Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Survivors, Refugees, and people from all over the remnants of the village had gathered at the Throne of Bone cleared area to use the new found exit being held by Kyojin Kuro's giant form and the puppeteers and engineers from all over the village being led by Dr. Daibatsu Toa the Toraono Clan house surgeon and master engineer. With their combined efforts Despite the damage done by Magnetica the passageway to the surface had been secured and all were awaiting the outcome of the battle just above the tunnel exit to determine whether they would truly be free or not. The sacred lake and the crystalline forests had been destroyed much to the chagrin of those whom used those surroundings as a visit to freedom from the underground hell Suna had become.

Toraono Kuro arrived with a small group in tow. Kazuki had left his side along the way to assist whom she could and work on her own puppetry skills which had further allowed her to progress her own way of the ninja.

Kuro was happy to see she had integrated with the other puppeteers so easily as he carried the unconscious Saiga to Daibatsu Toa for safe keeping. "Watch him well Daibatsu Sensei, even though he is bound and gagged he is a soldier and he will stop at nothing to complete his goals." With a wry grin the master puppeteer summoned an Takahashi steel puppet and used its containment function to completely encase Saiga's unconscious form leaving only his head visible so any signs of movement could be easily detected and they could make sure he stayed alive. "I am going to join the battle above although it will weaken me considerably. Keep our people safe Sensei." Daibatsu waved his right arm and five more steel puppets stood at the ready and he turned and winked at Kuro "Consider it done..."<i></i> Kuro began molding his chakra to join the fray as he would further weaken the other sides of himself already fighting but he had no choice this battle had to be brought to a close soon. Kyojin Kuro began to burn out his fantastic bloodline as he maintained his giant form beyond the limit his giant body slowly becoming pure chakra crystal. Kuro nodded to himself as he knew the cost of burning the power from within his bodies meant they would forever change and that power they once had could not be reclaimed. Such was the cost of freedom for those of Sunagakure, the tree of freedom had to be watered by the blood of Sunans whom believed in its existence. Blood would continue to be shed for this dark underground city but soon that too would be a thing of the past.

He was human again in form. His body was badly beaten but he was able to avoid the flames of hell. War is not about who is right, it is about who is left. The tales these shinobi will tell in his wake as future generations revere them for their strength forgetting that they too are strong. He was alive, he knew this place well. He was bound, he could feel his bindings dig into his limbs. Now was not a time of action but rather a time to wait.

It probably took him much too long to get here than it should all things considered. Perhaps the fact he was on his feet almost day in and day out for the past few days, with as much sleep as his worried mind would allow (which was not a lot), while at the same time actively fighting of against quite dangerous circumstances. And the wounds sustained in the previous fight didn’t help him either. As much as he wanted to move out forward, the medics did convince him to stay down for some time at least. He couldn’t lie, as bad as he felt about not being able to help, the break did help him refresh at least somewhat. Though he was pretty sure he could have attributed that to the talents of the medical staff.

Regardless, the message got him when he was still recovering. A call for evacuation, to the Toranao Dojo. Of course, he was a bit suspicious, considering it might be a trap, but as far as he knew the radio signal was restored and In Sunana control. and it seemed most of the people were already mid evacuation, the medics having the difficulty of needing to transport the more seriously wounded in some way. Haru tried to help as best as he could, using his sand to carry out as much supplies as possible, as well as some of the more critical patients, though he needed to be extra careful to not have anything happen to them. After that he kept himself close by the group heading out of the medical Centre, fearing that some of the thugs roaming through the village might try to carry out a final assault. still, he could see other Shinobi flocking around as well to give their aid. Some of them were of his clan, which made for a welcome reunion. He learned his clan was retreating as well, with his parents and the village elders being on the end of the group to make sure everything was fine. Heh, he heard about captains at sea insisting to be the ones to get of their vessel last once they were sinking...he could imagine his father ensuring everyone as safe as possible ,disregarding his own health.

