Sato opens his eyes, woken by his mother calling his name. He lies there for a few minutes, until he is clear headed enough to get up. He gets dressed and walks out of his room. On the table is a plate of eggs and bacon, which he sits down to eat. Afterward, Sato goes outside and goes jogging. He pumps his legs, pouring every ounce of energy into his jog. He runs and jumps, trying to get the best workout that he possibly can. He pushes himself as hard as he can, but runs out of energy after about two miles. He rests for a short time, and heads home. Once home, he goes to his room, and gets his paper shuriken. He goes outside, and starts throwing them at the targets he put up behind the house. He takes aim, and hurls the shuriken at the target, it doesn't make it the entire distance to the target. He throws another, it flies far behind the target to the left. Sato is starting to get aggravated, he throws his third, it hits the target and falls to the ground. He gathers up his shuriken and keeps throwing. He throws and throws, missing more times than he hits. His arms sore, and feeling somewhat accomplished, Sato returns his shuriken to his room. Sato sits on his bed, reflecting on his training for the day. He is very sore and tired, but feels a great sense of accomplishment, having completed his training for the day. He sits, wondering whatwhat to do next. His thoughts drift to the father that he never knew. Who was he? What was he like? Sato doesn't even know his name.
