Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was a busy day in the Torre Celeste; shinobis hurried to report missions or venture out to new assignments. Amid all the business chaos that everyone was drowning in, there was one door open that gave off a very different vibe. A laugh that was like ripples in a still pond after a stone was thrown in. It radiated out the room and into the busy hall which had up until that moment been entirely silent. It was a burst of contagious laughter that could quickly turn the ripples of laughter into high waves of innocent hilarity.

Hak moved around the former office now makeshift playroom like a toy jangled by invisible strings from above; only the puppeteer had to have been drunk. The only thing one could make beneath his coffee-colored red-tinted hair was an innocent smile that could light up any day, no matter how dark. It was the gift of being a child, showing his sparkle of pureness in the hope that those could still shine theirs back at them.

Despite having no playmate today, he ran happily around the room by himself as if the world was his playground. Toys in hand, he giggled over anything and everything he did with a chipmunk-like voice. His brain was alive with his creations as his two figurines were locked in a majestic battle to save whatever kingdom he had conjured up in his imagination. They were sounds many haven't heard in what seemed to be a thousand years and could quite possibly take another thousand years to hear. All his problems were forgotten in this innocent moment, instead, locking away his trauma for a moment of childlike games.

Lost in his imagination, he performed dynamic movements and exaggerated actions. The toy in his left hand escaped his tiny grasp, catapulting itself across the room and into the hallway. It hit the wall with ferocity as his golden orbs scanned the door and could only hope that his new figurine wasn't destroyed during its flight into a solid wall.

The child made his way to the door frame and popped his head out first in an attempt to scan the hallway; however, he failed to look at the other side before waddling like a small penguin towards his toy. Miraculously the item had escaped death, though he would have to be more careful with his new figurines. He had just received them as a gift ever since being taken in by the Main Branch Sennin. He was slightly fearful of the blue-haired woman, and he wouldn't want his new toys taken away abruptly after all. That would sadden him greatly.

Rushing down the hectic halls of Torre Celeste, a young, bronze-skinned girl, with an expression that screamed 'overworked assistant', skillfully evaded streams of busy shinobi and civilians as she balanced a tower of important documents. She was masterful in her steps as she skirted and twirled around the preoccupied employees of the village's administrative epicenter; it was a learned practice, especially as she often took up this particular task in the blue-haired Sennin's stead. "Heya, Suika!" called out one of the treasurers as he subtly motioned at her. "Looking busy as ever, Miss Suika!" commented one of the departments' secretary. Suika flashed an acknowledging smile at them, one that she often substituted for a verbal response when she was on the go, and pressed forward to complete her duty. By this point, everyone knew how diligent the aspiring Main Branch Sennin was; whether dubbed dutiful or a workaholic, Suika always accomplished what she set out to do.

"Annnnd done!" she exclaimed as she stretched out her arms. The documents that were assigned to her were all triple-checked and delivered to their rightful areas for distribution. Plopping open a cup of pudding that appeared out of nowhere, the girl reinforced herself with a generous spoonful as she hummed in complete satisfaction. Her administrative checklist was complete! Now, she prepped herself to dedicate the remainder of her day to training. Casually strolling down the one of the hallways in a much more relaxed tempo, her ears caught sound of a child's laughter emitting from a nearby room. In a sequence that was completely fitting to this scene, a random figurine forcefully flew into the hallway and slammed against the wall. The kunoichi halted her forward advance. Was Umeko around?

The mystery was quickly solved as a dark-haired munchkin poked his head out of the room and waddled his way toward his toy. "Ah." </I><i></i>Suika thought as she examined the boy for a second. <I>"That must be Hak." Yuii had informed her that she took in a boy, one that had a string of tragedies that stained his already short life. The girl was very sympathetic when she heard the news, but it infuriated her more than anything. Just like her own youth, his was negatively impacted by the cruelty of this world. She tried not to dwell on that thought as much because it really did no good; however, and for the time being, Hak was safe, and that alone brought her some peace.

"Cool toy," the girl complimented coolly as she walked toward the boy. Kneeling halfway to better match his height, she opened her palm and manifested an ethereal figurine that mirrored his. "I'm Suika. Can I play?" If given the opportunity, the Chuunin would redirect the kid into the room. She wasn't really sure what compelled her to engage with him, but it felt natural within her spirit. Maybe it was because he was super cute?

"He really is adorable looking," she mused throughout her introductory interaction with Hak. Suika was a sucker for cuteness.... hopefully, Hak wouldn't catch on to that fact.
