Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was actually of some relief that few, if any, were hurt in the tremors that shook the foundations of Sunagakure in days previous. Many of the village's resources were going towards getting the village back into proper working order. Uri was assigned to the small district granted to the brothers and sisters of Mother Suna and the Temple erected in her honor. In his childhood he had visited a few times, his mother dragging him along as to pray for his father's wellness. As he got older he held a small amount of dislike for it since he had thought Mother Suna had decided that it was alright to let his father pass away in such a state. Now grown up he realized that it wasn't such a simple thing as to ask for something and expect to receive it. While Uri wasn't a devout worshiper of any particular religion he believes in a cosmic force that bends and shapes the world based on what the people in it do. Perhaps there was a Mother Suna that had once taken care of those in Wind Country, before the village, before the maelstrom, before even The First Men. Religion was a funny subject.

On scene now, he immediately stamped his un-gloved hands into the ground, clone copies of himself raising out of the shifting mineral floor. Any normal group of workers would require orders and direction, but clones created by a ninja just functioned off of a smaller piece of their subconscious that just knew and understood their purpose. Some of the brothers and sisters came to greet him. He exchanged greetings and blessing, as he knew was customary, and began the laborious efforts of cleaning up the mess caused by the tremors. Uri wasn't one to expend chakra needlessly when it came to performing tasks. There was a greater sense of accomplishment when he dug in with his own fingers, got dirt under his fingernails, and worked up a proper sweat. It was an unusual stance compared to some of the other ninja he had encountered since returning to the village. It also served to not make him seem like he was above the more humble followers of Mother Suna. Just because Uri was a trained ninja did not make him superior. The people around him, the normal, hard-working worshipers all had unique traits, things he would never be able to do. That is why he knew he wasn't better than them, nor would ever be.

Ninja so often became arrogant because of what they could do with their ability to manipulate chakra, but forget that they're still human and aren't anything more than that.

After several hours of work, most everything was tidied up. Taking a quick late-lunch break with the brothers and sisters, sharing stories of his travels and making them laugh, he got to the designing of the blueprints they had requested. Before Uri and the head priestess was a desk strewn with old tomes and scrolls. Settled in the middle was a large unfurled roll of paper. An inkwell sat nearby, the wooden pen in Uri's hand as he started giving shape to the new temple's spire. Besides structural integrity, it was important that the spire be built in such a manner that it show an unshakeable support of Mother Suna. Taking from generations past, Uri designed the new piece to take from the more classical looks while applying more modern design features to ensure its stability. Time vanished quickly and it was only when a brother came in to warn the two of the time did he finally put down the pen. Before them was a great schematic to work with, but the blueprints were still unfinished.

It was decided that it would need to go under review before needing to be built. Satisfied with the results and how helpful Uri was, the high priestess sent Uri on his way with a smile and good wishes.

To rebuild is to reaffirm hope. To provide hope is to maintain life.

Without life, we would be nothing.
