She would have thought that after all of that, she can have time to wind down. Her being an introvert means that all this socializing just drains her. Even though she did it for Aria, it still took a lot out of her with all the emotions in the air surrounding today. Getting home she would think that she had time to settle down, but her butler had hurriedly found her before she even entered the mansion and told her of some news. Her bag hit the floor as she processed the information being told to her.
She knew of the situation with her mother, a small sickness, but it would seem as it was no longer something that could be ignored as she was admitted to the byoin whilst Mitsuha has been out all day. Now the relationship between her and her parents have been a little shaky recently what with her own sudden change in powers, but even so... Rushing over to the hospital, Mitsuha would find the room in which her mother was being held at. Walking in, the colors of her face went pale as she seen her mother in the hospital bed looking like, well... Like she doesn't have that long left to live...
Sitting down at her mother's side, her mother would tell her that it is a sickness born from the bloodline itself. A pang of guilt dropped heavy in the girls heart. Did saving that dragon unknowingly save her from the same fate as her mother in the future? Even though she didn't say it, Mitsuha could tell that she was in a lot of pain. She would overhear the doctors talking about her mother, how they haven't seen a sickness like this before and it doesn't look like that she would make it. Clenching her fists, she didn't say anything but looked after her mother. They, (Mitsuha, her father, and her butler), would all take turns looking over her mother as days would pass, hoping that the sickness won't take her from them.
