OOC: Man I really suck, the new job is a lot more work than I thought it would be, but that's not really a good excuse at this point. Hopefully I don't continue to be one of those post once a week at best guys.
Nataku took the scroll from Kuro and eyed it. Kuro mentioned that he would meditate, but Nataku wondered truly how much meditation would happen compared with observation. It didn't matter. He took the scroll and unfurled it out into the middle of the room. A few handseals later, the body lay on the floor, motionless. It was a bit strange to see Kuro, dead, on the floor. Nataku's eyes flashed a red color before returning to their Rinnegan state. The demon blood in him was excited. Let's do this, he thought as his right hand began to glow a soft green color. This was the color it usually took when he was performing a medical jutsu. This was a bit different. The color slowly changed as more and more energy built up in his hand. At first, it was just chakra, but then it became something more. As if every essence of Nataku was being concentrated into his hand. It became blue, then dark blue, then dark red. As soon as the color switched to red, his hand swiftly pushed forward into the lifeless body's chest.
It was a perfect motion, really. The hand was perfectly in the center of the chest and was perfectly still. If one wasn't focused on his right arm, they would notice his left arm was bent inwards with an open palm, steadying himself. This technique was draining, and very important. He did not risk messing it up. Several things were going on at once. First, Nataku was performing medical jutsu to constantly heal the wound he was inflicting, ensuring that when he removed his hand, it would be as though it was never there. Second, Nataku was pouring his chakra into the body, filling it with energy that matched his own. Third, Nataku was splitting his soul between his own body and the one right here, creating a link that transcended common understanding. It wasn't the type of thing that could be easily described, and the use of the word "soul" only helped explain it. Realistically, what most people called a "soul" was probably not what this was.
He sat like that for a while, and anyone nearby would be able to feel the massive amount of chakra moving about. There was so much chakra that it could be visibly seen as a dark blue aura surrounding Nataku and the body. Eventually, the deed was done, and Nataku pulled his hand out of the body's chest as quickly as it had entered. There was no hole, and everything went as intended. He looked at the body, and suddenly the once lifeless Kuro's eyes opened to reveal the Rinnegan. Both of them smiled simultaneously. He was seeing with two peoples' eyes! He was feeling with two bodies! It felt correct and it felt normal.
The Kuro body stood up, and kept staring at Nataku. This was because Nataku hadn't gotten the experience of seeing himself through the eyes of another, and was still re-orienting himself to this surreal effect. Looking at himself was a clear visual cue that extended mentally to allow his brains (yes, that's plural) to accept that the idea that they were outside of their body. As he collected more and more bodies, he would feel as more of a drifting existence than anything bound to a single being. This would take time, though, as this process was slow.
Once he got past this phase, he began to move around, and even began lightly sparring with himself. It was silly, because he knew every move both bodies would make, so it wasn't like a legitimate spar. It was more to make sure his coordination with both of them was in sync. It was, almost too easily. He had spent so much time as several people that being an individual was more foreign to him than this. Inevitably he stopped sparring and began to experiment with his new abilities. That is, those of the Chigokai Kuro path he had just attained.
Nataku used a sharp nail to cut the Chigokai, and the Chigokai began playing with his own blood. First he swirled it around in the air, then he pulled lots of blood out from his body. Ow, this really hurts, what the hell? Still though, he was able to keep the blood floating around in air, and even form it into unique shapes. This was super cool, to him at least. Then he formed the blood into a solid sword and analyzed it. The blood sword then turned back into blood which he coated his body with, to create a sort of armor. Then it all poured its way back into his open wound, and healed the cut. As a last test, the Chigokai body stuck a hand out toward Nataku, and Nataku's blood started to literally boil. It was hot, and painful. So he stopped. He was beginning to understand that this was a dangerous power.
After he was done playing around, he used his mental link with Kuro to let him know. I'm ready, he thought.
