Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The sun had just set in the west when the two mednin reached the small village nestled in the hills of the Solum. Though, ‘small’ was a small understatement, as the city was quite large compared to the hovels in some parts of the country. The streets leading to the home of the family who owned the small fief was decently paved. The buildings needed a good paint job, but it was clear that the walls and tact would hold for a few more years before needing repair

Overall, it would have been quite the quaint land of Lightning Country if it wasn’t for the fact that half the town seemed terrified to speak to each other. Those who could afford it had medical face masks wore them as they past neighbors. The ones who couldn’t sported dirty scarves in hopes that it was enough to protect those who infected the town. When they caught sight of the two medical shinobi in their field gear, they silently letting them pass to the inner part of the city. the two could tasted the relief on the wind it was so palpable.

When they reached the home of the Lord presiding over these lands, a butler stood at the gates of the small mansion, waiting for them to approach. “Oh thank goodness,” he shouted with a desperate wave. “The messenger bird said you were supposed to arrive nearly two days ago! Nevermind, nevermind,” He muttered as he ushered the two in through the small gates and straight to the foyer of the mansion.

Upon arrival inside, they saw a style of noble life that matched that of the people’s homes outside. Clearly more care was taken of the Lord’s home than of the people’s outside, but it was nothing like the grandeur Akane would be used to seeing in the Shinrya home. At the foot of the stairs, a woman, clearly of higher ranking, waited to greet them. “Oh thank the divines,” she said when the two stood fully entered the room. “Please, come quickly, my husband has taken a turn for the worse!”

Following her, they entered the master chamber where they would find the man’s body halfway off the bed. Sweat glistened on his slickly pale skin as he hurled into the bucket his assistants helped hold him over. Upon further inspection, both would be able to notice the vomit held worrisome amounts of dark colored blood.

After one final gag, the man weakly laid back in his bed, and promptly passed out. His wife, seeing the horrible display, gave a soft sob. “He’s been like this for a few hours. He keeps nothing down, and he feels as cold as death.” She turned to the two MiTs clearly afraid for her husband’s life. “Please, sensei-san, save my husband.”

It had been a long journey to this small village, finally they had arrived, and the sun was setting. Akane had been to this side of the country before, it had almost been a full year since she had come back here. It was very... exhilarating to come back. She was quite glad that they were going to this small village instead of a monks temple. It didn't take long for Akane to see this town was off. It seemed really quiet, which made Akane feel a bit uneasy.

The villagers allowed Akane and her comrade pass through without any words. Though Akane could hear their sighs of reliefs. Akane glanced around at the people of this village, up until they arrived at the home of their patient. Akane's attention was caught by the butler who shouted. She kinda felt bad that they were told that they were suposed to arrive two days ago. "My apologies." She said simply, kinda felt like a habit to say it that way around places like these. It felt like this was a wealthy family, well they were.

They were ushered through the gates, and straight into the mansion. The insides were splendid, but Akane was used to such a luxurious place. So she didnt seem all too interested in the fine decor, she was more looking around to get a layout of the place as they walked through. Always plan an exit they say. Akane's eyes went to the woman at the foot of the stairs, she was obviously higher in ranks then the rest. She lead them to her husband's chambers.

Peeking in, Akane looked at the man. He was vomiting blood, hematemesis, Akane took note of this. Cold sweat, and paleness. Could be caused by anemia. Akane listed these things down in her head before she passed the woman, and approached the man who had passed out. Akane did not speak until she placed her fingertips on his wrist, and she placed her bag on the ground. "I am going to need more information. When did this all start? Are there any other symptoms? I'll also need a full list of foods he's eaten, places he's been before, and after he started showing signs of becoming sick." Akane explained. Her first duty was to save these people's lives, she didn't care to get all mushy, nor was she going to make any promises that this man would live. She knew very well he could die.

Akane started using the jutsu mystical hands on him to at least keep him alive. She sent healing chakra into him, but she knew that would not fully help him. Hopefully it'll keep him alive long enough for her to give him some antibiotics. Akane pulled out a syringe out of her bag was prepared with antibiotics already, she attached the needle, and quickly injected the man with them. It wasn't a cure, but hopefully this will keep him fighting until her, and her comrade could figure out what this was.

