Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

To Mingle with the Enemy
[col]Gentle footsteps were heard entering the hotsprings. The quiet sounds of 'tsh' could be heard with each footfall of the woman entering the hotsprings. A beautiful woman bearing long black hair falling down to her lower back, deep prussian blue eyes, and a noticeable gem embedded into her forehead. After taking a few steps into the hotspring, the woman stopped and glanced at the pool of water to see if anyone else was already inside. The woman was covered in dirt and grime, having lived off of the land in Fire Country years after it's downfall.

It was comforting to know that there were no signs of life other than herself here. Such filthy and disgusting creatures humans are. Just the mere thought that she had to be in the same area as one makes her skin crawl. She walked towards the bath itself only to stop at the water's edge. The woman didn't wear a towel over her body, feeling no shame if anyone (even a man) looked at her body. She did have a rather shapely body with all of the running and hunting, that both, she and Kibo did while living off of the land in Fire Country. But with the beauty of her naked body comes the balance of terrible scars riddling her body from the humans who saw her as nothing but meat.

Her reflection in the water betrays her actual appearance. Due to the Hasegawa Curse, her reflection in the water reflected the image of the presiding Cursed Beast that inhabited her soul. The one currently inhabiting her soul was the Cursed Beast of Ruin, Hresvelgr, the Corpse Swallower. Her soul was once occupied by one other spirit, the Phoenix. However, due to the constant conflict between the two parts of balance (the Phoenix representing the light and Hresvelgr representing the darkness) the darkness finally prevailed, have fed off of her broken emotional state after choosing the death of humanity to save the planet and the rest of it's human inhabitants.

The reflection of the abominable creature appeared to flap it's wings with each ripple in the water. Closing her eyes, the woman took a step into the warm water with her left foot. The sensation of her muscles instantly loosening along with the long and forgotten feeling of creature comforts came back to Mana. While she enjoyed living out in nature with the rest of the natural world and all of her creations, she still does enjoy the little things in life like hot water.|

The rest of her body followed until she was submerged up to her bust. Her reflection still appeared to be the creature, with the middle section mimicking and following Mana's face as she turned her head, having the solitary eye in the reflection match the movement of her own eyes. Throwing her elbows onto the embankment behind her, she closed her eyes and let out a loud sigh of relief. She sat there for a moment and then turned her head to look towards the outside of the Hotspring.

"Kibo, it's safe to come," Mana said clearly. In an instant, a large animal appeared at Mana's side just outside of the pool of warm water. It sat adamantly by her side. Though, the creature doesn't know the comforting feeling of the hot springs and never knew how to relax. However, since Mana saved him from poachers those years ago, it devoted itself to the protection of the one that gave it a chance to live. Kibo's loyalty was fierce and not one that can waiver. Mana splashed some of the warm water onto Kibo's back, causing it to slightly curl it's back. It wasn't expecting it from it's master, but the water felt good to the hardened creature.

Yumeko had decided to head to the hot spring after she had done several errands, the first, of which, included bringing Mana to an Inn. Though a while had passed, she finally had the time to head to the hot spring, in which she would quickly make her way to her destination. As she made her way to the changing room, she would grab a towel, as well as stripping off her clothes, before wrapping the towel around her and walking out to the hot spring.

As she stepped out of the changing room, she had noticed that Mana and her animal friend had gotten there before she did. She hadn't the slightest clue on how long they had been there, but she didn't much care at the moment. Her silver hair was fully down, as well as the green ribbons that held two braids in their usual braided formation, were removed. Yumeko removed her towel as she stepped into the hot spring, slowly. "How do you like the village so far, Mana-chan?" She asked, smiling a bit.

She hoped that Mana was, relatively, liking cloud so far, considering that she had just arrived that day. "Don't you think that hot springs are just what one needs sometimes?" She asked, trying make some small talk, though she would have waited for Mana to have replied before speaking again. She didn't know what topics interested Mana, so she just tried some small talk. Though what happened with this encounter would be a complete mystery to her.

To Steal the Stars
Kibo took a defensive posture upon hearing another person entering the hotsprings. Mana wasn't too worried about the person who just entered. The water put her in a good place, even though the sight of her reflection may give her nightmares from time to time, the relative warmth of the water made her think of home. No matter how much of the material world or the ties she had severed with her home in the past, it is difficult to forget it all. The little things in life will always bring her back to the splendor and happiness she felt before she became a victim of her own fate.

