Ao had been in the Hidden Sand Village for a few months now. He had restocked his supplies, visited some of the local shops and eateries, and even picked up a few souvenirs. Alas, his Sand vacation was coming to an end. The next up on his list of places to go was Leaf, and Ao planned to leave for Leaf today. First things first Ao would have to go through the gates of Sand. While Ao had no issue with Sand or the people that lived here, he had no desire to deal with the bureaucracy today.
Ao made his way to the Dojo that served as the entrance to the Village Hidden in the Sand, and looked over the area. The sun was setting, which was casting a strange purple haze over the Dojo and the land surrounding it. Ao could not see any idle guards in the area, the ones he saw seemed busy and Ao figured it would not be very difficult for him to slip by them. Ao decided to take the time to double check all of his supplies to ensure that he had everything that he needed. He had stocked up on food, water, and booze. He had also purchased an updated map of the surrounding area, on which he had already charted a path to the Hidden Leaf Village.
Ao readied his traveling bag, as well as the many different satchels and holsters that helped him transport the many tools of a Shinobi, and set off quickly into the oncoming darkness of night.
