A couple of days ago Asuka had received a letter from her husband-to be about the continuation of their deal, all ending in marriage. The balls on the guy to tell her she was the one that went dark. That she wasn't the one who had vanished doing god know what, that she wasn't the one who had a village to, or crisis to attend. But, he was right on one thing. Deals struck must be kept. But, she had a couple of ideas. Being said, she went to the aviary to send her response=
Dear husband-to-be,
It is very pleasant to here from you after some time. I do hope your time in Suna was full of sunshine and warmth. I also apologize for not sending word, as you might know, running a village is quite a taxing job which demands time. I do know you understand. Besides, if a letter from the Hokage is intercepted from a missing like yourself, it might not look so favorable. Especially with a marriage proposal. That's where my silence comes from. Yours, I figure comes from your mission in Suna, which, based upon the fact that no letter arrived, I gotta think that it was some sort of stealth, top secret, type of assignment. In some ways, I respect that. But now, there's no need for that kind of idle threats cause I could do the same thing, but whats some jokes amongst friends.
I'll be at the valley of the end for a picnic if you would like to join me.
With that, she didn't even need to sign it... or rather didn't want to. Whether he took the chance, it was up to him. Sending the bird up on the sky she watched it fly towards crater city, hoping that her letter would actually reach him. Now, to prepare for her date.
Now, back in the present, Asuka decided to the walking route. Taking in the undisturbed scenery of it all. Her white Kimono swinging lightly upon the breeze that this parts had. Giving out a happy sighed she made her way through the forest and into the clearing that was the valley of the end. Looking at the stream that ran through the place she turned her head towards the big statues that overlooked the waterfall. Whistling a happy tone, Asuka took a couple of storage seals of different sizes from her sleeves, placing the first one on the ground, with a sign a blanket appeared, she placed rocks on the corners to keep it from floating away as she placed another two seals. With a poof of smoke, a picnic basket with sandwiches, dangos and a tea set appeared as well. Pouring herself a cup she blew on it and simply waited.
