able to pinpoint it. Upon reaching the office, Hisako knocked three times before hearing an “ENTER!” coming from within.

And when Kouin entered, he would spot an office with bookshelves on three sides of the room, with the exception of right behind Kitsune, as there was a massive window there. In front of the redhead was a massive hardwood desk, with a bunch of papers strewn across it, a computer terminal sitting in one corner, a little rectangular device sitting in some form of electrical device, maybe a charger of some kind, as well as various circuit boards and other miscellaneous bits and bobs. ”You must be Kaze Kouin-san. Come on in, and take a seat.” Kitsune said in a cheery tone and gestured to one of the two comfy-looking leather chairs in front of her desk.

”So! What can I do you for, Kaze-san?” she asked him, getting right to the point, as she began gathering the papers into an orderly pile, rather than letting them stay strewn all over. ”I mean. I was told it was a check-up, but why would anyone get a chief mednin to perform those? So I’m thinking there’s something more behind it.” she continued as she gazed upon the man, picking up several facts about him right off the bat. Such as the fact that he had long red hairs on his clothes. And they couldn’t be hers, as the two had never met. So by process of elimination, they had to be Akanes. On top of that, she could see his chakra flow, and it was in the same vein of activity as Daisuke’s had been, so she looked up, and voila, Rinnegan eyeballs. The man was a Kinjutsu user. She pondered if he had been registered…

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

His gaze shifted to the.... person? He was pretty sure it was a person that was talking to him, but the chakra flow seemed a little abnormal.... He decided to pay it little mind, After you~ It was perhaps a minute, but then they stood in front of a door made out of pure, natural mahogany... Such a beautiful material mahogany was, also fun to say, Mahogany.

The room was much to his amazement, he too enjoyed being surrounded by knowledge, it helped put him at ease when all else failed. He slid his fingers over the various leather spines of the books as he could feel the age as some were worn or new. She sure likes to read.. He finally turned his attention Akane, but it wasn't Akane, yet he didn't think it was Akane, but it looked exactly Akane. No it definitely wasn't Akane, the voice and pitch were slightly off, and the way the chakra flowed was different also. A Kitsune-san, you know you bear a striking resemblance to a friend of mine? He pulled the leather chair away from the desk as he sat down; the chief med-nin surely didn't waste any time getting to the brass tacks of things.

He could do nothing but grin, They did say you were observant Kitsune-san~ This is something more than a check up, but so help me I need that too, so we mustn't forget that please. His rippled eyes stared out the window, and gazed at the sky, I'm here about what happened.... What happened three years ago.... The room would grow solemn. He knew little of the situation that day, but he knew it had led to a phenomenal medic's demotion, which piqued his interest. I'm not here to cause you more strife.... I've done that for you enough.... I just want to better understand that day.... A depressing sigh escaped his mouth, she would eventually find out; village leadership was funny like that. It was like gossiping in high school all over again, yet their were no high schools and only ninjas. Tough times.

You see... We both committed acts that were treasonous against Kumogakure.... I killed two people who would be under my command right now... Lead another to the ICU, and the Sennin I placed here... Well he wouldn't have died if I didn't put him here. It's for those reasons, our benevolent Kage put me in a position that allow me to redeem myself while being on the tightest leash possible. She would be the first person outside of the library to know exactly what he had done, and now that she knew, he would hope she would be honest with him. I tell you this because I believe in equivalent exchange.... Information for information is always a fair bargain? Wouldn't you agree Kitsu-san?

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Kitsune blinked when Kouin mentioned the resemblance between her and a friend of his. ”Would her name happen to be Akane?” she asked, combining the red hair she had seen on his clothes with what he had just said. ”She’s a relative of mine.” she explained, thus linking things together for Kouin. But then he had to go and re-open old wounds. He just had to go talk about what happened three years ago, when she had been too weak to stand up for, and defend, the Raikage. Kitsune sighed audibly at what he said, but then he began explaining why he wanted to know.

