The first basic steps [Class]

The days of the academy had long since passed for the Hyuuga standing in the empty room running his hand across the desk ready to teach the next generation what he had learned so long ago. It sent a nostalgic feeling through the captain's veins a brief pause to think on the title, Captain, that was not his position today no, for now, he was but a simple teacher looking to pass knowledge gained over the years to eager students taking those first few steps into the world of shinobi.

Turning back to the board the lesson today would be a simple one picking up a piece of chalk drawing quick smooth lines writing three simple words Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu the three basic forms of Jutsu any shinobi should know from the early days going forward as such covering each base to some extent would be the opening steps for their growth and as time went on possibly help them decide what to specialise in.

On his way to the room, the academy had seemed quiet that day most students already in classrooms going about the day to day business while the sparse few ran to and from the library grabbing books and materials for upcoming tests or to further increase their knowledge. It brought a smile to Yukio's face they were still innocent and oblivious not yet exposed to the dangers of the world outside the safety of the village walls, the threats that many were made to face on a near daily basis for the betterment of all but this was never something to complain about seeing the efforts of the many years of training come to fruition was a sign of progress.

Such efforts should never be in vain and that was the biggest lesson of all that if you keep persevering and moving forward then if things decided to move in your favor, there was a very good chance you would see yourself rise through the ranks in the years to come.

[Uchiha Asuka]

“Asuka!” Auntie yelled “You’ll be late!”. Asuka dressed herself as quickly as she could, today was probably the most exciting day of her life. Her first day at the ninja academy, the first step on becoming a shinobi.

“Asuka!” Her aunt yelled again, louder this time. Asuka sighed, she gave a quick prayer to the swords hanging on her bedroom wall and ran out, down the stairs almost falling by the middle. She smiled at her auntie and simply grabbed a piece of toast running out the door. “Sorry Auntie, gotta run!” Chuckles could be heard as she closed the door behind her and started sprinting left to right towards the Academy, it wasn’t far enough to be a problem but she would still be late if Asuka didn’t hurry.

On the way there Asuka almost chocked on her toast from trying to breath and eat at the same time, she stopped a couple of times to take a breather but didn’t slow down her pace.

Asuka has been looking forward to this day since she was a smaller… child. Her mother used to talk about how she was going to be sent here, how she was going to become a great shinobi. And today marked the beginning of her adventure.

Her mouth dropped when she saw the academy, it was everything she had hoped for. She wondered if she could make friends with anyone. So she took the initiative and started literally introducing herself to every classmate she could find. “Hi, I’m Uchiha Asuka.” She spent a few seconds with some because of how crowded it was but it was worth it. That was her thinking until the bell rang. She was going to be late… her worst fears realized. NO, she sprinted as fast as she could to her classroom. Asking directions here and there to get to the right place. She came to a halt once she noticed the classroom number above the door, this was it. Asuka opened the door and walked in, the teacher didn’t seem like a traditional Instructor but she placed no mind into it. She bowed.

“My name is Uchiha Asuka. Pleasure to meet you.”

[Kujo Kazuya]

Nitish was sleeping because of the training he done last night. After a little while the alarm ranged and Nitish see’s it’s already time for the academy. So, gets ready as he can and he was wearing a white T-shirt with an uchiha crest on his back and wearing shorts’ on his lower body. He gets out of house and lock’s the door because he lives alone. He heads towards’ academy and he then sees a little girl running at a high pace towards the academy. Seeing running her Nitish thinks’ that he was also late. So, he start’s also running and makes the pace as fast as he can because of his training there is a little bit of change Nitish thinks. So, Nitish thinks’ “I should take a short cut and I should use the way of roof instead of the road.” After Nitish thinks’ it He goes through roof and when he was going he see’s that girl running at his full pace. Nitish know that he was also new at academy but he also know that he was shy too. Nitish was arrived at the school first before that girl and before the bell rang. So, he enters the class and sit’s on the desk at the middle of the class and their teacher comes in and He wanted everyone to introduce. So, everyone introduces themselves and it was now Nitish’s turn he stands up and says “I am Uchiha Nitish and I am pleasured to meet you all.” After saying this Nitish sit’s and that girls arrives and suddenly introduces herself and Nitish was now able to get her name and thinks “So, she is an uchiha also and her name is Asuna. Pretty much nice name.” Nitish thinks’ in his thought that and then she takes her sit.

