Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"You ready?"

A lot in their lives had built up to this moment. Blood, sweat, tears, a definitive desire to never learn to actually bake for themselves, the genuine realization that things in life are just so much sweeter when they belong to someone who desperately does not want you to have them. You know, the important truths of life. Ikko was clinging to a wall as casually as someone could actually cling to a wall a couple blocks away from the Raikage's Tower and, most importantly, Yuii's office. Ikko inched his way up to the lip of the nearby building and peered up at the rising spire, a wide grin spreading across his face before he ducked back down, grinning at his compatriot for this thrilling enterprise.

"You're not going to have much time. Maybe ten seconds from when the breaker trips to when the back up gets that door working again to cover about two hundred meters...you sure you're going to have enough time to do that?"

Ikko knew he probably couldn't move that fast so when Siu seemed more confident that she could, he was more than a little impressed...and also a little more than disappointed in himself, but all the same he had his own job to do. Ikko flexed his fingers, and puffs of cold air shot into the air. Before pointing back to the blueprint he had stuck to the wall beside him and tracing his finger along the path Siu would have to run.

"So let's run it again, the milk delivery guy is routine, like clock work he gets there at 10:35 every morning. I heard somewhere that the previous guy was late once and Yuii had him strung up by his pinky toes until he could prove he knew how to recite every different time on the twenty-four hour clock forewards and backwards. I also heard she fired him, but I'm pretty sure its the first one, my sources are rarely wrong. He delivers his milk through a service entrance around the back here that's powered by electricity, you know that stuff we can shoot at people. There's wires supplying the power coming from outside the tower, but they have another thing that makes it inside too, they called it a general-a-tor or something. It's super important, but anyway there's a brief window before the generator takes over and that's when you're going to go in. I'll have the door locked open for you at 10:35, you're going to have to cross the distance way from the guards while they're try to figure out what's going on and sneak in through the door that's stuck open while I...um...make a scene."

Another grin, much wider and much more questionable.

"Then once you're inside, there's an air duct off of the inner garage you can sneak into. Climb up that two stories and it filters out in to a sort of break room on the third floor. It's at an angle that's difficult to guard but it's also chakra guarded from the outside, I would have to try too hard to break through it and we'd get caught, but I've seen it opened before to let some fresh air in. You're going to get up there, open it, then let me in. Also, see if you can grab some of that milk, we'll need it for later. Any questions?"

Two brows furrowed in concentration as the accompanying kunoichi focused to adequately absorb all the necessary information required to properly fulfill the elaborate scheme, studying the detailed blueprint one last time from her position next to the blue-haired shinobi. Now officially but a few blocks away from the Raikage's Tower itself, the elaborate plan was actually beginning to manifest from idea to action, and without a doubt, the two shinobi were treading rather dangerous territory--both physically and legally-- through this intended feat. The whole operation would require the utmost subtlety and carefulness--core traits of shinobi-hood.
The offense of simply stealing cookies itself may not have appeared as anything too severe--yet, the authorities and officials really had no idea exactly what the two troublemaking shinobi actually had planned to accomplish through sneaking into their building. All they likely would see was two criminals. In their eyes, the whole operation may have even gone as far as being mistaken for something as severe as attempted assassination or treason or some sort, and they may immediately assume the two shinobi to be liars. For, what shinobi sneak into the Raikage's Tower and Main Branch Sennin's office for the purpose of stealing something so simple as cookies? Well, Ikko, of course; Hopefully, they would understand that if things somehow went downhill--hopefully.

Still, a promise had been made. For, not only had her younger peer covered her first lunch upon her return into the village, yet, he had also been the very reason as to why she'd even managed to successfully enter through the gates into the village. Therefore, if those cookies had truly been something he greatly desired that much, this seemingly-harmless operation--assuming the two didn't get caught--would be the least the returning kunoichi could do to show her appreciation for the blue-haired shinobi's favors. Or, at least, that's what she convinced herself. It wouldn't be like they were about to kill anyone, right? Well, hopefully....

"It is enough." The kunoichi reassured with a nod, a solemn expression of thought upon her countenance. Undoubtedly, it was quite a distance to cover within just a few seconds. Luckily for the operation, however, if there had been anything Siu had learned during her unwilling extension in the Marshland's, it had certainly been running. The consequences for not being able to flee fast enough in the Marshland's were being captured by kidnap-obsessed natives whom desired nothing more than a brainwashed Kumogakure-kunoichi to implement into their military ranks.
The trick to the feat would not be through physical fitness alone, but additionally through a utilization of chakra release under the soles of her feet.

"All seems clear for now." Replied the older female as she brought her gaze back to the blue-haired mastermind from her further contemplation. "But..let's be careful not be caught, ok?" A somewhat nervous smile was obvious upon the kunoichi's face.

"No telling what they might think we were doing if they catch us. And,"

The older teen faintly shivered as she ruminated upon the idea,

--"I don't want us being hung by our pinky toes by Yuii-Sennin..."

Ikko's head tilted softly to the side as Siu seemed to not be having nearly as much fun with this as Ikko was. He quickly washed that from his mind however and decided to take that solemn expression on her face as grim determination instead, the fiery burning desire for snickerdoodly goodness. Of course, that became progressively more and more difficult to accomplish as she kept speaking. Master plan aside it seemed Siu was thinking about this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder than Ikko had. With a small grin, the boy reached his arm out and placed his hand on Siu's shoulder, a soft and reassuring smile on his face.

"Don't worry too much, Siu. If we do, somehow, manage to get ourselves caught which probably won't happen because my plan is obviously foolproof, then Yuii is going to assume it was all my fault anyway. I have strong thumbs."

Ikko patted her on the head and his grin grew even wider still, as if that somehow completely reassured and finalized the situation. While Ikko seemed goofy and stupid, he was fairly responsible. If this somehow did not go as planned, then Ikko was going to make sure Siu didn't have much in the way of negative repercussion as a result. He was also fairly confident that Yuii would blame him entirely for it, so it helped Ikko be more carefree with the whole.

"Let's go."

Ikko, with one final grin, dropped off the building and landed with the softest of thumps on the ground before tearing off down the street, making for his own post. He left the plan there for Siu, in the event she needed one more reference, but the boy was confident that she knew what she needed to do. He came to a stop at what he was pretty sure was the right spot, if the city plans he stole were accurate at least. A quick set of seals later, and a mass of electrical energy formed around his hand and he began carving a small circle out of the ground beneath him, just enough the he could see the infrastructure below.

"Perfect."

Ikko formed another seal and water began to drip from his hands into the hole, faster and faster until a thin layer of liquid had spread through the hole. That wouldn't be enough, they lived in the clouds so it needed to be able to withstand some rain damage that might sneak through the ground. But it was the ingredient Ikko needed to start off that entrance for Siu. He looked at the time and took a deep breath.

"Three...two...one..."

A torrent of way below freezing air rocketed into the hole from Ikko's outstretched hands and the failure was near instantaneous. The traces of water through the pipes froze and expanded and as they grew, they dislodged, shifted, and damaged key wires and pipes and within moments, as the ice crippled the power momentarily, Ikko released his jutsu, letting the water thaw back out as the electrical his rang through the area, serenading Ikko as he tore from there like a bat out of hell. It was up to Siu now as Ikko moved to the next stage of the operation, making his way to where Siu would let him back in
