Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

This particular iteration caters towards Medical Shinobi and Kunoichi being more along the lines of scientists, as well as being healers. Each individual is able to create a research path to contribute to the branch and the village as a whole. An example could be Joe Ninja wishes to study the uses of water techniques and potential healing properties, upon completion it will be archived in a stickied thread for all to view; potentially allowing others to use. Council would have to decide on a bit more than just that, however.

This system is fairly cut and dry, no more complex systems that cause users to turn away from reading and this format is informative, being straight to the point on what one can expect.

Medical Threads

As Shinobi and Kunoichi, our characters are sometimes injured on missions. In order to provide more interaction with all branches, mission participants who RP a post-mission hospital thread may be rewarded.
• Basic Rulings
• This thread can only be done immediately after a Modded Mission or Team Self-Modded Mission has been completed. A thread must be started within a two day period of the mission itself.
• The user gains payment equal to mission leader bonus of the rank of the mission that the user completed (Successful or Unsuccessful).
• Mission Leaders gain an additional bonus, this bonus would be the mission leader bonus once more.

• The Mednin receives pay equal to the Mission Leader Bonus.
• If a Med-Nin treats more than one player from the same mission, the player only gains rewards from the first treated.
• A Med-Nin may only be rewarded for treating mission participants once per week, and no more than one post-mission Medical Thread can be run at a time for rewards.
• A Med-Nin may designate a Medical Thread as a free RP topic and receive no reward.
• Important: At least single Council Member must look over the thread before the reward can be approved of.

Medical Intern
• What is a Medical Intern and what do they do?
• A medical intern is one who chooses to begin exploring the possibilities and opportunities the branch provides. Under this period of time the user is considered attempting to enter the Konohagakure Medical Corpse until deciding to either apply for Medical-Nin In Training or opting to cancel their initial studies of the branch; not all users will enjoy the rigorous task of medical treatments and the heavy responsibilities towards the village.

• During the time of one’s internship is the user to shadow a Medical Shinobi/Kunoichi or higher rank to better understand the research the branch undergoes to advance the villages techniques and mend the injuries sustained within the village premises.
• What rank does one have to be to become a Medical Intern and what do you have to do to innate said internship?
• An academy student or Genin may qualify for this position through speaking with any Medical-Nin or higher rank. In rarer situations will Medics visit the academy grounds to scout potential newcomers.

• Any above the rank of Genin position may also choose to begin at this entrance point upon speaking to a Medical Chief or Sennin. In times of absence, a medical-nin will suffice.
• Does my banner change during this period?
• During this duration one is not considered to be truly affiliated with the branch, thus will not receive a banner change until Medical-Nin in Training qualifications have been met.

Medical-Nin in Training
• What is a Medical-Nin in Training and what do they do?
• A medical-nin in training, or MiT, has decided to pursue the occupations held within the Konohagakure Medical Corporation; either through deciding via medical internship or pass an exam held by a Medical Chief or the Medical Sennin. On rarer occasions will one be accepted via recommendation.

• MiT hold the duty of continuing to improve the village, while dedicating themselves to further studies in improving their own unique skill sets. You will find a great deal of Medics within the corporation study their own specific items to add a unique stamp of their success, along with failures, to the Konohagakure research.

• During this time the MiT is to continue to shadow a Medical-Nin or higher to continue studies. This is not a constant doing, but the interaction of having a superior will certainly aid in overall activity within the branch and to the quality of life. MiT's may begin to research any topic their heart desires, however they must report to their higher ups on their findings or needs to travel to the outer regions of the Fire Country for any potential studies. Along with said studies, the user must still retain the responsibility of aiding the wounded within the village.
• What rank does one have to be to become a Medical-nin in Training and how does one become one?
• A user must be at least the rank of Genin to become a Medical-nin in Training. In rare occurrences, an academy student is able to opt out this ruling via the recommendation of a Medical-Chief or the Medical Sennin; the exam to become a MiT will replace ones Genin exam.

• An exam can range to testing a characters mental fortitude in participating in minor surgery to that of participating in potential deadly research activities. In most cases the exams will be held by a Medical Chief or the Sennin of the branch; however in times of need Medical-Nin will be asked to perform exams.
• Does my banner change during this period?
• Absolutely, upon completion of the exam will you be able to post the link of approval to obtain your Medical-Nin in Training banner. One is able to request the banner change located HERE.

Medical-Nin
• What is a Medical-Nin and what do they do?
• Medical-Nin contribute to the village in a multitude of ways, as well as perusing their own passions within the field. Akin to that of scientists, they are allowed to travel to outside of Fire Country to further their learning’s and ongoing research of items of their choice; which directly contribute to the technology of Konohagakure. All the while, these individuals are expected to participate in mending the wounded, as well as being a leading example for all Medical Interns and Medical-Nin in Training.