Seeing each of the students enter the classroom it was a pleasant surprise to see that manners were still very much taught to the younger generation each introducing themselves upon entering the class through both of them being Uchiha was something of a surprise having not seen them around the Uchiha household even though he lived there. "Well, its a pleasure to see you've all arrived, with introductions out the way we can get right to it." He spoke in calm tones though loud enough that those present could hear it pointing the chalk in his hand to each of the words on the board.

"So, I would assume each of you know the basic names of each of the Jutsu forms however what you know as individuals is unknown as such I will select at random what I wish for you to tell me about." Lifting a digit into the air and letting it hang here for a brief moment it came to rest lightly on the young Asuka. "Young lady if you could tell me the basic elements of Ninjutsu if not how many can you name from memory?" Which that came a brief pause his eyes never seemed to move always sat between the two before tilting his head over to Nitish.

"And you young man if possible I would like you to tell me the types of senses that can be covered by Genjutsu and if possible one basic Genjutsu." There would be plenty of time for the two to answer the questions seemed basic enough but why wouldn't they be to him at this point. Thinking back on his own academy days it was a matter of making sure to cover what he could with them without making things overly complicated as his own teachers before him had done.

[Uchiha Asuka]

The teacher didn’t introduce himself but Asuka thought the class was more important. Although she would ask him after class, maybe even ask for extra training at a later date. Asuka did have the bad tendency to forcing people to do what she wanted just so she would leave them alone. It was effective, and so far no one disliked her.

He seemed rather cold, maybe the life of a shinobi hadn’t been kind to him. From what she could hear being said in the streets of the Uchiha district, a shinobi life was anything but pleasant and nice.

“Yes, sir!” She stood up from her desk when called with a smile plastered on her face. Yes! With this she could prove herself! She already knew basic information on shinobi thanks to her father’s training, which consisted mostly on theory rather than action. His methods were… persuasive and the information would be memorized, if she didn’t… well, she memorized what she was taught one way or another.

“Basic elements of Ninjutsu…” Here was a tricky question since the monks at the village didn’t have the same definition of Ninjutsu as Shinobi did. The monks thought of Ninjutsu as 4 elements rather than 5; air, water, fire and earth. Lighting wasn’t in the mix since it came from the air. But considering this was a ninja academy and she doubted the Teacher meant a monk style of defining Ninjutsu. “Well sir.” She started placing a hand on her chine in a thoughtful manner. “Ninjutsu can be divided into 5 basic elements Water, Wind, Fire, Earth and Electricity.” And like a machine she added details. Her father made sure she defined word by word. “Although some are stronger than others, Wind beats Lightning, Lightning beats Earth, Earth beats Water, Water beats Fire and Fire beats Earth.” She sat back down with a smile, she got it!

As Nitish sees her she was all chinned up and answering the question without thinking about anything and when it was Nitish’s turn their teacher asked him “I would like you to tell me the types of senses that can be covered by Genjutsu and if possible one basic Genjutsu." As Nitish was for Uchiha clan and orphan from the starting he know much more about Genjutsu. So, he takes his time stand’s up and then answers “Sensei, Genjutsu covers all the five senses and creates illusion in the mind but does not do any physical damage.” Nitish answers the question without hesitating or shying and then Nitish also gives a answer on “how many genjutsu’s types are their? There are 4 type of genjutsu Visual, Audial, Will and Kinetic and one of the most basic genjutsu is false surrounding which is usually a visual genjutsu and the most power full genjutsu is Audial genjutsu with can be performed from a long distance.” After answer the questions Nitish sit’s and have pleasure inside that he answer without shying a bit. And Nitish thinks “it was a pretty nice question but a easy one sensei asked.” And after a while he also want to ask to train with him for his genjutsu and Ninjutsu training in the forest of death. And then Nitish smiles a bit. And then Nitish sees sensei was thinking about something which they don’t know but Nitish ignored it and thinks “I know Sensei will not think about other thinks while teaching a class. Which is more important than any other things.” As he sees his sensei he relaxes a bit and gets’ ready for his next question which will be asked by sensei at any instant of time. Then Nitish sees’ Asuka and she was a bit excited about this class the whole time.