After a while, he reached the destination everyone was flocking to. Many people abound, but few of those he was the most curious about. He did see a somewhat familiar face. Master Daibatsu of the Toraono, one of the many famous figures of the clan. Making his way to him quickly, casting a curious glance at the might puppet sentry standing but him, he gave him a respectful bow as he said "Daibatsu-sensei, it’s good to see you well. Pardon my interruption, but I have been...incapacitated for some time. Do you know about what is going on? I'm assuming the message of evacuation was not a trick with you being here, but what of Kuro-san? And what opened the exit in the first place?"

OOC: My apologies Harupia on not noticing your post here.

Dr. Daibatsu turned to acknowledge the young master, "It seems The Cabal had outwitted us all, this was originally an emergency exit that had been destroyed by Djinn during his rampage. The workers that were supposed to reconstruct it had been subverted by The Cabal, this was not only their escape plan but their main way in besides infiltrating with the refugees and working on the inside with select prisoners. We have been played and played well. Kuro sama and his bunshin are currently engaged in maintaining the tunnel and fighting. I think he has strained himself beyond his means this time. I noted that he was burning his blood for power to fuel himself which is not a usual occurrence as doing something so terrible could kill even one as strong and vital as him." Dr. Toa took a quick look at the injured people around and noted Saiga as part of his keep. Uncertain about how long Kuro could push himself at the pace he was after dealing with so many battles and injuries, he was going to help him as best he could. Even now his giant form was straining itself against all the world to maintain the tunnel's structure.

Kuro had not made it up the tunnel to the battle as he collapsed from the whiplash of his other two bodies falling in battle as he burned his
Sanryoukyougan, Mouko, and Kyojin forms for the power to save Sunan and refugee lives. Blood escaped his eyes like tears as his heart began to thunder and his head began to ache as he collapsed to one knee, the final moments before they fell showed him Sousuke fighting with all he could and destroying his fragile twin soul as he did so and Urufu, Yume's clan member striking him down for their own duel's sake. He would not fault him but Kuro had received an order from his steward to cease fighting and commence healing efforts. If Urufu survived Kuro would have to thank him personally later. As it stood Yume had not even believed that he was simply fighting to disable his attacker and had interfered with the entire battle. Children and their hatred of others, he had lived with the ire of demonic ties all his life but to have a fellow Sunan use it against him in battle would mean a stern punishment when this was over.

Kuro's mind drifted between pain and rage as he burned the blood limits of three of his bodies to save Suna and its people he felt his Sanryoukyougan side and his Mouko side fall in battle, had it just been a one on one duel he would have fared far better but the chaos of true battle never let anyone choose how they would fall. He remembered the Inuzuka warrior striking him down but that was neither here nor there Sousuke was burning his own body and the remnants of his soul for power he could not let his little brother die. He was down but his healing factor should be able to keep up. Something else had to be occurring for his bodies not to simply heal. He could break his spiritual link with them but that would place them in danger of true destruction. Akuma Kuro decided it best he summon the fallen bodies away and repair them away from others so that his brother could at least fight to his full ability. Knowing him he was trying to protect his broken forms and taking even more damage.

He began to draw upon his darkside for power yet again as he summoned Hyakujuuonouu's bound form to promote healing. Slowly with great pain he began the summoning process to retrieve his broken bodies.

Requesting permission to retrieve bodies but see below... this can only be allowed through the expressed permission of those in the thread.
A Summoning technique available to any of Rikudo Sennin's Paths, this allows the path to immediately call forth any other paths to its location for immediate back up. This unique summoning skill is powerful enough to call forth all other bodies from across the region in a single puff of smoke, making it nearly impossible for a body to be taken out by a surprise attack as multiple teammates are always just a handsign away. This skill may also be used to "Desynchronize" a path from the Rikudo Sennin's Mental Link, strengthening their focus upon the other remaining bodies.
Information
Prerequisites
Rikudo Sennin, Rinnegan, Six Paths of Judgment, 115 Chakra Control, 115 Ninjutsu

Effect: Allows any path to summon the other ones into battle and synchronize their mental link to enable battle. For any already present in the topic when the battle is called, this must be used to strengthen the mental link to the level of combat. Paths summoned into battle are unable to be used the round they are summoned, as the summoning disrupts the link between the Rikudo Sennin and the Path.