• When available, Medical-Nin personnel are to have Medical Interns and/or Medical-Nin in Training accompany the user for further mentoring when the time allows. This will continue to bring unity to the branch and make the branch more involved with one another.

• Medical-Nin report directly to the Medical Chief(s), as well as the Medical Sennin when their research is complete; to be archived and placed into use (if possible).

• Outside of their normal responsibilities, Medical-Nin are able to host tutoring threads for academy students, allowing them to peek into the possibilities of the Konohagakure Medical Corporation.
• How does one become a Medical-Nin?
• Must have held the position of Medical-Nin in Training for at least three out of character months, and completed at least two researches towards the branch. The exam to become a MiT will replace ones Chuunin exam. Under special circumstances can the Medical Sennin allow one to participate in an exam earlier than normal, or by having a Medical Chief recommendation considered by the Sennin.

• An exam to become a Medical-Nin can range from participating in extensive rigorous research to that of life or death surgeries, testing a characters true grit and decision making skills with no time to ponder upon their next move. No one exam is consistently the same as the branch is ever evolving.
• Does my banner change during this period?
• Upon completion of the exam will you be able to post the link of approval to obtain your Medical-Nin banner, located HERE.

Medical Chief
• What is a Medical-Chief and what do they do?
• Medical Chiefs are the often the goals of most Medical-Nin, leading the way for the future and ensuring that the branch is properly taken care of. Chiefs are known to have shown exemplary leadership and skills and that losing them will damage the morale and efficiency of the Medical Corps. Depending on the number of chiefs, one is considered the left and/or right hand to the Sennin. Upon obtaining this rank, one is able to travel to other villages and act as diplomats for the branch, pending the Sennin approval.

• Medical-Chiefs are quite similar to Medical-Nin in the sense that they contribute to the village in a multitude of ways, as well as perusing their own passions within the field.

• When available, Medical-Chiefs may choose to take Medical Interns and/or Medical-Nin in Training accompany the user for further mentoring when the time allows. This will continue to bring unity to the branch and make the branch more involved with one another. Furthermore, Chiefs are expected to mentor the Medical-Nin in hopes of allowing them to up bring the next generation as well.

• Medical Chiefs are able to give Medical-Nin exams.

• Medical-Nin report directly to the Medical Sennin and the rare occasions of the Hokage.

• Outside of their normal responsibilities, Medical-Chiefs are able to host tutoring threads and Classes for academy students, allowing them to peek into the possibilities of the Konohagakure Medical Corporation.
• How does one become a Medical-Chief?
• Must have held the position of Medical-Nin for three out of character months and contributed four different researches. This position is never a guarantee as the Sennin has direct control of who will become the right/left hand of the branch. In rare occurrences, the Hokage may make recommendations.
• Upon receiving the title, one is considered the equivalent of a Jounin.
• Does my banner change during this period?
• Upon being granted the rank of Medical Chief, will you be able to post the link of approval to obtain your Medical-Chief banner, located HERE.

Medical Sennin
• What is a Medical Sennin and what do they do?
• The Medical Sennin is the commander of the Konohagakure Medical Corporation. Difficult decisions are often made while in this position, ranging from the direction the branch will head to the interaction with other village diplomats. The Sennin has the responsibilities of the Medical Chief.
• How is the Medical Sennin Determined?
• If the time comes when the Medical Sennin must step down, gone MIA or was killed in action, a new Medical Sennin will be required to take the place of the next. For whatever reason, there needs to be heirs to the title and the heirs to the title will be Med-Nin Chiefs. However, if the Med-Nin Chief is unfit for the responsibility, then someone from the Med-Nin corps will be chosen in their place. This position may be filled via the Hokage's decision if a conclusion is not reached.

Research Requirement:

Because no one is forced to go to the hospital, and generally avoid it like the plague, the research requirement will be instituted. These are considered Medical Missions. Each research attempt will be a Solo Self Modded Mission based on their OOC rank. It will be reviewed by the Medical Chief and/or Medical Sennin, or designee to determine if it is successful overall.

It will then be submitted to council to ensure the research is not breaking any OOC rules/systems. You do not have to have any successful research attempts for it to count towards the research requirement, you just have to do the research.

Besides the OOC Word Count requirement, the Mission will have to have Trial & Error attempts with in it (because no research and subsequent testing is correct on the first try). Research topics can span many missions, but, they only can account for 1 research topic.
