Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mitsuha had found herself standing at the top of Hokage Rock. It has been a long while since she has been here, but her memories of the place along with all that has happened remains despite her losing her humanity. As elegant as she is, there is an air of uneasiness around her. People could very well be captivated by her looks, but if they had looked on too long, they might grow queasy, trying to figure out what about her is unnerving to them. It is for the simple fact that she is no longer a human.

There is a saying going around, that some people know of when it comes to a phenomenon when meeting something human like but has the uneasy feeling that even though it has a human face, doesn't necessarily mean that it is a human. They call it the Uncanny Valley. It surely doesn't help for the fact that Mitsuha is near emotionless as she had lost it all when she became a human puppet. Nevertheless, most people, although in awe of her, have steered clear of her, as if she's an unknown.

Unknown... It is something that many people fear because they simply cannot comprehend what will happen. Something that is beyond their own control. Is that what Mitssuha is? The jounin is surely still figuring out her own newfound powers as she can make puppets out of people too, though she only will do so from criminals to avoid any complications from doing such practices. Mitsuha merely sighed as she leaned over the guardrail to stare out at the sunset thinking back on her memories here. It was surely a mix of things. But despite it all that had made her into a strong kunoichi, she had left that life behind when she sought out revenge for the people that had killed her parents.

Tsuki knew the agreement he'd made with his other half wasn't exactly the safest, but he felt it was necessary for them to build trust in each other to make this living situation work. It was weighing on his mind quite a bit, though. He decided a walk with fresh air would do him some good. He dressed himself in his own clothing for this venture, given he didn't feel the looming presence of the one who shared his mind. A thin lilac top with sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a pair of loose joggers later, Tsuki was out the door on his venture through the city.

"Where should we go today?" he voiced to no one but himself. It was weird how familiar he'd become to hearing Keiko respond to him. When his counterpart was silent, Tsuki felt a loneliness he wasn't aware he was experiencing until recent. With a small laugh at his own unusual thoughts, he looked up to the faces of Hokage from before his time. He made his way towards it, wondering what their lives were like in this village before he stumbled upon it. I only hope I can make a positive story here rather than a negative one. His thoughts had been oddly sentimental lately, especially in regards to the place he considered his home. If it weren't for Nao, he likely wouldn't have survived Keiko's aggressive hunger for very long.

His thoughts kept him busy all the way until he reached the top of the Rock, surprising himself with how little of the trip he remembered. Usually those memory gaps only happened when Keiko was near, but he was sure he was alone currently. With a shrug to himself, he observed the view from above. It wasn't until his eyes scanned across the landscape that he noticed another person standing atop the large landform not too far from him. Should I say something? Tsuki rubbed his sleeved arm, right over where his cult brand rested, something he often did when he found himself nervous. He wanted to make friends, given the people he knew before his isolation of three years had left him and Nao behind.

"Hello there," he started, clearing his throat a little and looking out at the sunset to avert his gaze. Too awkward, maybe even too forward. Why do I suck at this? With a deep breath, he let the warmth of the evening air settle his nerves as he moved a bit closer and tried again, this time with less of a tremor in his voice. "Hi, sorry, I don't get out much." A nervous laugh left him, and he leaned on the railing a few feet from the other. "Nice view though. I never saw something this beautiful until I moved here."