Special Action - Desynchronize: For 1 Ap, the user may cut off the mental link with a specific path, regaining the Ap they lost while it was under their control. However the user cannot resynchronize with a desynchronized body for the remainder of the battle. Any Genjutsu affecting this Path upon desynchronization are transferred over and experienced to another path at the time of desynchronization.

Note:
- This jutsu is modded as if instantaneous, and does not require handseals.
- This cannot be used to escape battle.
- Naturally, path's summoned do not have to wait 3 Rounds to enter a battle, however no actions may be used with a summoned path until the start of the next round.
- Cutting off a body's mental link leaves it in a comatose, lifeless state. Any damage harming this body does not harm the user, as they are no longer linked. This lasts the remainder of the battle.
- When Genjutsu effects are transferred, They will effect a random path active in battle that is unaffected by genjutsu. This path retains the ability to resist the illusion, however.

Cost: 300 Cp per Body Summoned

(I know its been much to long since I posted, and I’m sorry Kuro x.x But I want to have at least some closure in this topic...and if you'd allow it then I’d be grateful. And if we try to pull the thread to an end, I’m giving permission for the body retrieval jutsu.)

Haru nodded his head as he listened to the doctor. So they had people inside of Suna...who knew how many of them...were they still among the civilians. That didn’t matter...at least for now. Daibatsu said that there was a fight raging on further on into he tunnels, with Kuro being there. Part of him wanted to dahs forward to assist in the battle...and it scared him slightly. He never craved for battle, never wanted to see anyone hurt by him...but these events pushed him to the brink of his physical strength and mental sanity. He remembered how he defended the academy using his sand in an almost sadistic manner, how eager he was to face Aiko...was that really what he was turning into... He couldn’t allow that. He always belief Shinobi could be better than that...had to be better. And he'd be damned if he didn’t try.

Bracing himself on the ground he focused all his might into the ground around him. So close to the raw underground tunnels, he had lots of material to work with. From the ground, wall's, from every possible entry sand started to pour around the people moving through the tunnel. It would move towards the people and puppets supporting the tunnel, tightening around the beams, filling into he gaps and supporting the construction more. Turning to Daibatsu he said "If there is something more I can do to assist you Daibatsu-san, please let me know. I’ve seen to many lives lost...and as long as I draw breath I won’t allow more to be lost here"

The fighting was intense flashes of light from tremendous jutsu's were seen below and then just when it seemed things were done thunder and lightning could be heard. What no one but Daibatsu, and Harupia had noticed was that Kuro's giant form had turned into crystal leaving a smaller armored form trapped inside the new formed carmot of solar crystal. He had given his all and completely exceeded the limit he could maintaining his giant ogre form to keep the tunnel out from collapsing. Now his crystallized body was part of the tunnel, permanently. Kyojin Kuro lay at the heart of the crystalline structure unable to free himself. Perhaps Harupia might have an idea of how to free him. Daibatsu continued sort refugees and citizens carefully checking over all the current escapee's to insure no more Cabal insurgents made it into the fray above.

Haru blinked as the sounds of battle reached them even here, a thunderous display somewhere far off into the tunnel. he couldn’t tell by the jutsu themselves who was doing what, he didn’t even know who was participating in the battle at hand besides Kuro. BUT by the time he would reach it, it might have been over...and with all the people rushing through he felt he was best suited making sure the roof would not fall down. He wasn’t the only one supporting the structure, with a mammoth crystal construct which had the shape of one of Kuro's bodies...though something seemed off about it. He took a closer look until he realized...there was something in the core of the construct. Something shaped vaguely...human.

