Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A few hours prior to the main course, the medical chief navigates through the empty corridors, beginning to become accustomed to teaching within the academy, Mikasa presses forward and slides the door to classroom 3C aside. This particular class room only containing enough room for four students, not the usual setup to boot; this particular boasted flat mats with a single table in front of each. Rummaging through her equipment, the medical chief withdraws an item wrapped in ivory cloth, the bundle no larger than an adults flat palm - proceeding to place identical items on the desktops for the students.

Adjusting her spectacles, the academy instructor settles behind the main desk, awaiting for those willing to participate to arrive. Hopefully, the classroom would fill, however the medical chief would be thrilled if two showed up as the notion of medical classes were often deemed less interesting by the student body. Never the least, she cups her hands gently, allowing her eyes to close to briefly lax the tension and soothe her nerves. After a series of silent minutes, the kunoichi opens her eyes to reveal her oceanic blue optics, a thin grin spreading upon her lips and frame radiating a welcoming warmth.

All those who entered the classroom would feel an odd soothing sensation, the Empathetic projecting an emotional barrier, truly a delightful experience; allowing for the willing to be at peace for even a temporary moment. The poster on the outside of the sliding door read as follows:
Insight to the medical branch, a brief lesson as an honorary Medical Shinobi or Kunoichi for the day! Limited space for a unique experience you will truly never forget. The instructor for the day is none other than the medical chief, probe the mind of the branch leader! Overall class time will be no more than two hours.

[OOC: Total amount of slots for the class, four.]

“Oriryuuuu!!!” The sounds of his father roared through the house. It actually startled him, causing him to fall out his bed and cocoon himself in his covers. His room door being kicked down in a every aggressive fashion. “Get up! You have class today and if your late-” Ori could be heard whining under his cover, he knew he had a medical class today, but he made no promises about going. He told his dad about it, which is where he went wrong, now he had to go. Good thing he was already dressed for it, he went to sleep in school clothes. Better known as his casual attire. He unrolled himself and let out a loud yawn. “Im going, im going. Leave me alone old man!”

His father looked shocked at being called old, he was only thirty-six. “I am not old!” Ori stood up and dusted himself off, before walking pass his father to the front door. “If you say so, well i'll be going. I’ll be back in a few hours, if I learn anything useful i'll let you know.” With that he put on his shoes and left. He took the fastest path he knew, the rooftop. Running through the town street would slow him, he did not know if he was late or on time, he didn't even check the time, he just wanted to get away from his annoying dad.

He landed at the school gate, he followed the formal rules of greeting his senior, this felt almost routine, something he had been doing all year. Thankfully his academy days were coming to a rapid, end. He hated being trapped in this prison, although he had the choice of going or not. He read the plaques along the wall, utile he found the one he was looking for. He slid the door open to see the class was empty, besides from the teacher. He entered and took the seat to the far left, the one closest to the window. “Good Morning.”

It is true that officially Kitsune was already a mednin and thus most would say she doesn’t need this class. However she would care to disagree for a couple of points. For one she is only a mednin because her title from Stone was transferred to Leaf when she registered. In truth she was not a mednin but a shaman, which was some sort of religious off shoot of the medical branch Stone had. Stone had a rather unique culture to say the least. She decided she would join this medical class to find out what the medical branch is like here in Leaf and how it differs from Stone. Thanks to her little endeavor with the young puppet maker Maru, she should fit in rather well without raising any flag as to why she is here. With her new body she definitely looks young enough to be a student in the academy.

Kitsune walks through the hallway that the boy was just in. There was quite a spring in her step as she prepares her instrument. It was a beautiful violin made of clay with strings glowing an emerald green. These strings were not the normal ones found in a violin; it was most certainly not no hair of a horse. They were strings of pure chakra like that used for shinobi puppetry. Her bow glides across the strings back and forth. She made sounds so elegant that one might think she was a master violinist. It was amazing how one to look so young could play so well. It was as if the player and instrument were of one body. She dances to her tune skip and twirling all the way. She finishes her song just in front of the door and reading the little sigh it seems she was in the right place. She places her violin back into its case. She did not need the violin for the class at all, but she has a hard time parting with it. Opening the sliding door she would walk in and greet the teacher. “Salutations.” She then takes a seat next to the boy.

Kitsune looks at the object laying on her desk with the curiosity of a child. There seems to be the same item on each table. So she could assume that this object had something to do with the class. However the question was why was it hidden? The item in question was wrapped for a reason; a surprise of some sort maybe. Like a cat she ever so carefully prods the item, though she uses the eraser end of her pencil to do so. She was not willing to touch the thing directly at least not yet.