Pacing in front of the desks the Hyuuga listened to each of their answers nodding slowly each time the correct answer was given keeping one hand behind his back as he rubbed his chin. "Correct I see you have grasped the basics of these two forms of Jutsu however this is simply scratching the surface of such things moving onto the final form of Jutsu which is Taijutsu this, like the others, can come in many forms based on the practitioners preferences"

Turning to the board and writing the answers given to him by both students below there respective Jutsu classes before moving over to Taijutsu writing a series of words below. "The forms of Taijutsu are Unarmed, Slashing, Piercing, Thrown, Projectile, bludgeoning, buffing and puppet you can usually tell what kind of Taijutsu a ninja is using by the weapon they are using however this will not always be the case due to the existence of trick weapons." Drawing lines below each one and creating a box continuing to write.

"Expanding on these three areas each has something that allows them to be stronger than their base form usually they will be used together to improve on already great qualities for instance." Holding out his arm a coating of Crystal stretched across it covering the area from his fist to the forearm holding it out for the class to see. "This would be a prime example of such things the crystal coating allowing me to further improve my own Taijutsu abilities these are things you will learn in the future depending on what kind of fighting style you develop."

This lesson would be the first glimpse of what could be achieved with time and effort however their own combat styles would be very different to his own unlike the Hyuuga clan who had a focus on the Taijutsu aspects Uchiha leaned more towards Ninjutsu and Genjutsu.

[Uchiha Asuka]

Asuka smiled widely, she was right! She had gotten the right answer, she was smart! Unfortunately, she didn’t know much about Taijutsu. It was basic, difficult to master but easy to understand. Asuka wrote down notes on her scroll as the teacher started writing on the board. All details of the Taijutsu, different types of weapons and how to identify them.

It did make sense but she wondered what a trick weapon meant? Maybe a sword that instead of doing slashing is a projectile? She would have to research the details. She kept writing as teacher explained. Eager to learn more.

Asuka thought for a bit. She knew Taijutsu depends mostly on the stamina the user has. The more stamina, the longer someone can fight, training builds up the muscle which makes their attacks stronger. Some Taijutsu masters can even manipulate the air and use it as a weapon. But she did have a question. She wondered if Chakra could be used to enhance one’s physical abilities, of course there had to be some kind of limit based upon the user’s physical abilities but could it even be possible! If so what were the known techniques? Was there a drawback? A danger? So many questions.

“Teacher.” Asuka stood up, a little nervous to ask. She took a deep breath. “Two questions, is there a way to differentiate a trick weapon? and Since Taijutsu revolves around the user’s physical abilities.” She tried showing her muscles, which were small but it did give a good example. “Is there any way for the user can increase their physical abilities using a technique that uses Chakra? If so, what’s the limit?” She sat back down, realizing it was more than two questions. Oh well, she hoped teacher answered them. Curiosity was best for learning.

Nitish knows that he was so smart that he don’t need it to right but he want to have a backup for everything. But Nitish don’t know more about taijutsu because Uchiha clan focuses on Genjutsu and Ninjutsu. So Nitish decided to write it down in his scroll for backup and he thinks “while there was exams’ these notes will help me.”
Nitish know that he also uses some of taijutsu’s as in his new sword “BLACK DRAGON SWORD UNLEASHED” but Nitish also wanted to learn some new skills with his sword. So Nitish keep writing and then he sees that Asuka aksed some question from their teacher and she said “is there a way to differentiate a trick weapon? and Since Taijutsu revolves around the user’s physical abilities. Is there any way for the user can increase their physical abilities using a technique that uses Chakra? If so, what’s the limit?” And Nitish thinks “I think I know the answer.” And Nitish also wanted to know if there is a way to use chakra in weapons like sword of kunei. So, Nitish stood up and he was shy but asked “Sensei is there a way to use chakra in taijutsu weapons like sword or kunei?” And after asking this then Nitish has taken his sit and sits. And then he waits for the answer of his sensei and unless wasting that time he keep writing the notes he wanted. And then Nitish thinks “What will be sensei speciality?” While Nitish was thinking about it he was also write the notes as well as. But he knew that he wanted to master his own taijutsu skills’ so he thinks “I should also learn Taijutsu.” And then Nitish was ready to do everything and wanted to save his comrades and fellow patners.