He moved in closer, being able to move mostly freely even with the massive amount of sand he was commanding, until he didn’t try and make some more elaborate maneuvers with them. Inspecting the crystal construct showed that there was indeed someone stuck within it. A large men indeed...Kuro? Did he trap himself trying to help the village? this couldn’t possibly be good. Haru thought for a bit, before he reached his hands to touch the crystal, feeling it with his fingers. Trying to gauge what minerals it was exactly made of. While sand was the element he knew best, he had taken he time to learn about the more solid mineral within the ground. He was hoping to manage to attune himself to the foreign crystal, and slowly star to erode it, not the whole construct, but just enough for him to retrieve the person trapped within it. He hoped it wouldn’t be too late...if its worked in the first place.

It was Carmot, but formed from demonic chakra, and the titanic flesh and bone of Kuro's transformation pushed too far. It was only meant for him to turn into a giant for a battle lasting no more than ten minutes, but in his desire and duty to protect the citizens of Sunagakure he had held his form holding the tunnel stable until he had literally transformed into the chakra crystal that citizens used to mine from the corpses of sandwyrms and other giant beasts of the desert. Haru came from a long line of artisans so his knowledge of how to mold, meld, and bend elements was nearly unmatched. Knowing sand as a part of his own body and soul could lend aid to freeing Kyojin Kuro from his 'Carmot' imprisonment. As he touched the chakra crystal giant, he could feel a slow steady heartbeat. Kyojin Kuro was still alive but every last drop of power inside him was spent.

Carmot...though it wasn’t pure by any means, he could feel the unusual, almost venomous chakra within it. The Toranao clan was never afraid to draw power form sources on might seem as tainted, all in the name of the village and its people. They had the strength and resilience to tame the dark powers...though one might consider the consequences of losing control. Then again, the invasion showed one needed not dark powers to be a monster. This and many other thoughts came to his mind as he tried to calm himself, focusing on the crystal before him. He could feel he feint beat of Kuro's heart, still live, but quite weak. Slowly, he would attempt to strip away the crystal, slowly grinding it into sandy dust to make his way towards the enclosed body. He was carful, not wanting to collapse the whole Giant statue, nor lose his concentration on supporting the structure. Slowly but surely, he was reaching his goal.

OOC: Sorry about the wait on response, have been out of it with bad weather and personal issues

Slowly the main crystal formation around the heart of the structure began to yield to Harupia's manipulation. As the crystal began to crumble into white sands in response to Harupia's efforts energy began to flow into him from the forced self containment of Kyojin Kuro. It was the feeling of thanks and relief as it was obvious he could not free himself without causing the tunnel he supported to collapse. There was a dark energy to the pulses of chakra as the heart of the structure was slowly freed from the giant crystal titan form of Toraono Kuro as he was literally giving his newfound lifeline the energy he had once tried to use to free himself to Harupia to help him. It was obvious to Kuro that he would never be able to assume a titan form again but he could live with that after making sure the people of Sunagakure had an exit. Daibatsu Toa realized what was going on and what had occurred as Akuma Kuro was in another chamber collapsed and exhausted from having his alternate forms pushed beyond a state any other ninja would have died in. Near unconscious and pushing on off of will alone he was truly grateful for Harupia's help.

So far so good…he could feel the crystal crumbling under his fingers, slowly begin grinded into fine, sand like dust…though it was a delicate procedure, at least if he didn’t want to collapse the crystal structure…that and the fact he was also holding up the construction with his own sand was making it quite tasking, and there was still much to go through. The fact he wasn’t too long removed from the hospital bed didn’t do much to his stamina reserve. But then he felt something change. Something different course though his body.

