The suit was failing, both the mechanical aspects as well as the magical components seemed to be sputtering at best. Shivering, tired and cold a massive armored man came to Dragon Tooth Pass. He sighed as he looked down at his armor, he did not expect his combustion seals to fail in such cold weather or his insulation to start to fail due to the moisture it seemed to wick from the air. His sword whispered encouragement from his hip as they moved onward. One tired step after another, he would hasten his pace once he saw evidence of Kumogakure. He had saved the last bit of chakra stored in his armor (*cough puppet suit*) for this moment. He would summon a storm, not that the weather was entirely pleasant but he was now manifesting a greater storm, better called a blizzard. He checked his breastplate, he needed to be certain his precious cargo was still there. A letter --
It was still intact. That was good, this journey would have been a waste if it was already gone.
He did not enjoy the prospect of forcing his way into a shinobi stronghold but the security of most villages bordered on paranoia. He had no passport. nobody had a passport these days. Well, nobody but other shinobi. The true risk to a village, someone able to create explosives in their bare hands by shear force of will. now that was dangerous. A part of him actually found it amusing that their best security was the use of those passports ironically so that they could turn away anyone in possession of one. Those people were not their men. They had no reason to be there but to spy for their homeland. To take something that is not theirs. Perhaps bed their women. He did not want to do any of those things, although a warm meal, a smith and a soft (also warm) bed would be nice it was not likely in the cards.
First things first, he needed to find the Raikage.

The Letter said:Dearest Raikage;
We are pleased to invite your greatest shinobis to the 1st World Martial Arts Tournament at the Hisashī Zenshōsen Arena in Kurosawa, Cha no Kuni on January 3rd.
Besides participating in this great event the contestants, civilians, non-competing shinobi, leaders and all of their respective families will habe an oppertunity to see the historical city of Kurosawa, the capital of our fine country Cha no Kuni (also known as Tea Country).
The aim of our country is to promote all styles of shinobi sparring so it will be open to puppet users, ninjutsuists, genjutsuists, taijutsuists as well as those that employ less approved methods of warfare such as poisons or are in possession of a kinjutsu. It is important that we respect the differences between our countries during this international display. We assure you fair judgement, a healthy atmosphere, cordial hospitality and excellent treatment. All that we ask of you is a peaceful demonstration of your village's military prowess. This competition is a no-kill tournament and there will be medics on stand-by, many provided from generous villages such as yours for the duration of the tournament.
Our village is a non-shinobi village and we are fully dedicated to the celebration of the shinobi arts and the development of humankind. We welcome all competitors, officials and volunteers for participation in this big event from staging to participating to spectating.
In the interest of fairness as well as brevity we have sent three tokens that you may give to your three greatest fighters so that they may gain admission into the fighting arena. We understand that your greatest fighter might not hold the highest rank in your community and that strength is only a single facet of a great shinobi. We are certain that you will assess your people well and showcase your best because they are not only a reflection of the art but also your honored community.
Thank you;
Hotsume Rika
Countess of Tea Country
