It was the day of the first year Spartan Initiations and this time Shin had made sure to get some sleep unlike with his meeting before about the event. With a large sigh and a rumbling grown he pulled himself from his covers and dress. As he finished his dressing he went to find where Kyibi was since on most days Kyibi was napping at some place around his room. He needed to hurry though if he was going to find the small fox and not be late or even just on time for this.
With Shin about to give up he heard a crash of something falling off his shelf as it clamored to the floor onto what seemed to be a very disoriented fox who had just managed to have a wooden piece of art fall onto himself.
"Ha-ha ..Kyibi are you ok over there?" Shin remarked trying to his best to hold in his smile while watching Kyibi stumble around in a daze.
"Ok Kyibi today is the day for the new students so we have to go you can regain your sense on the way there."
He said as he carefully picked up the little kit and placed him into his kimono to carry him just to make sure he was safe. With Kyibi in tow Shin grabbed his sword and raced down the stairs through the kitchen once again without time to eat this morning and made it outside the house. With haste Shin carried himself through the tops of the roofs gaining towards his destination at the Academy Gates. It was a nice site to see as the day was a cool breezy day with a nice amount of sun shining down on the land.
"Amatsu, good you made it."
Shin knew this voice and his way of referring to him as Amatsu. This was the man that had given him the chance to take part in aiding in this event.
"Yes Murayaki-sama I have made it. Where do you need me to be exactly sir?"
Shin spoke up with pride in himself as he had finally found a place to start making his way into the world.
"Go inside to the left and down the hall to room 200c there hand out the papers that are on the desk and watch for tricks of the kids cheating." pausing for a moment "You remember Amatsu it's not about perfection but about the will to succeed that is what I also want you to watch for while you are in there waiting on them to finish....now get the hell out of my sight and go do your job boy."
The man said with a smile shaking his head as Shin rushed past him down the hall towards the room.
Reaching the room Shin saw five young students sitting in their desk already and so he walked down and picked up the stack of papers to hand out to them.
"My name is Amatsu Shin I will be taking care of you during this Spartan Initiation section of the test. Please fill these out the best you can and I will be watching to make sure no one attempts to cheat on this."
Shin walked back to the desk and sat down watching the students start to fill out the papers before him. This was interesting for Shin to be sitting and facing the class and not the other way around. Thirty minutes had passed and already two students had finished their paper and handed them in to Shin. Carefully watching Shin's eyes caught what he figured was normal a young child attempting to glance over the back of the student in front of his paper to see his answers. Shin just sat and made note of this with the students name and actions selecting him as [Failed]. Finally all that was left was one boy who had been struggling the whole test and could be seen constantly erasing things on the paper and fidgeting but he kept his eyes on his own work and did not stop he just was unsure of things it seemed to Shin. Watching this Shin marked a note down by that child's name with the notes [Shows Heart and Drive to succeed possibly]
With this done everyone had finished the test and so it was Shin's time to go turn these papers and notes in as well and go get some rest.