Taking notice of the two participants, the medical chief raises a brow at the entrance of the medical-nin, recognizing the file picture of the Shikame woman; never the least Mikasa would choose to pretend to not take notice for the sake of the actual academy student. Truth to be told they had yet to have a real interaction, thus there wouldn't be an issue for the attendance. Rummaging about her arm sleeves, the medical chief withdraws an identical wrapped item, her azure orbs lock against the pair, a warm grin appearing upon her lips - Mikasa's sitting posture perfect. Gently her left hand extends outwards to point towards the items wrapped with her index and middle as to not be rude to her students, "I will begin now, as it appears that not many are interested." she jests, "Before you will be today's lesson and learning tool."

Carefully the older woman turns her attention towards the ivory wrap, tenderly her digits begin to unravel the contents to reveal a stiff creature, a petite fowl - a meadowlark. Hovering the flat of her hand above the lost soul, a vibrant teal aura veils the bird, coating the creature entirely. Allowing her eyes to come to a close, the kunoichi inhales to audibly exhale, allowing her gaze to ajar to reveal the faint edging of crimson. In a matter of moments fluttering and awkward movements ensue as the meadowlark comes to a stand, unsure of the dangers of the room. Silently the woman extends her index outwards as a perch, the creature not quite clear minded enough to notice the difference, lurches forward to take post as the woman heads towards the window.

Sliding the base open, the fowl takes flight to roam the skies once more and the trickling of sunlight catches against her platinum mane as she turns about, "I am Tsukasa Mikasa, head of the medical branch. Today I will be giving you an intro to the medical field. Lets begin learning, shall we?"

[OOC: You may choose any species of bird you wish, as long as it would make sense to fit in a small wrapping.]

He had no idea what this calls would bring. Ori’s knowledge on medical jutsu was slim to none, he knew it was useful, but he never attactly tried to involve himself in it. He had no plans of being a Medical Ninja, but insuring his own survival was important to him. Having some form of understanding in the craft would be beneficial to him down the line. It would allow for him to support not only himself’ but his team mates. Making him less of a liability, not like he was, but he didn't like being the reason why things didn't work out. With time passing he thought he would be the only one, but the sounds of lovely music was drawing near.

A sudden silence as the class door was open, he turned to see who this person was. A girl, a new student? He had never see her before, but he took notice of her violin. Maybe she was looking for a different class, but this would be disproven by her greeting the teacher and than taking a seat next to him. “Agh, why sit next to me, there are so many seats? I hope she aint tryna be friends or something, I rather focus on the class.” He voiced in the confines of his minds while looking at her out the corner of his eye.

His attention than grabbed by the familiar, the teacher he had met just yesterday. She displayed her abilities in quite a magical way, bringing life back into the bird. Maybe it was not dead, but definitely injured. The showing was amazing, he had never seen something like that before, he began to thank of the possibilities. The class was ready to start and he was more interested than ever. He prefered the class having a smaller number of students. It would make the class more personal and hands on.

It seems like only her and one other would be joining the class. The room was small and only had a few seats to begin with, so it was obvious that she was expecting a small group. It is such a shame that medical classes are always so small that it has been become expected. Everyone is always interested in the anbu. Personally she thinks the whole mystery act they give with their dark black robes and animal like masks, it is all just overrated.

The class begins with a show of power as she would call it. The teacher unwraps the item on her desk to reveal a small bird. The bird was more than likely dead as the same as the one on her table. She prodded her bird earlier and got not a single response from it. The cloth did not move in the slightest on her table. There was no signs of breathing and she was not sure how well it could breathe underneath such cloth.

The teacher somehow bring the bird back to life, but she is not sure how. Some form of dark arts maybe or perhaps some form of puppetry. However this was a medical class and thus this had to have been a medical jutsu. The question is which one because she knows not one that could bestow life back to the dead or at least not one that has been long since deceased. She was a little hesitant about unwrapping her item for she did not really want to look at a lifeless bird. True a mednin should be accustom to the passing of life, but Kitsune still has problem keeping such detachment.

Maneuvering about, MIkasa settles between the pair, gesturing towards their wrapped items. Raising her hand upwards, the medical chief begins to envelop her hand in a light teal veil, "The most common medical technique is labeled as mystical hand. This is primarily utilized to mend minor injuries such as bruises and light fractures." the medical kunoichi explains, doing her utmost to ignore the fact Kitsune was a far cry from a newcomer. "In order to understand medical techniques, the basics come from the notion of exerting your chakra through palms to press against the injured, manipulating the regenerative process of one to a degree their body normally can not perform. This type of technique requires great chakra control, because excessive infusion can lead to overall issues to the patient."