”So you’re the one that caused me additional work.” she said, glaring slightly at him ”I’m the one that had to patch up those two men. I even carried your predecessor to the hospital myself. You really did quite the number on those two.” she continued in a tone that wasn’t exactly all too pleased. ”In any case. Regarding the events of three years ago. I’m taking it that you’ve read the reports of it, as well as the results of the investigation. The reason I did what I did, was simple. At the time, I was weak. Unsuited for fighting. It’s why I’ve been spending most of my spare time after that getting stronger, learning as much as I could.”

She paused and gazed at the man. ”And. On another note. Don’t call me Kitsu-san. You may be the new ANBU sennin, but you’re addressing nobility. Baroness of Raimei no Seika, Duchess of Liancourt-Tsushima. she said in a chilly tone, which was quite ironic when one considered the fact that Kitsune was practically the Mistress of fire.
She then continued, in a more neutral tone of voice: Regardless of this, I hope you’ve got the answer you’ve been seeking. Because I’ve got a question for you now, Kaze-san. Being the new ANBU Sennin, you hold in your hands the power to allow others to obtain training in the ANBU arts. I desire said training. I desire the power to never be put in the same situation as that day. And it’s my firm belief that ANBU training will assist me in this endeavor.”

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

He raised an eyebrow when Kitsune pinpointed exactly who he was referring to, Why yes it is, we have encountered each other once or twice... He wasn't too sure what to make of them, but he enjoyed her company, and he hoped she did too. A relative you say? No wonder the resemblance is uncanny.. He let out a light chuckle. He never knew two people could look so close without being twins, but the genetics must have been very strong in the Shinrya family.

The room grew serious as the matter of the business got at hand, That was indeed my action; the two deaths were sadly miscalculated casualties; but did you notice the lack of civilian death? I took caution to not kill anyone whom couldn't defend themselves. Strike those who oppose you. He listened carefully and intently on the Chief's reasoning; lack of strength, inability to take action when needed the most. Kouin was the polar opposite, he took action with all his strength when that was the most unneeded course. He pulled from his robe a folder, and pulled out the investigation report. He skimmed down the list till he reached a particular name, And what of this Shima Haruka and Ai? They too were part of the investigation, yet I haven't been in the position long enough to pin down their whereabouts for questioning. A grin appeared across his face, a shinobi who wanted nothing but to learn more and get stronger... Those were always his favorites.

He bowed his head apologetically, Ah! So sorry, I've just been enacted into the village, I meant no disrespect Shinrya-san. He became quite curious why someone with such nobility and power wasn't the village head, but there had to be more too it; though it concerned him little. She suddenly threw him another curveball. So the Med Chief wanted to learn shadow arts? That was a interesting request.... His eyes looked to the sky and pondered. The shadow arts are... Different. They aren't the same as the medical arts. You realize this right? His face became stern, he held the foundation of the Anbu arts sacred, but he too sought power, who would he be to deny another the same right? He let out a brief sigh, You'll be directly under me for the skill training. I won't go easy on you? I will work you just as hard as I would a newly recruited Anbu, understood? His mind went back to his first days in the corp, and how hard his instructors pushed him, If these terms are too much, than I can't help you, but if you agree, I'll teach you everything myself, and my branch has to offer.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Kitsune nodded ”I did notice the lack of deaths. You must’ve held back.” she reasoned. ”As for the two Shimas. To my knowledge Ai is still in the mental institution, and Haruka should be imprisoned in the Underprison. Ai was basically a tool for Haruka to put her plan into motion, but he’s still a highly dangerous person despite his apparent mental shutdown. He was the main force in taking down Isaki Hoshikata.” she explained, recalling the events of that day yet again. ”I’d advise caution if you’re intending to speak with them. They’re still classified as highly volatile and dangerous individuals.”