Tilting his head over to Asuka he smiled and nodded at her question it was good to see the students curious about how to improve their own skills while making note and keeping track of what they could come up against. "Well most trick weapons have a base, for instance, I use combat gloves for most of my unarmed Taijutsu which for most Hyuuga is a central source of our combat style however within the wrists of these gloves." Lifting a hand and letting the Crystal coating disperse a quite click could be heard from his wrist three cards flicking out stopping between his fingers.

"Some trick weapons are more obvious than others in this instance i combined unarmed Taijutsu with thrown Taijutsu." Placing an apple on his desk and with a quick snap of his hand launched the cards towards it all three passing through lodging neatly on the other side as the apple as it slid into pieces. "Do not think everyday items ninja carry are simply for display some can be used as trick weapons." Pausing for a moment he gave them a chance to make any notes before moving on.

"As for your second question, there are numerous ways to do this the main one being buffing Taijutsu to push the body beyond normal limits or using ninjutsu in combination with a weapon as for the limit that would all depend on how much training you have done if you wish for an example I can give one as I have done previously." the offer was extended to both curious if they would take the opportunity to see what time and effort could achieve safe to say most of the Jutsu at his disposal could be mastered by anyone given time, however, such things would not come quickly.

[Uchiha Asuka]

Asuka watched with enthusiasm, a wide smile on her face at the display of Sensei’s skills. She tried very hard to see the angle in which he threw those cards, but it moved way too fast for her to see clearly. She didn’t even know a hand could move with that velocity. So that’s the result of years of training. She wrote down the points which the teacher spoke about.

“Hiding weapons within weapons, take note of items carried by the enemy, Ninjutsu can be used for buffing.” She wondered what kind of exercises or techniques she could learn from different people or make her own techniques based on others experience. The possibilities were endless.

She also wondered how were the crystal formed, as far as she knew there were only 4 elements. Unfortunately her mind started to wander off, thinking on how. It would make sense if it was a combination of water and fire. So… water and earth made mud? So many questions, so little time to research. But she didn’t have to worry about that, hell the only thing she could do was summon lightning to her hands which made it stronger, confirming what was said by the Teacher. But was it the same thing? Was it actually possible? Or did another factor contribute to whole equation. She. Needed. To. Know. More!

The sudden silence snapped her out of her thoughts did the Teacher call out to her? She gulped and cursed under her breath, she had done it again. Damn her easily elusive mind! Better safe than sorry! She slowly stood up “Yes, sensei.” She said with a slight smile, hoping she did the right thing. Probably following up with a question would make it more believable. “Hmm… sensei.” She started shyly, holding her hands in front of her. “If it’s possible, would you mind telling us how you made the crystal? I didn’t know that was an element.”

As Nitish sees that their teacher was giving the answer to their question but at the end he sees’ that he didn’t even answered his question of then Nitish thinks “I should I sensei about my question once again.” And then Nitish stood up and ask their teacher “Sensei is there a way to use chakra in taijutsu weapons like sword or kunei?” And after asking the question once again he increases one more doubt that “From which element should crystal formed?” and then Nitish sees’ Asuka that she was asking the same question “If it’s possible, would you mind telling us how you made the crystal? I didn’t know that was an element.” Then Nitish thinks “Looks like she helped me a bit with the question.” And Nitish starts writing the notes once again and sees’ that their sensei’s ability lies in taijutsu as his gloves. And Nitish know that he uses Sword and then he was thinking about “Which one of us will win if I was same rank and level as sensei?” Nitish thinks about and then he thinks “I should challenge sensei once for a fight.” And then he just keeping up with the notes sensei was trying to say and wrote every single point that their teacher said. But Nitish also know to challenge his teacher for a battle he have train hard as he can to do it. He keep writing the notes and thought “How can I master my sword skill? Is there a way to it?” and then Nitish once again stands up and ask “Sensei is there a way that I can master my sword skill?” after asking this Nitish once again sits and write the notes of the card skill their teacher used to cut the apple into pieces. And then Nitish waits and write the notes till he can get an answer for his question.

