Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Tomo trudged along the path, his eyes lightly glazed over. It had been a long few days...productive...but long. He rolled up the sleeve on his right arm and looked at the new black symbol. "I take it that's not going to be coming off." It wasn't that he was unhappy with the mark, considering it was proof that he'd gained the trust of the Toads. He just worried what image he'd be creating for himself if any of his fans found out about it. He didn't know how well he could pull off the 'bad boy' persona.

As the gates came into view, Tomo remembered the promise he'd made to Sei. His eyes lifted to his missing bangs, then to the many scratches his body had sustained while fighting the giant insects. Not to mention he could feel the bug guts covering the back of his neck. He shivered thinking about it as he finally reached the gates. He pulled out his credentials and lifted them for whomever was at the gate to see. "Mochizuki Tomo. Rising....you know what? Not today. I just want a bath please."

Hunger had struck. It was unlike Anatsu to be present at a foreign gate but he needed to find money or food. The gate was the best place to find a walking traveler and perhaps, one with left over food that he no longer wanted... and perhaps a weaker target to steal his money. Anatsu had yet to steal but times were getting tough.

"Hello there. Do you have any food or money Im starving."

The Nuke Ninja was dressed like a begger, well, because he was one.

Gate Guard - Ikaruga Shinya

Shinya sat upon the railing lining the top of the gates, watching over the passage leading up to them for any signs of travelers. Of course, there were travelers that came and went all the time throughout the day, so he knew he wouldn't be sitting there long. It was his turn to handle the next visitor. Aside from that, an odd man was loitering around the gates watching people that passed him on their way to the gates, seemingly struggling with some internal battle. He hadn't bothered anybody yet, which was why nobody had bothered him.

At last, a fair-haired boy approached the gates, seemingly a shinobi, seeking to be let back inside. He held up his passport, hoping to attract a gate guard to handle his entry. He looked slightly worse for the wear, probably do to whatever mission he undertook outside of the village. Yet, before any guard could approach him, the even more ragged looking stranger did first, asking for food or money. Behind Shinya, a gate guard returned from a take-out food joint with several meals for the guards who were present. This included Shinya, though he was not terribly hungry at the moment. It was an opportunity to convenient to pass up. Taking his meal from the guard, he thanked him before returning to the railing and hopping over it.

He landed beside Tomo and Anatsu, taking the credentials from Tomo's hand to check them for legitimacy. As he read them, he handed the warm container of ramen over to Anatsu without parting his eyes from the papers in front of him. "Here, you can have this," he said as he continued to read. Despite his harsh looking eyes, he was actually somewhat kind. After a moment or two of checking, he verified that Tomo was permitted to enter and handed the papers back. "Alright, go on in," he said to Tomo, allowing the boy to be on his way after what he was sure was a tiring adventure.

If the other man was satisfied with his food, Shinya would return to the gate to continue with his duties.

Tomo's tired eyes fell to the beggar beside him, blankly scanning the man. Tomo was by no means naive when it came to such things. Sometimes beggars were more than they seemed, sometimes they were completely honest. However, at the moment, Tomo's brain just wasn't working properly, mainly due to the lack of sleep. Tomo was about to open his mouth to speak when a gate guard came down to check his credentials, as well as to give the beggar a hot meal. Tomo's base instinct was to grab the meal for himself and devour it on the spot. There was just something about being covered in bug guts while sleep-deprived that made a person go somewhat primeval. Luckily, every other part of Tomo screamed for him to behave himself, and so as soon as he was checked out, the blonde began to drag his feet into the village. He muttered a light thanks before passing the gates and heading straight for the public bathhouse.