”Of course I realize they’re different. I’ve seen them in action before.” Kitsune said in a no-nonsense tone ”And, I wouldn’t have it any other way. If you were to go easy on me, it’d defeat the entire purpose of the training, now wouldn’t it?” she said with a grin. ”I’m capable of handling many things. I’m fairly sure this would be one of those things as well.” she added and ran a hand through her red hair. ”So… About that check up you needed. Would you prefer a full check up, or just a general one?” she asked him, and shifted to business mode. Kouin was now her patient, and she’d damn well make sure there was nothing wrong with him.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

He took pen from his pocket and began making amendments to the report, he listened as the one known as Ai was just a tool that went berserk, Is it possible that he was just used as a scapegoat in the whole scheme to divert some pressure from the ot- Did you say Hoshikata... His grip tightened on the pen, and his knuckles began to turn white, I knew that man... Albeit not well, but he was the first friendly face I met after the huge exodus from my home, Kirigakure. He let out a brief sigh, he couldn't let anger consume him, not in the hospital of all places. I appreciate the advisement, but I too can be highly volatile as well. He said with a smirk on his face, he was more worried about the unstable mess than the user of the weapon.

He was glad that his terms suited her liking, Well then, since we have an understanding, be at my office one week from this date, and dress in something dark that can breath. Alas, now that his official business was over, it was time to hand the reins over to Kitsune, as it was now time for her expertise, A full check up would do me wonders; years of being away from proper medical facilities tend wear down on the body after a while. He spoke with a serious tone, but ended with a light hearted chuckle, but alas he couldn't help but sigh, Life on the run gets quite tiresome everywhere though... I'm glad I have a place I can call a home now

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

She raised an eyebrow. Did this man just call Hoshikata, the egomaniac with a god complex, friendly?! The heck was wrong with this guy? ”Friendly? We are talking about the same man, right? Ego-maniac? God complex? Volatile temper? Killed a Raikage? THAT Hoshikata?” she asked Kouin, still not entirely sure she bought it. Either way. That was neither here nor there. The man was dead, and Kouin needed his medical examination. Kitsune pushed a button on her desk, and one of the bookcases swung open to reveal a doorway into an examination room. ”I got tired of having to walk out of my office, and into the examination room, so I had this doorway built.” she explained and gestured for Kouin to follow her there.

Once in the examination room, Kitsune gestured for Kouin to sit on the bed. ”Please remove your shirt, so I can examine your lungs.” she said and grabbed the stethoscope, going for one of the easier checks first. Upon finding nothing wrong with his breathing, she took one of those nasty little popsicle-sticks and used it to hold down Kouins tongue while she checked out his throat. ”Hm, hm. Nothing wrong there either.” she mumbled and grabbed a handheld scanner unit, and proceeded to scan his entire body with it ”It appears you’ve got no appendix. Or a gallbladder for that matter. But I don’t see any scars after surgery. How did you lose those them?” she asked and looked at Kouin.

After getting the answer, she asked him to stand up, remove his pants, and bend over. It was time for a bit of gastroenterology, and either Kouin would like it, or he wouldn’t. It didn’t really matter to Kitsune as she was only doing her job, giving the man a full check-up as requested. It was a simple procedure, and found no abnormalities, meaning that Kouin was actually a healthy man, despite getting the crap kicked out of him earlier that very same week. ”Surprisingly enough. Your seem to be in excellent health, Kaze-san.” she said, slightly surprised.

”I just have a few follow up questions now. First off. Your Rinnegan eyes. Did you have them surgically implanted, or did you ‘awaken’ them? Secondly, have you registered your Kinjutsu with the medical branch? If not, you’ll need to fill out this form.” she asked, and handed Kouin the form needed for his registration. ”It’s required by law for Kinjutsus to be registered. This enables the medical branch to better assist the kinjutsu users of the village, providing them the needed assistance to grow with their powers. We do provide a lot of materials for registered Kinjutsu users, including donated corpses, and the like.” Kitsune explained, looking at the man before her. As a Kinjutsu user herself, she never had any need for those things, given how hers didn’t require crude things, such as corpses, to be more effective.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

He shrugged his shoulders; he didn't Hoshikata too well, but he had invited him to join his gang, which was the only interaction he had after the great exodus. The man I met was nothing like that... From the sounds of your thoughts I should count myself lucky... He watched as Kitsune pushed a button, and an entry way to an examination room appeared, Convenient... He followed a distance behind Kitsune.