It was strange…different then how it felt when he focused on his own jutsu. It wasn’t that the energy felt foreign, but…disturbing. As if there was something dark within it, yet something familiar as well…Was it Kuro? Was he conscious there…and somehow fueling him with more power? He knew the Toranao walked a fine line with the powers they tamed…and could it be Kuro himself was sharing some of that power with him? Was that even possible, and how would it affect him? There was something…dark within this power…but it helped him keep his mind focused and the process going. And for all he knew , this was aid from Kuro…and he couldn’t afford to mistrust members of his village at a time like this. Harupia continued to disassemble the crystal shell, a bit quicker now that he had more power, hoping to reach Kuro sooner than later. He couldn’t know how long the Toarano could last in his casing…

Dark crimson crystals began to intermingle with the sand under Harupia's command as the crystal structure was formerly the giant form of Kuro pushed well beyond its sustainable limits. As the crystal began to respond to Harupia's will dark chakra began to intermingle with Harupia's own as Kuro sought to speed up the process toward the freedom of one of his battle forms dark crimson granulated carmot began to filter into Harupia's sand and eventually into his blood stream entering through his eyes, nose, and mouth as he breathed while carefully controlling the erosion in the chest of the crystal giant form. Soon he could see Kyojin Kuro begin to move as sixty percent of his body was literally carved free.

In response the dark chakra began to surge into Harupia's body changing him ever so briefly, his eyes went black with a red core as the dark chakra took root in several of his tenketsu. Harupia's body felt more intense, he was more muscular, and his chakra control became precise as a Lunar seal empowered his mind and body in response to and as thanks for setting Kyojin Kuro free from his self imposed prison. With portions of his body internally and externally fused with demonic carmot Kyojin Kuro had changed a bit. He was still obscenely well muscled and tall and if he were ever to remove his helmet he too looked just like Kuro. His eyes were no longer violet and gold they were now as gray as the clouds in the sky just before a storm. His lips are full, rich and of dark chocolate smoothness. His brow was sheathed in fused carmot and Takahashi steel armor. Long luxurious, silver-grey hair spilled from beneath the back edges of the helm. His neck is thick at 28 inches, leading to massively muscular shoulders and an explosively developed 68 inch chest. His biceps were 26 inches around as well.

From his mid back to where his neck meets his shoulders Kyojin Kuro is adorned with Runic Terran marked carmot/steel armor. His upper right shoulder bears a tribal black lion. He stood once more as he hit the floor able to reach his full 8 foot, 5 inch height and now weighing in at an unfathomable 425 lbs. Grateful for his freedom he carefully shook Harupia's hand for freeing him, the blood in the crystals began to intermingle with Harupia's sand as the dark chakra slowly took on a life of it's own.

By this point it was clear something was influencing the Sunaku as he cracked the shell of the crystal. An unusual chakra mingling with his own, pushing him forward. It felt strange, somewhat menacing, but it didn’t seem harmful. He could feel it seeping into him…quite literally. He was always sensitive to minerals, controlling sand for most of his life, so he could see the tiny bits of carmot moving towards him… and even though usually having sand in your eyes was far from pleasant, now it seemed neutral…even natural to some extent. And it seemed he was almost done. Kuro…or at least one of his manifestations, was starting to stir…and then he felt it.

Deep in his core, at his Taknatsu he felt a surge of power. It was intense, painfully so, though also reinvigorating strangely enough. It felt like his muscles burnt from extrusion, yet had more strength than ever before. He could feel his chakra ablaze in him, burning brighter then he’d ever imagined. It felt foreign, and somewhat frightening…but he felt the raw power. And while he never cared much for strength, the last few days…all the things he saw and he couldn’t stop…perhaps more power want quite the answer, but what if he were to ever face someone as powerful as Akio head on? He would need the strength to do so…so he accepted the power granted to him.

