The mask he has is from a dead Anbu black op he saw on the way to the sand village, he decided to customize it so it would hide that it was from a ninja and to make people believe he got it from his father before he died.
Weapon: The weapon he chooses to use is a curved shortsword with a wind pattern etched into them. He uses these when times are tough and when there are no other options.