He untied the fastening to his robe, and let it droop down. He slid his shirt off and was promptly informed about a lack of appendix and gallbladder, I think I bet those away in some shady bet, bad times. He let out a brief chuckle, luckily he can get buy in life just fine without a gallbladder or an appendix, so he counted himself lucky in that regard.

Though his luck would take a sharp turn, Shouldn't you buy me dinner first? Kouin relented, this was precisely what he had requested, so he followed the chief's instructions. He could feel the cold sting of the latex glove, I suppose this is the part where we exchange phone numbers? His grin oozed with sarcasm. After the procedure pulled on all his clothes once more. It came to quite a surprise that he wasn't in worse condition, but was still over all healthy.

The chief had remarked his eyes, Oh, this things? I awakened them naturally; they are a creation of my manifestation. As for the registration, having just been assimilated I'm still grinding out official paperwork. He scanned the form his was given, and filled out the necessary information,

Kinjutsu Registration said:
Name: Kaze Santaru Kouin
Age: 27
Height: 5'11
Weight: 160
Kinjutsu: Rikudo Sennin

He handed the completed form back to the medical chief, I can create path unhindered by social constructs? The thought of freely obtaining addition to his arsenal without having to physically slaying anyone was a huge boon for him; he was unsure where he would obtain an ample supply of corpses, but the medical branch just solved that problem for him.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Kitsune burst out laughing at Kouins comment about buying him dinner before probing his rear with her finger. ”I’m sorry Kaze-san, but you did request a full check-up. That includes a prostate exam. It’s just fine, by the way.” she said with a smile. ”And about the dinner, well. I’m sure we can arrange something, in that direction.” With those words, she slipped a small business card into Kouins hand. It had her phone number on it, so he could reach her for medical emergencies. ”My direct number. Call this, and you’ll reach me directly.”

Then, when he talked about his eyes Kitsune listened. ”Hm. Interesting. I’d like for you to assist me in an experiment or two later on.” she said, looking at the form he handed back to her. It looked to be complete asides from the obvious parts of witnesses and such. Kitsune would make sure that it got filed into the archive via Kahako. While it irked her that she couldn’t just file it herself, she also understood why perfectly well. ”Why yes. We provide many services here for our registered kinjutsu users. We even provide actual kinjutsus to willing recipients after a sennin-interview plus a mental examination. Of course, most people tend to obtain theirs from an outside source that we can’t control, but even they need to be registered. It’s for simple reasons really. We can’t allow powerful weapons to fall into the hands of our enemies, no matter who they might be.”

”As such, we provide services like corpses for Rinnegan wielders and Dark Sages, as well as implant surgeries for the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan. We provide corpses for Chimeras to absorb and incorporate into their own being. Heck, we can even turn them into Human Puppets, Revenants, or even Jinchuurikis. And. While this is still in the testing stages, I’ve developed a way to artificially create Tsukomogamis. So as you can hear. We provide a huge variety of services.” Kitsune finished, now looking at Kouin to see if he had anything else he wanted done during this meeting.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

He released a succinct sigh, she was right. He had made his bed and he would have to sleep in it whether he liked it or not. Though he was mostly kidding, and was more partial to Akane at the current point in time, Kitsune actually willing to arrange dinner plans was shocking to say the least. Though he was almost positive she was just playing along with the joke, but then Kitsune handed him her phone number, Oh, you'll be the first I call, but lets skip the butt stuff.

