Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Part 1

In the year 2XX, most if not all of Suna went above Around 50 or so years ago. The thing that was causing the Diamond Maelstrom was now dead and Sunagakure moved back to the surface, creating a practical utopia up on the surface while still having this sprawling city underground. But the ruins of the old village, the pieces that had not been relocated above ground still remain below the newly built Suna. The Ruins of Old Suna now house creatures, criminals, those trapped in poverty and those that refused to make the transition above ground.

This ruin is where I lived! Migi Jakki - also known as speedy. What do I do down here you may be asking yourself. Well I am one of those friendly neighborhood tech guy or weapons engineers if you wanna call me that too. So here's what's shaking, basically I’m down here at this rundown weapons shop fixing up whatever I can find as well as a few things my crew sends down here for me to fix up. After dealing mostly in tools in my spare time, I decided to focus most of my time in making weapons since tools are just a thing people rarely use nowadays. So I decided to focus my crafting skills in making weapons, my speciality, ranged weapons of course. Need puppet arms with built in swords in them? No problem. Want a big ass gun? Piece of cake. Sword gun? Hell yeah. Could even make a few melee fighting weapons if you come right here just for my kind of fighting, I prefer just a little distance between me and my opponent. Besides, guns are a powerful tool if you wanna intimidate people because they are fast. One pull, bam! You’re dead. Blades were too slow for my taste and ninjutsu did just a bit too much damage for it to do the job of intimidating people. Plus guns were way cooler, everyone knew that or at least in my opinion were just more badass.

But enough about guns, let's get to the meat of the matter here. I’m over here in my shop, messing with some augmentations that I was adding to a little project that I was working on while playing a little synthpop song in the background. A little feel good song about creating your own light, as girly as girly gets but there was enough doom outside. Why not lighten up the place with a little pop?

Bobbing my head to the beat of the song while I worked with the radio screaming this song on repeat, that was when I started to hear some actual screaming from outside which made me roll my eyes as I began using my welding tool to melt a gun and a bayonet together so it could be used for fighting from afar or in close quarters combat Though the yelling that was starting cut into the feel-good vibes that I was trying make with the song was starting to get a bit too much for me to ignore. With a loud sigh, I picked up my shotgun then I began heading to the front door. Pumping it just to hear that satisfying chick-chick sound as I opened the door to my rundown weapons shop to see a few goons covering Lucky while she was smacking around some succubi looking broad who was yelling because the rabbit had the working girl by the horn. This was more than enough to get my interest since not only was there a cat-fight going on but if the boss was involved in smacking around someone there had to be a story behind it. Among the goons was Fin, my best sharkman friend and possibly the easiest person to talk to since most of the goons here I had no idea about.

Walking up to Fin, I gave him a little tap on the shoulder to get his attention and he turned to me. “Aye Speed, you seeing this?” he lowered himself down to whisper to me.

“Yeah.stretch a lobe with me and tell me what's up.” I said, using a little slang that I learned from a comic book that I had read.

“Home girl is just into some shit with Lucky.” Fin explained, keeping one of his fish eyes on the situation unfolding in front of him while the other was trained on me. “She was working with these ally's without asking the Queen Rabbit, it's been happening for like weeks now with these strange girls working on Lucky's turf-” turning his full attention to the scene unfolding in front of them, Fin shrugged. Guess Lucky like… had enough of it.”

Now that I was all caught up to speed on what was happening, we both kept our mouths shut to just watch how this plays itself out. Smacking the succubi again, Lucky raised her finger to the working girl before growling through clenched teeth, clearly getting tired of interrogating the prostitute and was about ten seconds away from having her goons rough the bitch up. “I’m gonna ask you this one more time thot, then I’m gonna get these boys over here to break your legs! Who the fluff sent you to work on my block!?” she finally decided to use her goons as a threat to get the girl talking. While me and Fin were as friendly looking- or at the very least we looked like we had some. The guys around us weren't as friendly looking, heck there was even this hulking tiger man who was licking his maw and began telling the goons around him how much he would want a piece of that. That right there was cringe worthy and if need be I would have to step up because Tigerman over here was a bit too predatory for Migi’s taste.

It was a miracle but the prostitute finally gave up who the pimp was that had her working on Luckys turf “I-it was Saburou! Saburou goddammit!

“There we go, my hand was starting to sting from rearranging your ugly mug, thot. Fin! Speed!” Lucky hissed then snapped her fingers which made the two stand up straight when hearing the commanding voice of the rabbit. “Show that son-of-a-hare what happens when you mess with Luckys money. Send me that message and yall get 30k in yen each.”

With the bounty placed on old Saburou, Lucky looked down at the succubi. “Leave the thot to me….”

