After a short car ride, Kitsune and Rei arrived at where the airship was parked. Signalling the staff on board, she was able to drive directly into the hold and park the car. Once parked, the staff began the process of securing it for the flight so it wouldn't slide about in the hold in case of turbulence.
Then, Kitsune made her way to the bridge, and set the course towards Kumogakure, before unceremoniously tossing herself into one of the big soft recliners, sinking into the soft leather with a sigh. Finally. The trip home could begin...

It had been a grand trip. One of many memories that the Sennin would treasure for many years to come. Konoha had always been a backwoods in her head, and really, why wouldn’t she think that? Kumogakure was the pinacle of technological wonder - everywhere seemed like a backwoods in comparison! However her time in the humid lands of Fire gave her a firm appreciation for the simply things once again; as well as a newfound respect for Leaf Shinobi. They did well to hold their own, had a lot of pride, and knew how to have a good time without all the wonders of Cloud Country. It really gave Rei some fresh thoughts to work on with her clan’s farm, and a better understanding on why the elders were so against placing technology onto the crops. Some ways were just better off being done in the old styles.

The Ryuu made herself comfortable near a window as the airship took off, a stack of paper in front of her and a fresh ink well as he began to get started on catching up. Some things she would could just jot down, sign, and hand off to people the moment she got home to grease the gears back up.
