Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

She found herself repeatedly clenching and unclenching her fist as she approached the mountain pass. This was the last place she wanted to be. If it wasn’t for the promise she made the old man, Haruka would of avoided it all together. A deal was a deal. She secured her hood once more over her head as she began to pass people.

She searched for his face. A face she refused to forget. Even though he understood so little about her and hated her so much, Haruka respected the Ishikawa. He had seen enough and been through enough. She couldn’t scorn him for feeling that way about her. He was right after all. It was her responsibility to protect Kumogakurian ninja. That day she chose wrong and protected Hoshikata. Never again…

Her burden of responsibility had been lifted. To protect her people. She was nothing but a danger to them all. Haruka exiled herself to a life of drifting. Without hope, she lost sight of ever returning home. Maybe it would save others. Save people like Ishikawa Zaku.

He approached, face as if smelling something fowl. Zaku looked for her visage amongst the many strange faces. That one lady who made love to his captor, and then (though he doesn’t know it) stabbed Hoshitkata with a knife seventy-two times in the back.

But he wasn’t here to bad mouth her, though he wished he was. No, Ishikawa Zaku and his little lizard thingy that followed him around were there to pick up a package for Kioku from her.

Once he found her, he approached expectantly holding his hand out for whatever she was giving to his cousin. But in his hand he too found a passport. “Making it official then? Well alright.” he finished, doing the necessary paperwork to let her out of the village.

“See you around.” he concluded, turning back to head inside the village.

The two remain silent as she slipped the letter into his hands. No one would be able to read it anyways. No without knowing the special seal designed on it. The one Kioku and Haruka created to keep their messages private between them. Along with it, she gave the boy her passport.

Nine months ago, she slipped away quietly without official record. Although she felt less guilty about it as the days went by, it was better to make it official. Better to keep it kosher so she could fade from existence without question.

Her silence conveyed her urge to make this quick. Zaku wasn’t someone who wanted to speak with Shima Haruka anyways, she knew. She shoved her passport into her pocket and drifted off back towards the countryside. To what she would return to, know one knew, but anywhere was better than here.