Clearing my throat, I decided that I had to speak up since we did need her for one thing. “Hey Lucky. Shouldn’t she be tagging along with us since she would know like… where Saburou lives or hangs out at.” I said which made Lucky relax her grip on the prostitute's horn to give me a stern look. “Look, she knows the john better than me or Fin do. Neither of us are anbu so if you want this lesson to be taught in the next 24 hours rather than waiting days for something let us take the thot with us. Why eat crumbs when you can use it as bait for the big fish yanno?”

That was enough to make Lucky pause for a moment to think, looking back at the frighten eyes of the succubi with her face scrunched up as though to say ‘you got lucky this time’ before rudely snatching her hand away from the prostitutes horn then looking the succubi up and down. “Y’all got 24 hours or you mother-fluffers ain’t getting shit!” she screamed at the succubi loud enough to make her jolt.. mostly due being sprayed by spit and that Lucky’s breath was as funky as James Brown’s music. Lucky left without another word along with the rest of her goons, tigerman feeling the need to creepily stroke the succubus's chin before going into the building to keep Lucky's office guarded. That touch made me and Fin cringe.

Fin stepped up, bending down to the prostitute’s level to apologize, clearing his throat first. “Ahem.. As a high ranking goon of this gang, I would like to be the first to give you a grand apology for the thoughts and conduct of the tigerman.” Fin said gently. “Me and speedy here respect all women. Yanno number sign girl power and we also appreciate everything that you do for our underground city as an escort. You… are really making the world a better place miss….. Miss….”

Fin! Why are you simping right now....” I held my head, already feeling the beginnings of a headache coming on.

“You see, now that is what we don’t do. Please excuse my friend's toxic masculinity, he is still learning my ways. Please if you could lead the way....” Fin said, trying to play the good thug in our little dynamic.

The escort seemingly had gotten comfortable enough to at least talk to us, her face was still a pinkish grey from being smacked around by Lucky but that didn't stop her from trying to put the moves on Fin. "Well~ sweetie if you want that information what cha gonna do for me?"

Fin gave her a maniacal shark smile, already going into his pocket to see if he had any cash on him but me already seeing the con– I got in between them then, looked at the escort. "How about we assure that you don't get smacked up by Lucky or your pimp for that matter."

The succubus would then roll her eyes at me. "You suck, fine let's go but you guys better protect me."

"Sure, you got a name. Honestly the only nick I can come up Lickitty but that sounds–" she cut me off before I could say anything else.

"Lickitty? That's fire!"

"Lickitty it is then."

"How about–" Fin was trying to come up with a nickname himself but me and Lickitty both cut Fin off by both yelling 'No' to him. Once it was settled that the escort's new name was Lickitty we all began to head down to the red light district where.

Part 2
The Red Lights, along with the Black Bazaar, was another place left in the old ruins of Suna, underneath the new iteration of the village. The Black Bazaar, at least to my standard of living, wasn't really as bad of a place as The Red Lights. Sure, there's a problem with human trafficking there plus the territorial gangs that lurk around the Black Bazaar but the Red Lights was a place that you can get three day old donuts for about a yen and get some cheap booze. Of course, you can get some company around here for just like two yen but you know if you want a pretty hooker around here it won't be that cheap. Walking down the red light district, I had my shotgun in my hands so I could watch our backs. Fin was lumbering with his head down looking down at the succubus leading them to where her John's base had been. I caught a couple of the locals looking at us but they looked worried or intimidated by us. Guess it's because of me and my boy Fin looked like tough guys obviously looking for trouble. A smirk came to my lips at how these dirty bums looked at us, intimated by our sheer presence but now wasn't the time to be selling wolf tickets to some easily frightening homeless people.

"There it is." said Lickitty right on cue, pointing towards a distorted version of some kind of oriental restaurant that her John supposedly owned. There were a couple guards out in front of the place, ushering in a rando after they read through a list that they had.

Ducking into an alley, all three of us squatted tactically to keep ourselves low. "What's the plan, how are we gonna do this?" I said, my tone serious because we got like 24 hours to get this shit done so we could get paid.

"Alright Speed, here's how we are going to do this." Fin growled while slamming his fist into his hand, proceeding to give a plan that even I would be interested in doing. "I say we take the streets to them and go straight BLASTING! We whack some of the tough guys, say to Saburou 'Welcome to the Gutter,' and we all kick the shit out of him. Sounds good?"

Perfection! I could always count on Fin to make a plan that everyone could do. "Good, Lickitty you good with a boom-pop? We need more guns out there if we are going in Rambo." Going inside of my jacket, I pulled out a pistol to give to Lickitty along with a few magazines in case they needed to reload; but when she got the weapon, Lickitty was having some doubts about this wonderfully thought out plan.