His body claiming slowly though still burning from the power, he saw the imposing figure of Kuro, extending his hand to him. He reach out, squeezing the hand, even though his muscles still burned a bit as he said “Kuro-san…glad to see you in…relative good shape. What happened to you?. And…what’s happening to me?” he asked, a hint of uncertainty, but also curiosity in the voice…the mingling of his sand and the crystal he broke down on fueling his interest.

Kyojin Kuro looked back to his titan form now crystallized as a foundation for the walls to exit and enter Sunagakure before realizing that his Ogre Magi powers had transferred to Harupia while freeing him from his crystalline shell. Kyojin Kuro's armor had partially crystallized in carmot fashion. He could feel his sunstone chakra crystal had dissolved in response to the strain of maintaining his titan form far beyond his chakra and spiritual limits. He could also see the remnants of his power transferring to Harupia's body and his gauntlets."I thank you for your aid in freeing me from my suspended state, I had burnt my blood power for far too long and caused my self imprisonment. Through your efforts the spiritual power of my blood has found another way to continue to fight against those that would cause harm to Sunagakure and our people. You will notice enhanced strength, you will find yourself taller and stronger. You will also find yourself capable of tremendous feats of combat, do not fear it. Just be careful not to abuse it, the backlash could leave you severely weakened or worse. Do you understand?"<i></i>

A surge of dark chakra took form within Harupia's sand turning it black and violet as it ever so briefly took form, but only in a manner Harupia could see.

Haru still felt a bit dizzy as Kuro spoke to him. It felt a bit surreal…well, everything around him felt weird, and somewhat painful, whatever power drove him before still flowing through him quite violently. And the world around him looked as if he was in some kind of haze…the colors seemed brighter, almost blindly so, the statue left after Kuro was freed standing tall before him. And as he watched his surroundings, suddenly a beast appeared before him. Something like a lion, but not one from this plane of existence. It had horns, its mane,, its entire body was purple…and then it vanished. Blinking, trying to refocus his yes he spoke “D-did you see that…the beast…what was it?” after a bit of pause he continued “I can feel the weakened part…it feels…painful, though it seems to be settling in…probably the fact I came here straight from the hospital is not helping me much, hehe. Are you feeling well now? Will your powers come back? And…what exactly have you bestowed upon me here? Also, why did you decide to use you powers in such a drastic manner in the first place?”

Kyojin Kuro took a knee and looked about before telling his secret. "The power within me comes from the demonbeast king but it is not limited to me. He can and will choose others that show potential to wield his power in defense of Sunagakure. He craves battle, he seeks to empower others so that he may feel alive by living up to their pact. The pact my father and his elder brother made with the First Men to defend their descendants until the end of days. My blood powers will never be what they once were, but I am still part of a greater being. To tell you the truth I personally bestowed nothing upon you, I was simply using my powers to keep the tunnel from collapsing so everyone could escape. It never occurred to me that my desire to protect life would crystallize my giant form and make my blood burn itself out. I still have my strength and skills so I am certain I will find another way to save others. "

Listening to Kuro was quite insightful, but also somewhat horrifying. A pact with a demonic beast, who now chose him as one worthy of its power...and burning blood? Stepping closer to Kuro, kneeling along with him and looking into his eyes he said "I can’t imagine how painful that was, and how much you had to sacrifice...but let me thank you, even though IM sure whole of Suna will do the same...It seem the giant you created will be holding up the tunnel well...and I’m pretty sure having you blood burning earns you some time to relax within the hospital walls. I know something about that...though it was more blood loss in my case" he said with a bit of a chuckle before offering Kuro to stand up as he said "Daibatsu-san must be worried about you. I want to help everyone as much as you do...but I feel that if we strain ourselves to much at this point, it’ll only bring us more harm...I’ll be looking forward to learning how to handle this power I’ve gained" he used at the end. It still felt weird, somewhat foreign...seeping away at his power. He wasn’t sure how bad it would get...but he had a feeling they would both need help getting out of the tunnel if they stayed to long.