He leaned back in his chair, and he raised an eyebrow, What sort of experiment? He had to be cautious with what he blindly agreed to. For all he knew she just wanted to do more butt stuff, which wasn't on his daily agenda, and he wasn't about ready to pencil it in either. He nodded in agreement as he listened to Kitsune. having kinjutsu users just running around could cause mass mayhem, but luckily Kumo doesn't seem to criminalize them like everywhere else, and they even go as far to help and aid them, and all they ask is to simply register it. That didn't seem too much to ask, yet he knew people would for go such a simple step. I'm guessing their has been instances with rogue Kinjutsu users that caused this law to be in place?

He thought about it for a moment, he was missing something from his arsenal. Kouin himself could bring plenty to the table, but he needed something else; something that complimented him well. Well... Kouin started slowly, unsure of what he was looking for in another path... He tapped his fingers gently on the desk, I'm looking for something heavily chakra related. Something that does well molding it, but I'm not looking for one with a Bloodline, so if we could eliminate those, I would love to see the remaining selection. He had a strong sense in what he was looking for, but the moment his eyes locked on the body, he knew he would be one hundred percent sure.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Kitsune chuckled, ”Fine, fine. We’ll skip it.” she said and adjusted her position in her chair and leaned forwards. ”Well see, the experiment I had in mind involves the creation of an artificial eyeball, imbued with the abilities of the Rinnegan. If I could construct them right here in the hospital, we could potentially grow Kumogakures forces’ strength exponentially, simply from eliminating the lack of resources, aka the activated Rinnegan eyeballs.” she explained, hoping Kouin wasn’t a hopelessly old-fashioned traditionalist, but a visionary like herself. It’d help the village in the long run, really. No more having to obtain eyes from unsavory sources…

Then, when Kouin asked about issues with rogue Kinjutsu users, Kitsune simply nodded ”We had an incident with one not too long ago. He didn’t even try to hide that he was a Jinchuuriki. Instead he walked around, constantly cloaked in his demonic chakra, literally turning the ground to glass wherever he walked. Of course, then, when he was brought in for questioning, he escaped and tried to forcibly leave the village. That was when I had to put him to death, right by the gates. Lawbreakers aren’t tolerated in this village, and never will be.” she explained with a stern look on her face.

”Something heavily chakra related, hm? I think we’ve got something like that lying around down in the morgue. If I recall correctly, their chakra coils were amongst some of the strongest seen in the recent months. Oh, and from what we discovered during the autopsy, there was no bloodline organs inside it. The body had no damage either, so we filed it away for Kinjutsu usage. Perhaps that’d suit your purposes nicely.” Kitsune reasoned, browsing her tablet for the file of the person.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

He leaned back in his chair while crossing his arms, and listened intently to the experiment she wanted to practice, I a village filled with Rikudo Sennin? We'd outnumber most villages 6:1.... That's simply maddening. He tapped his fingers against his sleeve, and began to truly think amount the raw militant force Kumo would have at their disposal; it would be simply limitless, everyone would have a means to diffuse a certain situation, I can aid in some nonevasive experiments, but otherwise I'm happy to help if I can

The crutch of the law was interesting. Who would be asinine enough to walk around a village cloaked? You'll send off a signal of being insane and eventually killed like a dog... A very similar fate Kouin could experience, but that would only happen in a major fuck up. I suppose stupid is what stupid does, and it simply can't be fixed. Taking a brief sigh, he looked out to the outskirts of the village, the place beyond the gates; if people knew the struggle out there they would never really leave. It's much safer with the protection of a village behind you.

The body Kitsune began to describe seemed to fit his current preference quite suitably, which was not very shocking due to the villages resources. He had decided a while ago that he needed to amplify his powers, and the only way to do that was to add in another path to his conscious link. If you don't mind Shinrya-san, could you please take me to the morgue; if acceptable, I would like to make the body into a path. I believe as me teaching you Anbu Jutsu, so will this path too increase my strength. He would wait patiently for Kitsune's answer, and would follow her to the morgue if she agreed to take him.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Kitsune shook her head. ”Not filled with, no. But this way we’d always have components for the subjects willing to become something more than they were.” she said, pointing out that it was for the future, not the present. ”And don’t worry. The experiments I’ve got in mind are purely chakra related.” she said, hopefully calming Kouins worries about fingers going places. Again. Then, when he asked to be taken down to the morgue, Kitsune nodded. ”Of course. It is one of the services we provide. Follow me.” she said and gestured to the door before walking out of it.

