Kureji had decided to walk and join a ship. He actually doesn't know where it's going to port, but with all the... lack of excitement as he left Sand, maybe a change of pace can get him more motivated. Many of the crew members staggered back as they looked in disbelief of how he looked. Even in ninja terms, Kureji looked more monster than human. Or rather, a monster made to partially resemble a human. The glowing blue orbs would shift to one uneasy sailor to the next before he would give them all a bored look and watched as they started to scream out in terror of things that are not there. Some of them died. While others decided to abandon ship altogether as the ship was already a good distance out from land, they might as well have had their life forfeit.
Kureji would give a sly smile to the ones that had toughed it out as the ship had set sail to coordinates unknown to him.
