When Susumu awoke this morning he should have received a letter. Hikudori had decided to find out a little more about Susumu the day after they had met. It was easy to find out where he lived, This letter would entail details for Susumu, to follow a trail of petals within the Elderwoods. He would find this trail near the southern end of the Elder Woods, and a large tree created from the Mokuton Jutsu, would be a marker of sorts. It's where the trail began, and a large amount of white petals would be found at the base of this spiraled tree.
This day, would be a chance used to examine Susumu's combat skills. Hikudori knew that his strategies were out of practice. However he wanted to put Susumu through a grinder, and test his battling abilities. If he wasn't sufficient enough, then this trip could definitely be more dangerous than they had anticipated. He wanted to get this thing done quickly and uninterrupted so this was definitely the best place that they could battle in.
He had everything prepared for battling, like he normal did. A simple spar with shinobi such as themselves was never that simple. If he planned on defeating Akujin Susumu he would have to destroy whatever boundaries his psyche withheld. A flash of memories came into his own mind. He saw the starlit lake, shimmering in beauty. It was wonderful beyond anything one could ever perceive. However in the middle of this sparkling teal lake a deep crimson light glowed giving this colorful scene a hint of gray. "Blood wrapped within a veil of uncertainty". Hiku could not figure out this scene or even where it came from. When he tried to focus on it a haze rose within his head making him flail intensely.
His eyes opened, coming back to reality. Small rolls of sweat dropped off of his face each one splashing onto his chest. "Another daydream about that lake. I wonder where it came from, I was there recently right? What was I doing there..." He stood now wiping the sweat from his head. The thoughts of the Djinn were certainly passing but these thoughts were something fresher still unknown. With a deep breath Hiku would go over his check list slowly.
"Petals, check. Poisons, check. Choice of genjutsu, check..." He would continue to ramble out loud about his many dry layers of battle strategies.