The trip to the morgue was a short trip down two flights of stairs and into the basement. The room was dimly lit and had freezers lining the entirety of one wall, all containing corpses ready for usage by the branch, or branch associates. ”It’s the one right over here.” she said and opened one of the compartments before sliding the roller out, showing Kouin the body she had mentioned. ”And there we go. This is the body I mentioned. Does it meet your expectations?”

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

He nodded simply at the notion of the experiments being purely chakra related, that calmed his tight butthole, even if it was just a little bit. The piece to resistance had finally come afoot. The trip down to the morgue was a simple one, a few flights of stairs, and few sets of doors; a security check, all the required safety precautions so no unauthorized personal got in the morgue and stole any kinjutsu bodies. The room smelled unsurprisingly of death, yet he could feel so much potential life emanating from the room. It was as if each body was calling to him, asking him desperately to pull them from their eternal rest. He couldn't help but frown meagerly; he wished to bring them all, but if he even attempted such a feat, what would be of his conscious mind? It would be spread so thin he would be no better than a puppet, and he shook his head sparingly.
4W7ApvG.png

Kouin watched Kitsune move with a clear direction to a specific compartment, it was one that had a particular resonance with his mind; it was more or less likely the body that was mentioned before. As the compartment opened, Kouin stared at the body with a nonobjective gaze, She is beautiful. Kouin laid his hand across the bodies cold, dead skin. It was a pity something so phenomenal had perished so early. Thankfully Kouin could fix that, maybe not to the point she would've liked, but it was the best he could do. He turned his head slightly towards Kitsune, Not that I expect you would speak, but please be quiet for but a moment.

Kouin created a relatively openish area, open enough to where the Outer Path wouldn't destroy equipment. Kouin sat peacefully on the ground, and with eyes closed. He began weaving slow, methodic hand seals, forming each one carefully and precisely. As the final hand seal was formed, a twister of sage chakra engulfed Kouin's body. In a rushed tone Veni, inquit , externae Semita* The twister of chakra dispersed outward from his body, and began to slowly accumulate into the center of the small clearing.

Kouin slowly opened his eyes, his normal emerald rippled eyes, were now replaced with clear azure orbs. An astral rift tore through the center of clearing, but would cause no damage to the actual tile. Through the rift a stone statue began to rise from the temporal dimension. The statue took the form of blindfolded and shackled, giant humanoid demon. Kouin stared blankly through it; Da mihi fortitudinem** The Outer Paths blindfold dissipated from its face, and reveal a glowing pair and pure azure orbs, sitting firmly in its eye sockets. Kouin could see down into the Outer Paths inner core, it's spirit, which was ultimately connected to his own; it was the supreme consciousness.

p9TVbFM.jpg

In the crevice of his mind, Kouin is locked in mental combat versus the Path.

The consciousness had the appearance of a meager looking boy. His eyes were fierce though; crimson red like a sea of blood. The spirit curled its mouth into a smile, and revealed a full set of sharp fangs. So.... You're the weakling who can call forth the Outer Path? Hmph. The spirit shook its head despairingly.

Kouin looked around him slowly; he could no longer see Kitsune in the area, so that led him to be sure this was in his mind. He stood from his spot on the floor, and approached the spirit cautiously, Weakling? I'm afraid you must have me mistaken for someone who dies easily... As he continued to approach the consciousnesses spirit, he could feel its raw power emanate from it; Is this only a fraction of its power? Kouin relented, he couldn't back down, he had to show it who was the boss.

