Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yoruko approached the door before him, glancing around and keeping himself aware in all forms. Yoruko's parents were no mere chuunin shinobi, they were full fledged top of the line Jounin. They were nothing to joke around about either, one of them was a master of genjutsu whilst the wife was a master of kenjutsu. With a great deal of hesitation he reached for the doorknob and instantly felt the effects of a genjutsu. It was one that he was unfamiliar with but it was a simple one, which attempted to force him to scream. He a flare of his chakra he stopped the flow of it for just a moment, which prevented the genjutsu from ruling over him. He clenched his fist and opened his eyes, the EMS shining brilliantly in the darkness as he opened the door without a sound, and shut it. Locking it with a tight 'click', his eyes discovered a room before him that seemed like a modest office. Several filing cabinets were lined up against the wall with two desks placed on opposite sides of the room. A trapdoor was visible on the side of the wall. Glancing around for any chakra which would reveal traps, he found none. However that meant nothing to him. He repeated the procedure from before stopping the flow of his chakra long enough for the feeling of dizziness to return. He continued the flow of his chakra and detected traps everywhere. He was very careful to avoid the traps that he could see, the chakra emanating from them ever so slightly.

Silence was heard as he passed through and he made his way toward one of the two desks, and began digging through them. Finding nothing more than office supplies, and some seals he ignored them and moved onto filing cabinets that were nearby. He stopped for just a moment when he thought that he heard someone coming and froze, waiting to see. No one should be here at all. Just him. His parents had left on a mission and they obviously did not think him brave enough to go digging through their belongings. Well, they had laid out plenty of traps but he was used to what they were capable of by this point. Opening a cabinet that seemed interesting his eyes widened as he saw a file that was labelled as though it had to do with some of the dealings of the black market that he knew his parents were affiliated with. That seemed interesting enough but it didn't seem relevant until he found that they were in fact messages to a sect of people.

This cult was referred to as the Sinners if the letters were any indication. He pulled them out and took a seat at his father's desk, taking careful measures not to activate any traps. He sat down no longer than a moment before he saw something out of the corner of his eye. A senbon came flying at him at a high speed and he only just managed to duck back in time to avoid it hitting him in the temple, he leaned back and with his Sharingan forced it to vanish. It was gone entirely, absorbed into a different dimension which he would retrieve it from later to see if had any poisons on it. He made a mental note to keep a careful eye out. His eyes dove through the messages, each one causing his heart to race faster as they revealed that the Sinners had wanted a Guardian for their beloved Sin. Yoruko narrowed his eyes at this, wondering if this meant what he believed it could. He browsed through more of the same form of letters, negotiations and forms which indicated that his parents were interested in trading him off to them at one point. However, he noted that the letters seemed somewhat old. The newest one felt weathered somewhat, despite the care taken to prevent it from falling apart. Yoruko's eyes noticed the crinkles and decided it couldn't be too old, but it was nowhere near recent. Perhaps a year or two. Which meant that the negotiations must have fallen through. His sensitive hearing caught the sound of feet hitting the floor and he realized that he was definitely about to get caught if he wasn't careful. He skimmed through a few more letters and found something about them being interested in purchasing an orphan? It looked rather old but before he had time to investigate it more thoroughly he heard his father's voice. With deft silence that had been instilled into him since a young age he placed the letters back in the order they were, and he shoved them back into the filing cabinet before shutting the cabinet. Thinking of a reasonable place to go, the door clicked just in time for him to think of the perfect place to vanish to. As his parents would open the door, they would see nothing but the room that they left. It appeared that no one had been in here. They shrugged and made their way into the office, unaffected by the traps themselves.

Yoruko fell upon the floor of his lover's apartment rather ungracefully if he did say so himself. He only hoped that no one had seen him land, as he picked himself back up. He had seen a great deal of information that he would need to think on, and it seemed he still had a lot of information left to dig up... His parents had at one point considered selling him as a guardian, but he had noted that a note had been left near the letter that said that this was not going to happen, and in fact... They wanted him to kill 'Sin'. He decided then that it was quite obvious that they meant Sadako, and he felt laughter rise to his lips as he cackled. Those stupid fools would be smitten with the irony that the child they wanted to murder Sin was actually in love with her. It was merely a matter of time before they paid for attempting to make a weapon out of him. He would cross his arms before deciding that he needed to head home sooner or later and so he would make his way out toward his house. However, in the joy that he felt, he failed to realize one very simple thing.

He had left his shoes at home.
