Kyo had returned to the same neighborhood where he had performed an earlier mission, this time he had come of his own accord, while till on a mission it was not one issued by any authority other than that of his own mind. He had learned from the news of his actions that this was a bad neighborhood even for Cronopolis, something which he intended to rectify. While he could not just willy-nilly assault people and take them in, it wouldn’t be hard to find information that would justify an arrest or provoke an attack that would justify a response of whatever he saw fit, at least until word got around about what it was that he was doing here and who he was. He knew it wouldn’t take too long for that to happen, and that it would help build his reputation, something that needed doing. The first thing that he needed to do was simple, establish his presence and gather information, to do so he would do something that some would think crazy. He had already gathered some information before heading in from the same source that had provided him with information on the band of four he had hunted down, in the information provided to him he had found where a hangout was that harbored several wanted criminals, they were all small time, pickpockets, thieves and bullies who intimidate the local population, just the kind of filth that Kyo could start with easily. They also tended to be very territorial when it came to their “block” and especially when it came to their building, something that Kyo intended to exploit simply by walking in, and it was after all designated as a public building.
There were plenty of staring openly as Kyo walked lazily down the street in the open at a pace that suggested unlike those around him he was not concerned with where he was or who might see him taking his time. “Good, the more people who see what I’m about to do the better.” It didn’t take long before a person popped out of the house to watch as Kyo made his way down the street a second time, making his interest in the house ease to see by openly looking it over as he walked by. Not only was he an outsider, but he was purposefully and blatantly showing interest in that specific building and only that specific building and not any of the others in the area. He wanted them to take notice and oh how he wanted them to do something about it. He finally headed straight for it and stopped by the door giving a nod to a man that was sitting on the curb nearby nursing a drink of some kind in a brown paper bag as he began a series of handseals that caused him to blend in with the surrounding area and essentially from sight before he entered the building. He had decided that today would simply be a fact finding mission, seeing if he could find some stolen goods or other evidence of wrong doing that he could bring to the proper authorities, to that end he activated his Snapshot Jutsu to record what he saw. He could always take matters into his own hands if they proved inadequate, either due to corruption or simply laziness, something he felt was a reason that criminals like this were still about in the village. His Intel gathering was simple, he moved along the roof watching carefully the things that happened in the building, entered rooms and simply looked about the room quickly taking it what was in it before sliding the door shut. He always waited, letting his tremor sense inform him if there were people walking anywhere near him before he would open the doors or move, after all he wasn’t intending to get caught and it would be difficult to consider it intel gathering if he gets found by the people he was gathering info on now wouldn’t it?
Kyo had found a room that he had only gotten a small view into when a man entered with a large sack and then left, it seemed to be what he was looking for, crates of various types with random items lying about. He made sure to get the face of the man and any other that he passed while he was working the rooms, while he didn’t always get a good look at their faces, he was certain that they could be fairly easily identified with the snapshot info he was going to provide.
It was more than enough for the purposes he had, now it was time to head out, he had agreed to meet with Miko in another location of Cronopolis and was already going to be a bit late, but he felt the mission self-assigned or not, had been worth the extra time he would make Miko wait. He could turn in the information later, after all he had it saved and it wasn’t the easiest thing to loose, what with being inside his head and all. With those thoughts he slipped out the door behind another man leaving the building and headed on his way.