The spirit curled out an above average length tongue from his mouth, and licked his whole upper and lower lip, and made direct eye contact with the approaching sage, You're wasting you time... My presence will eventually force a weakling like yourself down, and than I'll consume your soul just like everyone else; I can even begin to see your knees wiggle ever so slightly. The spirit kept poking insult after insult at Kouin, never relenting; continuing to attempt to wither his spirit. He let out a short cackle, but you could hear it die in the air much faster than one would imagine.

The azure bead that had taken the place of his rinnegan gave Kouin a certain kind of clarity in the midst of the insults; it was all mind games, and he was sure the Outer Path knew that as well, and he would only do that if he was afraid.. Kouin smiled modestly, and spoke with an icy bite, Fortitudinis, fortitudo mea.*** A deep engraved smile curled onto the once stoic Kouin's face. Kouin threw his hand to the side; and such as a bolt of lightning, a spear shot through the empty grip in Kouin's hand, and materialized his disruption gunblade. He flourished the blade around him, and brought it back to the front, held at a reverse grip, in a whisper Carissimi caelestem, ferro meam.**** The blade ignited into a flurry of crackling lightning, swiftly engulfing the entirety of the blade.

The spirits once cocky and self assured face very soon turned to one of horror. The spirit staggered backwards, as if it truly feared Kouin could end him where he stood. He..... H.... Hey now... I was only kidding man... Relax, okay? He had a meager attempt at appeasing the supposed furious sage, but the look still penetrating his eyes told him he was wrong. He began to rationalize a scenario where he wouldn't die, but the spirit could come up with nothing.

Kouin lunged quickly forward on his main foot, blade held ready in a downward grip. His eyes pierced the beings very soul, though it was the soul, so Kouin couldn't help but chuckle slightly. He could feel the once almost suffocating force continue to dwindle in intensity, as if it were completely gone, Kouin couldn't help but smile like an egotist. He made his final lunge forward, the lunge that would allow a clean decapitation, if he had chosen to. He held the blade several inches from the neck, and whispered with mocking, yet commanding tone, Impleat voluntatem meam. Impotens.***** He watched as the soul crumbled to the ground, and scurried backwards. Kouin let out a brief sigh of relief; he had overcome to suppressing might of the Outer Path, and had enacted his own will against it and won.

Real World

Kouin blinked his eyes rapidly; the azure orbs now humbly replaced by his emerald ripples once more. His eyes moved to the statue of the Outer Path, and smiled humbly, We all must grow some how... Kouin stood from the real world ground he sat, and move closely to the body; he moved the hair out of her face, and whispered, Conscius meus, ut adducant ad te, mei vas novum vitae.****** He pulled out a simple brush infused with his chakra, and drew a set of characters on the topside of her hands, one standing for Kaze, his given name, and the other Narumi, I bestow you a second life, a life with the name Kaze Narumi; you poor despaired body... Rise. The Outer Path situated behind him began to forcefully pull part of Kouin's consciousness from his body, and sent it flowing back into the girls body. As his conscious mind and spirit were being split from his body, Kouin reeled to the grounds, but threw a hand up towards Kitsune if it even dared look like she would intervene, Jus... Just one more moment.... She is almost alive again.... His breathing was staggering, he had no idea the spiritual and physical strain the process would take. Sweat began to slowly drip from his face. His eyes focus solely on the ground, and trying not to faint.

The soft sound of metal banging pierced his ears though; he would motion over to Kitsune and ask for a simple arm up, Sorry, first time doing that... Didn't think it would be so strenuous... If Kitsune decides to just leave Kouin on the ground, he would use a table or something to support himself up. His eyes moved to the compartment; delicate began to move, and flex in and out to get the stiffness out. Long sleek legs moved over the edge of the compartment, a smile of joy appeared across Kouin's face; the once violet eyes now replaced with his emerald rinnegan, and he let out a sigh of content, Welcome to the family, Kaze Narumi.

