Kumomi needed to start to expand her understanding of the human body. She was becoming a Med-Nin after all and with this she needed to maximize her knowledge to maximize not only her usefulness but also her strength. The young girl decided to start studying by going to the Scroll Locker to make copies of scrolls that she would then study intensively for weeks. Under her long black dress the kunoichi had numerous caterpillar puppets awaiting to be used as storage devices. The young knowledge seeker made her way from her residence to the academy at a rather brisk pace. She needed to know more. As she approached the academy she could see children playing ninja. She laughed a little bit before continuing her way down the corridors and to the Scroll Locker. It seemed like just yesterday she was a child here first learning how to control a basic marionette without any traps or weapons installed. She shook her head, no time to reminence, she had to find out more.
Kumomi was becoming addicted to learning. The rate in which she studied increased more and more everyday. Ever since her attack she had this gut feeling that if she knew more that she would be able to stop anything like that from happening to her again. Once she made her way to the scroll locker the young girl smiled. The smell of old scrolls made her smile. This room was filled with lifetimes worth of knowledge, something that she wished she could learn. Raising her hand as she made her way to a study table she summoned forth thousands of Micro-Mosquitoes to fly through the room to find information that she wanted to know. Three scrolls came off of the shelves and floated towards the girl.

Kumomi's eyes skimmed the scrolls and she smiled. The puppeteer pulled out a three caterpillars and laid one on each of the scrolls. Art of the Micro-Puppet: Caterpillar Copy Jutsu Chakra surged from a single handseal and towards the puppets, activating their only function, copying. Blue chakra started to glow on the pages and appeared to start to summon translucent sheets to peel off of the paper and wrapping around the varying puppets. As the chakras began to glow and wrap the puppets the caterpillars slowly began to look more and more like cocoons. She let out a deep breath and pushed away from her table.
As Kumomi stepped up from her seat she let out a sigh and stretched. Without realizing it a half hour had probably passed since entering the scroll locker. Though that wasn't really a lot of time passed it seemed like she had just arrived. She probably got lost in reading the scrolls before actually performing her jutsu. Piercing emerald eyes began to scroll through the room trying to find somehting fun to read while she awaited for the cocoons to be fully formed. The young ninja found something that interested her. In what seemed to be a special section she could see a large book sitting on its own in a pretty fancy binding. Kumomi smiled. A caterpillar had it's name on this book. What ever was in there was going to be hers. As she approached this large tome she saw the name of it. Annals of the Conqueror. What an odd name. she opened the book to see a language she didn't recognize.
The book felt cool to the touch, but then it began to glow. A sigil like source of chakra began to emerge from the book and appeared around the girl. Energy spiraled around her and she began to know. Her eyes filled with tears and a smiled crept on her face. She knew. The information in this book flooded the mind of the aspiring mednin and as if rewriting the actual synapses of her brain she began to fully understand her speech, but in a new way. Runic Terran. This was the word for this new knowledge. As the information finalized and completed its forced download into the mind of the puppeteer the young girl fell back. The energy was gone and she knew.

|The Cardiovascular System said:The cardiovascular system is sometimes called the blood-vascular, or simply the circulatory, system. It consists of the heart, which is a muscular pumping device, and a closed system of vessels called arteries, veins, and capillaries. As the name implies, blood contained in the circulatory system is pumped by the heart around a closed circle or circuit of vessels as it passes again and again through the various "circulations" of the body.
As in the adult, survival of the developing embryo depends on the circulation of blood to maintain homeostasis and a favorable cellular environment. In response to this need, the cardiovascular system makes its appearance early in development and reaches a functional state long before any other major organ system. Incredible as it seems, the primitive heart begins to beat regularly early in the fourth week following fertilization.
The vital role of the cardiovascular system in maintaining homeostasis depends on the continuous and controlled movement of blood through the thousands of miles of capillaries that permeate every tissue and reach every cell in the body. It is in the microscopic capillaries that blood performs its ultimate transport function. Nutrients and other essential materials pass from capillary blood into fluids surrounding the cells as waste products are removed.
Numerous control mechanisms help to regulate and integrate the diverse functions and component parts of the cardiovascular system in order to supply blood to specific body areas according to need. These mechanisms ensure a constant internal environment surrounding each body cell regardless of differing demands for nutrients or production of waste products.
|The Nervous System said:The nervous system is the major controlling, regulatory, and communicating system in the body. It is the center of all mental activity including thought, learning, and memory. Together with the endocrine system, the nervous system is responsible for regulating and maintaining homeostasis. Through its receptors, the nervous system keeps us in touch with our environment, both external and internal.
Like other systems in the body, the nervous system is composed of organs, principally the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and ganglia. These, in turn, consist of various tissues, including nerve, blood, and connective tissue. Together these carry out the complex activities of the nervous system.
The various activities of the nervous system can be grouped together as three general, overlapping functions:
Millions of sensory receptors detect changes, called stimuli, which occur inside and outside the body. They monitor such things as temperature, light, and sound from the external environment. Inside the body, the internal environment, receptors detect variations in pressure, pH, carbon dioxide concentration, and the levels of various electrolytes. All of this gathered information is called sensory input.
- Sensory
- Integrative
- Motor
Sensory input is converted into electrical signals called nerve impulses that are transmitted to the brain. There the signals are brought together to create sensations, to produce thoughts, or to add to memory; Decisions are made each moment based on the sensory input. This is integration.
Based on the sensory input and integration, the nervous system responds by sending signals to muscles, causing them to contract, or to glands, causing them to produce secretions. Muscles and glands are called effectors because they cause an effect in response to directions from the nervous system. This is the motor output or motor function.
[/col3]The Skeletal Structure said:Humans are vertebrates, animals having a vertabral column or backbone. They rely on a sturdy internal frame that is centered on a prominent spine. The human skeletal system consists of bones, cartilage, ligaments and tendons and accounts for about 20 percent of the body weight.
The living bones in our bodies use oxygen and give off waste products in metabolism. They contain active tissues that consume nutrients, require a blood supply and change shape or remodel in response to variations in mechanical stress.
Bones provide a rigid framework, known as the skeleton, that support and protect the soft organs of the body.
The skeleton supports the body against the pull of gravity. The large bones of the lower limbs support the trunk when standing.
The skeleton also protects the soft body parts. The fused bones of the cranium surround the brain to make it less vulnerable to injury. Vertebrae surround and protect the spinal cord and bones of the rib cage help protect the heart and lungs of the thorax.
Bones work together with muscles as simple mechanical lever systems to produce body movement.
Bones contain more calcium than any other organ. The intercellular matrix of bone contains large amounts of calcium salts, the most important being calcium phosphate.
When blood calcium levels decrease below normal, calcium is released from the bones so that there will be an adequate supply for metabolic needs. When blood calcium levels are increased, the excess calcium is stored in the bone matrix. The dynamic process of releasing and storing calcium goes on almost continuously.