"YO-YO-YO-YO-YO-YO! That plan is straight dead ass whack!" she yelled which already started to make my head hurt because the plan was genius. "How about we split up, me n' Fin go in through the front. Say he's wanting to buy me off or some shit while you sneak around the back and–"

"Welcome to the Gutter!"

Crack!
Whack!

And then there was enraged screaming.

Both me and Lickitty peeked out of the alley to see Fin standing over the remains of a couple of the guards. Fin was already walking inside, getting shot up by some ice needless on the way in which didn't find a way to pierce through the tough skin of the shark man.

'Damnit Fin, you weren't supposed to say that until after we got home boy.' I thought, pumping my shotgun once and preparing myself for full-on war with these goons. "Ain't no turning back now Lickitty, you either face these guys head on or run. Your choice." There was nothing else to say after that, I just started to make a break for it to the entrance of the building. Honestly I was expecting it to be just me and Fin in this firefight; but as soon as I entered the building with my shotgun pointed inside of the restaurant– Lickitty had my back with her pistol pointing at a corner that I wasn't guarding.

Just as soon as we entered, an ice shuriken was tossed at us before crashing into the wall beside us making the doorway look much larger. I ran over to a table, quickly flipping it over before aiming my weapon at the guy who tried to ice us on the way in and fired in which I missed my target but I did manage to cause the chair to splinter into a million pieces. "Motha–" was all I could say before Lickitty took a shot at the guy who was about to attack me, hitting him square in the chest sending the goon down before planting another shot into the goons face when they went down.

Crash!

"Here they come boys!" Fin yells as more goons in suits came out of the backroom while the cooks and some half-nude girls were running away from the seating room. One of those goons got me good with an ice needle to the shoulder when I pumped a new shell into the chamber, it had me stumble like I was punched which made me miss when I fired my weapon at the goon trying to get me. Another goon gave Lickitty a nasty flesh wound to the thigh, this combined with the wound I just got made me angry enough to start blasting one of my explosive rounds at one of the punks however it wasn't a close range shot so my weapon didn't obliterated the punk but it sure did look like I wounded him. I saw the guy trying to weave hand seals, so I shot at his hands– blowing off a few of the man's fingers which made him scream in pain as he saw the damage that he took.

Lickitty tried to shoot at one of the goons but the gun jammed and she just straight tossed it then started to make hand seals. Four blades of emotions appeared then charged forward to one of the goons that gave her the flesh wound; slicing through the guy's chest before they could even process exactly what was happening. Fin slammed both fists together, having enough of these goons hurting the homies so he went at the goons that tried to take both me and Lickitty out so he could deliver a powerful blow to two of the goons. A blow so powerful that it sent the goons flying backwards making them crash right into the wall. Fin would then rush in again before the goons could recover and then began to rain down more blows on them! Each punch making a loud crunching sound due to the raw hulking strength of the shark man brutally bludgeoning these two poor goons to death.

Seeing Fin as the real threat two of the goons turned their attention to the shark man who was now standing over two of the dead goons with his hands bloodied from their caved in faces and began throwing ice needles at him– the moment when the ice needles missed the shark man that was when was no hope of winning so they started to retreat to the backroom. I tried to take a few shots at them with my weapon however I only succeeded in blowing up more table's. Fin ran through the wall kool-aid man style and grabbed on to the goons that had been struggling behind due to his wounds, finishing him off with a rough slam into a nearby wall. Meanwhile, the goons who were still booking it sounded the firing alarm as we chased them down. "Hey! You two! Stop!" I yelled while shooting at them.

They ran into a dead end when they came to a door and they began knocking on the door frantically. Already smelling the blood in the water per say, Fin rushed forward and the two screamed seeing the massive shark man charging them!

Booooooom

Fin crashed through the door! Hitting, tearing and chomping on whatever was around him when he tumbled down the stairs into the basement. He fought until the two goons stopped screaming.

Me and Lickitty made our way down the stairs to see that Fin already took care of the goons that were causing us trouble but we had another problem on our hands. The room that Fin tumbled down into was actually the office to some hotshot who already had a couple of guards waiting on us. My first reaction was to point my weapon at the guy sitting at the desk to gain an edge over the group. Lickitty seeing the guards about to draw their swords would react just as quickly as I did and throw off four of those emo blades near their necks so if they made one sudden movement their heads would be clipped off just as easily as a gardener clipping dead roses with a pair of scissors.

"Fin, you alright?" I yelled, not taking my eyes off the dude in the seat and even pumping in a new shell for my weapon. "Looks like you busted your shit there man."