The split consciousness was awkward at first; movement was clunky, they constantly bumped into each other, were completely uncoordinated; he released a brief sigh of frustration and clenched his fist tightly, No. Stop... Don't get angry, relax. You can do this. Taking in a deep breath, he attempted to not focus solely on his vision, but on the vision around him. Kouin closed his eyes, yet like little tv screens, he could see himself plain as day; he smug looking face, dashing brown hair. Kouin lied down on a near by table, and formed handseals to desync himself momentarily. His eyes closed slowly, and Narumi let out a brief sigh. This sounded like a much easier task than what I had initially planned; the main body is a bit exhausted.

Narumi moved one leg forward and watched herself wobble a bit, Hm... That's no good... Narumi took in a deep breath, and attempted to further jump start the chakra system. It was as if she had a sort of limiter of her system. With her free palm she could feel a sort of normalizing essence radiate from his hand. She placed in gently on her stomach, and she could feel a rejuvenating light wash over her body. Her once dull emerald ripples were now clearly glistening just like Kouin's, he legs felt much stronger and sturdier. She bent her legs out a bit, and loud cracks echoed through the morgue; she focused on the jutsu in the collective mind link, she wanted to visualize one, and manifest it.

She could feel a slight surge of lightning course up her arm, and began to form a ball in the palm of her hand. She focused intently on the ball, and began to mold it into a fine tipped spear, with an added lacerating tip. She looked over the spear, but felt something wasn't quite right; the lightning didn't seem as strong in her hands, has it had in Kouin's hands, was something that dramatically off. She gripped the spear with her other hand, and used the same normalizing pulse to neutralize the lightning; the normality of the chakra in the spear now resonated deeply in Narumi's core, the spear had felt just right now before it slowly dissipated into the air. She let out a deep breath, This is going to take some practice, isn't it? She asked Kitsune rhetorically. After all was said and done between the two, Kouin would make his way from the hospital and begin adjusting to his expanded consciousness.

Re: The Fighter and the Red Head (Sennin Thread)(Req.Kitsune

Kitsune stood well clear of what was about to happen. She hadn’t witnessed a Rinnegan user implanting their consciousness into another body before, so she would observe with her full attention, making mental notes on what was going on from her point of view for later study. When the rift tore through the center of the area, Kitsune raised an eyebrow as if to say “Really? It’s this? Where’s the science? Come on…” before noting Well. At least he didn’t damage the tiles. I’m sure Osu-kun will be glad to hear that. Well, and Kaze-sans accounting department. If one thing was certain, it was that Kitsune would bill the ANBU branch hard if their Sennin broke their equipment.

Sadly for Kitsune, it seemed that most of this was happening within Kouins mind, or the shadow realm or some other ridiculous nonsensical place, meaning that she couldn’t observe the actual happenings, only the flow of chakra which was currently in what appeared to be a deadlock battle. So, figuring she had time on her hands, she whipped out the tablet she carried with her and made an entry into Kouins journal, keeping his papers updated in case he needed treatment at a later time, even if it didn’t seem like he would anytime soon.

As Kouins mind seemed to return to the real world, Kitsune was tapping a melody with her fingers. Four beats, over and over. Tap tap tap tap, tiny pause, tap tap tap tap, tiny pause. Then, she noticed Kouin asking for a hand in getting up, and she jumped right to it. ”I imagine you’re now struggling to learn how to operate multiple bodies at once, and how to cope with all the sensory data you’re receiving. But I’m sure you’ll manage it just nicely once you get the hang of it.” Kitsune said matter-of-factly.

”Now, you need to remember that each body is different, so you’ll need to find out what techniques and such, suits each body best. I’d also like it if you could come in once every other week for a checkup in regards to your mental state and how you’re handling your new body.” she continued then paused ”That didn’t come out right… Anyways. You should get some rest, then a lot of practice. We can schedule dinner later~.” she finished before following him out of the secured area, and towards the public spaces again.