Ko watched with a solemn feeling, the sun set to the side of them as they entered into the village they'd been travelling towards for the last couple of days. He felt wary of events to come, as if the future held with it a great weight. Shaking his thoughts away, Ko unzipped the large travelling jacket he wore—unlike Akane, his partner, Ko didn't really match the typical clothing style of a Medic in Training. Ko was far more practical, tending to instead wear his normal style of clothing while he worked. Underneath the large leather jacket was a black sweater and shirt, matching well with the almost grey colored pants he wore. In order to stay mobile in the snowy terrain, he wore a pair of very large and thick boots that came a third of the way up his calves. Aside from the backpack that he carried, full of various medical supplies that he figured they might need, the snowy haired man seemed relatively plain and unarmed. Of course, he carried his gourds full of iron sand with him, though aside from the medical applications he intended to use them for he had no intentions of getting into a fight. The young man was a smoker, and had maintained his consistency all the while they travelled to this little mountain village. Extinguishing the cigarette underfoot as they entered the town, the young man took note of the people in this city. Of course, he was also addressing his partner, Akane, when he spoke. "It doesn't look like what ever is causing the illness is spreading that quickly. That's good news. Let's do our best to help these people out, yeah?" Ko was very on edge around her, truth be told. Whatever had gone on between her and the Sennin Kahako could not have been good for Ko. Something about the whole situation felt off to him. He'd play it cautiously while working with her, though he could just be paranoid. It wouldn't surprise him.

When they arrived at the large mansion, he felt a little annoyed by the way the butler treated them. He didn't show it, but he wasn't the biggest fan of rich people. He never felt like he could trust them, but that's probably due to him growing up in a financially difficult family. Everything was a struggle to get, and so perhaps seeing it all so readily available made Ko slightly uncomfortable. Either way, he would never think to comment on the opulence of the estate while here on business. Following the butler through the estate, the pair of medics were led to a woman who seemed to be waiting for them. Was this the wife? She didn't seem like she was sick, as they had been informed in their briefing. He'd worry about that in a moment, though, for it seemed as if a more pressing matter was at hand. Her husband had seemingly taken a turn for the worse, and his condition seemed to be critical at best. Hurrying over to the man's side with his partner, Ko began to prepare his signature medical technique as Akane asked the wife some basic questions. It was imperative that they get as much information as possible early on. "Adding to that, could you please tell us if either you or your husband have any connections to anyone else who is, or has been, sick? As well, have you noticed any changes in regular day-to-day activities—any sort of change in environment you can think of will help." As he asked his questions, Ko prepared himself for some very quick, very invasive surgery.

One of their issues was that they couldn't be sure what kind of condition he was in internally, at least until Ko would begin to work his magic. Placing the gourds of iron sand on the ground next to the husband, Ko began to use his magnetic chakra to gather a a sizeable quantity of the material. Forming it into a small sphere, the young man pressed the little ball against the man's arm. Speaking to an assistant, Ko continued to work no matter what. "Make sure he's as still as possible. His life may depend on it." With that, Ko would turn the side of the iron ball into a thin needle that would pierce into the patient's upper arm. With a direct line into the man's bloodstream, Ko began to activate his signature healing style. "Radiation Style: Microscopic Emission." The iron sand began to filter into the husband's body, being distributed by Ko's magnetic chakra throughout his entire body. Then, acting as a sort of homing beacon for his chakra, Ko would begin to send out short bursts of radiation—resembling the effects of an x-ray machine, Ko would soon be able to see inside the man's body to find any sort of irregularities that might exist. He would walk through his process with his partner, keeping her informed. "I'm checking for any internal anomalies he might have. It's very possible he could be experiencing gastrointestinal bleeding, which would explain the blood in his vomit, his paleness, and any fatigue he might be experiencing. Standby for any new information." Of course, this was just a guess on Ko's part given the information available to them now. Were he to find anything, then his diagnosis might change slightly.