Seems there would only be more questions for the Hyuuga, not a bad thing considering it would only teach them more about the world of the Shinobi making a gesture towards Asuka with a smile. "A good question well you see this is an extension of ninjutsu as you have more than likely figured out by now, However, It is not as simple as doing the base elements of Ninjutsu. Crystal is what is known as an Advanced element requiring two kinds of Chakra types to be created successfully this, for instance, requires Water chakra to be mixed with earth to create the Jutsu." Tilting his head over to Nitish it seemed the boy had a question for him as well.

"Mastering the use of your weapon? Well with it being a slashing weapon I would begin with the basics of slashing taijutsu building a foundation on that then using it to find more advanced styles I myself am a practitioner of slashing taijutsu and that is the process I went through to learn and master it." Giving pause waiting to see if any more questions would be presented to him Yukio shifted his eyes to look out the window for a brief moment nodding before turning back to the class before him.

It seemed they were all willing to learn a great starting point but one that would have to be built on if the seeds of their efforts were to grow. "Unless there is any more questions I will say class dismissed if you have anything to ask me please feel free to stay behind and speak to me on the matter and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have."

[Uchiha Asuka]

Asuka nodded as she got her answers, Advanced elements… She wondered how she could achieve such level of mastery. Having two affinities, now that’s something worth looking forward to. She would become powerful, she would never be helpless. Probably testing her strength against powerful shinobi was the way to go and she had heard that the leaf was full of them. Seeing what sensei knew, he was probably one of those. She looked at him with admiration, he was a bit cold but he felt warm. As if nothing bothered him, she was looking forward to their next meeting.

Asuka stood up and walked over to the teacher, shyly with a nervous look on her face holding her hands in front of her. “Thank you very much Sensei.” She quickly wrapped her hands around his neck and hugged, this man gave her a chance and praise. But just as quickly she let go, quickly moving towards the door. Slowly opening it she looked back. “One day I’m gonna beat you!” She smiled before walking out, closing the door behind her. She learned so much and now she was headed to her next class, one step closer to becoming a powerful Shinobi, no one would need to protect her, no one would die by her mistakes. The start of an epic adventure!

Nitish was happy when he get his answer and also finds out that his sensei is a practiser man who practices his slashing taijutsu like him. And then their Sensei was waiting for other questions but he didn’t getting any questions and then he said “Unless there is any more questions I will say class dismissed if you have anything to ask me please feel free to stay behind and speak to me on the matter and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have." As he said this the class is over and when Nitish was wrapping up his stuff he sees Asuka thinking some thing and then she goes near sensei and says “One day I’m gonna beat you!” and after saying this she smiled a bit and then headed towards the door and goes to the next class she got. And then Nitish thinks “What does she want to say?” and then he also heads towards his sensei after wrapping up all the stuff and says’ "Thank you sensei for day and every thing you thought us.” And after saying this Nitish also heads out for his new class the Basic Aid kit given by a unknown teacher he don’t know. And Nitish thinks “It’s just starting of the new adventure of myself and it will get more and more hard until I reach a point I want to reach and become the most powerful Uchiha and Shinobi of this shinobi world.” And heads towards his next class with is not so far. He just have to do a little walk to reach his class so he can learn new things.

A smile came across the shinobi's features like those before them this generation of students seemed to have the drive to improve always a good sign for any teacher, however, only time would tell the paths they chose. The options were numerous and difficult that much was a certainty and even the lesson he'd given today was but a brief introduction to the possibilities of Jutsu and the power they carried. Chuckling at Asuka's words he spoke in a calm tone now that class was over a more gentle and kind expression came to rest.

"Well, I look forward to the day you both fulfill those dreams just remember that nothing will come without hard work and many trials will present themselves as you go forward it's up to you to overcome those obstacles and become better than you are now." Those were his final words of wisdom before exiting the room returning to wandering the halls of the academy waiting for the next class to begin. Uchiha Nitish and Uchiha Asuka those were two names he would keep in mind going forward curious to see what branch they would choose and how they would develop not only as ninja but as people as well.