Even though she became a victim of her own fate, Mana didn't make her decision on a whim. She truly believes humanity are scum and are a parasite to the planet. The only thing for one to do with a parasite is forcefully remove it from the host or kill it while it is inside the host. Turning her head to look towards Kibo, Mana made a noise to tell it that 'everything is fine'. She highly doubts that anyone would actually attack her or Kibo while in the bath. Unless it's some sort of pervert that wants to fight women while their jibbly-bits are bouncing around. To which point the blood from their heads won't be used for thought processing at that point.

"This village is very nice to look at," Mana said before turning her head up towards the night sky. The stars shined differently at this altitude. "It seems the people here take good care of the natural world around them and do not care as much for ruining the beauty around them as my Homeland did. Who knows, the people in this village may be worthy to inherit the planet's will," Mana simply responded to the woman that guided her around the village for the majority of the day.

"While this place is, most certainly, beautiful and clean, I'm afraid I cannot stay here for too long," Mana replied, before moving her hand up to the heavens and moved her finger towards the stars, outlining each constellation one by one. The sky here was much different than it was in the Fire Country. While she may love the beauty and splendor of Cloud Village, she still has her obligation to persist with.

"One day, humanity will destroy everything beautiful about this village. The beautiful mountains will crumble into dust, the clean air will grow into a dark brown haze, the pristine waters will be stained black, and the forests will be burnt down. Humanity has a habit of destroying things that are precious. Man-made structures will come and go and can be replaced. You cannot replace things that nature has given to us, wouldn't you agree?"[/legend]

Yumeko sat in the hot spring as she waited for Mana's response in which she would listen to. She smiled slightly as Mana had spoken about how the village was very nice to look at, as well as how the people in the village took care of the world around them, and that the people of her homeland did the opposite. As Mana continued with speaking about how the village was beautiful and clean, that she couldn't stay there for too long. Her emotion didn't waver as she listened to Mana soon speak about how one day, humanity would destroy everything that was beautiful about the village. Mana had ended it with a question, in which she would take a moment to answer.

"I feel as if you're only thinking of the darkest aspect of humanity. You're not taking into account there there are some people that aren't like how you're assuming with that... prediction, you just spoke of." She said, lowering herself from the water being just higher than her bust, so that it was just the entirety of her head that was above the water.

The Human Condition
4qiqdv.jpg

Behind these blue eyes is pain that you cannot even fathom.
These eyes have seen the darkness of humanity.

Mana laughs at the words spoken by the woman that was her guide. She looked over her guide's body. It was, indeed, very curvaceous and something that could be desired by both males and females alike. A pity that someone like her resides in such a small village such as this. Something like that should travel the world, perhaps with Mana. However, Mana isn't here for sins of the flesh but to simply relax. Getting wound up by a beautiful sack of flesh, whether it is a male or female, is counter-productive to her visit to the hotsprings.

"You sound just like that other girl I met in the forest. She said that there was good in humanity. However," Mana said as she raised her left arm over the water, showing the scars given to her by the so-called 'good humans'. With everything Mana has experienced and the wicked people she has met, she had no other choice but to look at the darkness within the human heart. Mana moved her other hand over to her scarred arm and placed her hand upon her shoulder and wiped away the dirt and blood from her body, staining the water with a dark brown mixture of the two.

Mana turned to look towards the woman in the hot springs with her. Her blue eyes pierced through the darkness, as if they emitted their own light. A little glimmering could be seen coming from the magatama jewel embedded into her forehead. Mana glanced at the woman square in the eyes and spoke to her plainly. "I don't believe you've seen the ugliness of the human heart. The greed and lust for power and wealth at the expense of others and of the planet. Behind the confines of this village, it is easy to say that people and nature have yet to be tortured and ruined by the hands of man," Mana said before looking up to her companion, Kibo.

It, too, was a victim of humanity's greed and lust for wealth. Because of that, Kibo is the only known member of it's species left due to constant poaching of the species for something as petty as it's pelts. The pelts were used for the current fashion trends, selling for top dollar through the black market. Mana raised one of her hands up to pet Kibo's side. The two of them were alone. It was that very fact that kept the two alive.

"Until humanity learns to get along with each other and with the planet, I see them as parasites," Mana stated before looking directly at the woman for a brief moment before turning to look at her companion. "But -you- would never know, bound to the confines of this beautiful prison."[/legend]
