Kuro escorted Sousuke and Kazuki away after the young prodigy finished sparring with Kazuki's creations. It was nice to know that there were youth capable of such feats coming up in the world. As he looked at the young Senju Kuro was reminded of Samejima Naoki and her infectious youth. The child prodigy from the fishing town on the outskirts of Soon, she was a fresh breeze for the dojo and a reminder that children need to be trained carefully as they tend to exceed expectations even with the most careful measures. "We shall review the defenses and the wall foundations. The Cabal was able to breach us not because of our complacency but through our kindness for those suffering. After a cursory check of the defensive wards and foundations we shall find a reasonable portion of the dojo for the Senju to call their own. With a new ally made, the Steward would allow The Senju clan members to familiarize themselves with the long history of Sungakure. Sousuke was very grateful that Kazuki had enough sense to manage his own relationships. He certainly seemed like a man who, like Sousuke, kept a very tight reign on himself. Kuro mentioned the Cabal and the reason for their attack. While some of them like Kaito blamed Sungakure for its inaction, what they could not understand was that Sungakure lacked the power that it had once upon a time. Power was never eternal. Nations rise. Nations fall. Sungakure was on its way back to becoming a power until it was disrupted by their attack. They had been stopped. That was what mattered most.

Sousuke thought himself to be an excellent judge of character. Zenichi was a good guest. Sousuke in his mind had no doubt that the main branch of his house would be no less the same, or even better. Zenichi had lacked some manners, but Kazuki seemed to make up for more than enough. Family always presented the precedent for it.
