Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kenki moved quietly along the pass, a black cloak wrapped tightly around her. A small flame flickered between her hands, throwing shadows across her face. She let out a long sigh, her breath turning to vapour in the cold air. She hated being on land, everything was so...still and motionless. She longed for the feeling of the shifting deck beneath her feat. Unfortunately, business required her to meet a contact inside Cloud, so she was stuck on land. She slowed as she approached the gates, unsure of how to deal with the guards.

[Requesting Entrance]

It was a cold morning, to say the least. Even compared to most other Kumogakurian mornings, this one seemed... oddly cold. It was weird. The below-freezing temperatures combined with the above cloud-layer village made for some interesting weather. See, it never really... rained. Or snowed. Or anything'd. It was kinda boring, actually, so when something actually changed, it was noted.

Saki happened to note this personally, and worried profusely Fire Light Hydrangeas he'd planted not far from the village gate. They were meant to survive cold temperatures, but even this was a little extreme! What would he do without them? He couldn't lose them! As such, he decided that transplanting them into his shop would be the safest option. However, as he was working in and around them, a cloaked stranger came to the village gates. Saki looked up at the ANBU, waving them off to signify that he would take care of it and make their workload easier. After all, all Chuunin were taught how to work the gates.

"Hello, cloaked one." Saki greeted with a pleasantly high voice. "I assume you wish to enter our village? I'll need some kind of identification, and a reason for entering, first."

Kenki dug around in her bag, feeling for the papers by touch, her eyes never leaving the shinobi. Her weapons were tucked deeply away, concealed against all but the most thorough search but she didn't think she would need them. If things did go badly here, the lives of a few guards were nothing to a pirate queen. She straightened as she handed her papers to the man, her expression dull and bored.

"Akumairo Kenki, just here to do business...shouldn't be here for more than a day or two..."

Saki casually took the identification papers and checked out the various information detailed on them, including the name and picture of the traveller. The picture matched up, and the name was what she said it was. She said that her reason for being here was 'business'. Saki looked up from his paper and gave a bit of a blank stare for a second or two.

"Yes... but I need to know what business. It's just protocol, nothing against you." he said.

His mind started to drift back to his the patch of flowers. he really just wanted to take care of them.

[[Apologies for the delay, work has been hectic]]

Kenki sighed, of course he wanted to know her business. Typical, everyone just had to know everything.

"Export, just here to work out a trade deal."

She crossed her arms, looking the picture of a bored and busy ship captain. Typical of the shinobi villages, bureaucracy and paranoia taking over everything. She just wanted to get in the village so she could get going again.

Saki eyed the traveler with a hint of suspicion, but passed it off. Kumogakure had its share of imports and exports, limited as they may have been. He returned the paperwork to the sheeted lady, and gave a slight smile.

"Well, may your travels be safe. Welcome to Kumogakure."

With that, the young botanist went back to tending the sensitive flowers he'd originally came out to do. With any luck, he'd be able to save them... but he really wasn't sure, and that worried him.
