After putting his grandfather to sleep, Kuro slowly walks out of the house and into the abandoned house a few blocks away from his. Making sure that no-one followed him, he closes the front door to the house and walk to the lush and spacious backyard. Usually if it was your first time coming, you would be amazed by how well maintained the grass was and how beautiful the flowers were but Kuro wasn’t all that amazed as this was his 10th time coming here.
Kuro walks towards the large pile of rocks which was hidden behind a bush at the back of the yard. He picks up one of the rocks with great effort as shown on his face, even though it was painful he didn’t drop the rock instead started to do squats while holding the rocks on his back. A few minutes later, Kuro dropped the rock and picked up some other smaller but heavy rocks, he tied them onto his wrists and ankles.
He then started to swing his fists in an almost uniform motion, the weight of the rocks caused each punch to sap the energy out of Kuro but he resisted the fatigue and pushed forward. An hour later he started to work on his kicks but due to the lack of food he quickly collapsed on the ground and started to breathe some fresh air as his entire body was sprawled over the grass. As he lay there, the thoughts of his parents and grandpa caused him to grit his teeth and get up.
“I can’t give up now, I have become a Shinobi and get money so I can pay for Grandpa’s medical bills” Kuro shouted before continuing on with his physical training.
After a few hours, Kuro noticed the sun was starting to set down so he quickly hid all of his training equipment and sprinted out of the house. As he stepped out of the abandoned house, he noticed the street was almost void of people except for a few old men just sitting around in their stalls.
“Let’s just hope that they aren’t home yet” Kuro said as he used every last bit of energy to sprint to his house. As he stopped in front of his house, he noticed the lights were on, knowing that his parents were home, he bit his lower lip and walked into the house while mentally preparing for the worst.
