Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yuna stood in the Nimbus Delactatio, leaning up against a tree. The Anbu Sennin was in her regular, non Anbu attire so as to make people assume that she is just another Shinobi rather than an Anbu, much less their Sennin.

With things finally calming down for Yuna to have more time on her hands, she can't help but try to find ways to keep busy even on her days off. She had decided today that she would help out around the Academy. It was there that she heard a name, Kaguya Chika, whom may be struggling to come to terms with her own power.

The Kaguya bloodline is just as ferocious as the Chigokai, so Yuna can relate. Though she never had any issues, her father did. She guessed since there was nobody around to help him, he had to figure things out by himself. No doubt that this girl probably might be in the same boat. So Yuna had made a note, for the young academy student to meet her at the entrance of Nimbus Delactatio. That way, she can see what Chika can do without having to worry about the safety of others.

Kaguya Chika,
Meet me at the entrance of Nimbus Delactatio to help you home your inmate skills of the Kaguya bloodline.

Chigokai Yuna

With the note filled with a small amount of chakra to find its way to its recipient, Yuna wondered if the girl knows anything about the Chigokai bloodline. Yuna herself knows that there is a whole clan here in Cloud, but she hasn't really bothered to even attempt to join the clan. Not that there is bad blood between them. She just doesn't see a reason to.

She would breathe in and sigh as the light breeze of the wind moves her hair slightly into her face.

That light breeze continues to flow through the rest of the Nimbus Delectatio and past Chika as she fusses over her academy outift--garb consisting of clothes more befitting of an office worker rather than an aspiring shinobi. Once she was satisfied with her own appearance, the young Kaguya girl reached in her satchel for the note that someone named Chigoaki Yuna had addressed to her and read it once again. Despite being inexperienced with both her own kekkai genkai and that of the Chigokai clan, she was intrigued by the potential to empower herself through this mysterious woman's training.

"I wonder if I will be able to awaken these abilities finally~" she daydreamed as she approached the Sennin.

"H-hi!" she greeted her potential mentor with a nervous bow. As she rose, her eyes wandered to Yuna's violet hair--a shade not unlike Chika's own highlights. "I really like your hair, Chigokai-senpai."

She then shook her head and bowed profusely. "I'm so sorry! My name is Kaguya Chika, and I received your note this morning."

Yuna smiled softly at the young girl as she sized her up, something that Yuna has done always to never be caught off guard in case of anything goes sideways. "Thank you. And please, just call me Yuna." It was a rare thing that she has ever been complimented about her hair. As unnatural as it is, she was born this way. Some say that fate had a sense of humor, being that her father had blue hair, and her mother with red. Her mind focused back on Chika as she explained that she was here because she had received the note from her this morning.

Yuna would nod. "The reason I had called you out here is to help you hone your own bloodline." She would pause before going on, "Both the Kaguya and the Chigokai bloodlines are often rare, and because of that, many people fear the powers that we possess. One that uses the power to control blood, the other, bone manipulation. Both are powerful and devastating in their own rights. Seeming as there isn't a surplus of folks like us around, I hope you don't mind I take you under my wing for you to help you understand your powers a little bit more."

Again, Yuna would pause, giving the girl time to think this through before she continued on, "The makings of a great ninja doesn't immediately start off with how strong or powerful you are, but it depends solely on your knowledge about yourself and your powers. Once you learn to maximize your own potential, you open infinite amount of doors, only limited by your own creativity. But before we go too deep down the rabbit hole, lemme ask you about the basics of your own bloodline. One of the first abilities that a Kaguya learns is to be able to form a protective armor around themselves for battle known as Ultimate Bone Defense. Have you learned about this technique?"

"Okay, Yuna-senpai!" Chika eagerly exclaimed as she clasped her hands before her and heeded her mentor's every word. Although she didn't consider her family's own kekkai genkai rare at all--after all her mother and grandmother could both manipulate the osteoblasts and osteoclasts within their skeletal structure--it still worried her that there might be a nonzero chance that the Kaguya bloodline would never awaken within her. She fidgeted, her dread evident in her schoolgirl mannerisms; yet she was still hopeful that maybe--just maybe--she would live up to the reputation of her great-great-grandmother and become a powerful asset to the village by mastering her now-latent abilities.

As she continues to listen, she found herself nodding along when Yuna as she mentioned how power and strength weren't necessarily deciding factors in a shinobi's career, but knowledge and expertise of one's own capabilities. And, in a bittersweet sense of irony, Chika knew for certain that she had to even grasp the most fundamental of Kaguya techniques.

"Uh . . . " she considered stalling for time before ultimately sighing and gazing at her feet in shame. "I'm sorry Yuna-senpai; even though I have seen my mother use both the Ultimate Bone Defense and Rapid Healing techniques when she cooks us dinner, I still have no idea how to unlock that potential myself. Do you think you can teach me?"

The bespectacled girl in her formal academy attire looked up eagerly to the Anbu sennin, a glimmer of hope evident in her eyes that maybe she might learn how to be a real Kaguya from a Chigokai.