Silencing herself momentarily, the maiden streams her digits through her hair, satisfied with the reasoning and logic presented thus far. Delicately Mikasa unravels the Uchiha lads wrapped fowl, proceeding to do the same for medical kunoichi to her direct opposite side, "I do not expect either of you to be able to perform the task directly in the beginning, I will assisting you." she explains the purpose of the class, a bit more advanced than most, however to showcase the marvel of the branch ultimately led to a bit more interest in potential joining. A brief flash of teal would emit from the creatures, a etched seal upon the creatures illuminate, causing the fowls to breathe life once more; however they remain eerily still with a dull look within their eyes.

"Not to fear, we are merely mending a broken wings upon each of them, allowing them to take flight once more. They won't move as they are currently sedated." pausing, she gently halts the duo from performing any unnecessary task, "Foremost, I want you both to attempt to exert your chakra to your hands, even if the slightest amount. Picture within your mind a stream, flowing outwards from your core to your hands. A gentle flow, a serene day."

There it was again; a teal glow. However this time she noticed more than a simple fast of light. There was a seal, which Kitsune did not take notice the first time around. Kitsune is a gypsy and thus is no newcomer when it comes to the forbidden arts. Just what was this woman and how much power does she have over life and death. So there is a difference between Leaf and Stone. Stone directly forbidden anything that disrupted the dead. “What was that seal just now?” Kitsune found no reason to hold back her questions. The sign did welcome them to probe the mind of the branch leader.

Kitsune takes a deep breath and pictures her soul as a small flame within her body. It shines within her body and flickers with every heartbeat. She concentrates on her breathing taking slow deep breathes. The air mixes with the fire and fans the flame. Ever so gradually it gets bigger, hotter and brighter. The light, the light was almost tangible now as it flowed through her body like little streams. As more light was put out the rivers begin to flood in excess. Soon her left hand was glowing with a mystical aura.

His eyes glowed with interest, things he did not understand always peaked his curiosity and the vast number of Jutsu in the world was beyond his imagination. He knew what medical ninjutsu could do and how important it is in the world of civilian and nina. Allowing for one to heal and get right back in the fight. His mind begin to race with ideas about the jutsu he could create with learning a few basics and so on. Increasing his grasp on jutsu and learning the fundamentals were very important in his quest. He did not plan to stay in the leaf, but travel and be the villages eyes. Not a rogue, more like a vagabond for the leaf. He did not find these large walls appealing, so learning how to mend his own injures was important to him.

For once he fixed his posture, but lowering his head to the surface of the desk as the vital glow from Mikasa’s hands illuminated his face. A innocent smile appeared as the bird made a subtle chirp. He could feel the warmth of her hands, almost like the touch of a mother. Ori even laughed a bit, seeing it once was cool, no better explained as amazing. He allowed for his sharingan to analyze just how she was flowing her chakra. Gaining a technical understand at how the jutsu is performed, he wanted to be sure that he would be able to perform this feat on his own.

Now was his turn, he was nervous. He had only seen the technique once, but his understanding of it was there. Her explanation answered most of the questions he had before he even opened his mouth. He could definitely understand why she was in her position and was respected. He teaching was controlled and easy to understand, she made the classroom feel warm and not boring. Ori could actually engage in questions if he needed to.

He took was he learned from the presentation and applied it. He took a deep breath as he raised his hands and place them gently over the bird. He exhaled softly through his nose and closed his eyes. He calms his nerves and focused his attention on distributing chakra equally into his hands and funneling into the injured bird. A teal glow wrapped his hand along with a sensation of warmth. His chakra in sync with the creature's heart, it felt like he gently catering the creature. He opened his eyes and kept his focus, his sharingan help regulate his chakra flow. He wasn’t sure if it was working, but he did know he was beginning to grasp just how to efficiently do this.

Ori, always excelled faster than most, call it natural talent, but really it was hard work and motivation. He did not have nothing to prove, but someone he wanted to be.

Towards the right side of the medical kunoichi, Kitsune flourishes with the basic method, the younger medical-nin's aura shimmering. Leaning over, Mikasa begins to examine the radiance and whistles gently, "Most impressive, you seem to have a purity that even myself lack." she comments truthfully, allowing a grin to appear upon her features, "I wonder what allows you to possess such a brilliant chakra aura.." she muses aloud, rubbing at her chin in thought, an interesting study for another time; the classroom to the appropriate time to get lost in thought.

Curiously the medical chief reverts her attention to the Uchiha youngster, finding herself amused at the Sharingan surfacing, the standard trademark of one becoming serious within the Uchiha clan world. It never surprised her the natural gifts most of the raven hair children possess, a nearly unfair advantage from the moment they are birthed into the world, destined to become at least a confident shinobi or kunoichi. Oriyuu's chakra control was at least a high ranking Gennin, Kitsune's far higher than she wished to admit aloud, but notably equal to a high ranking medical position.

Gently the woman guides Kitsune's hand gently above Oriyuu's, the close proximity makes this particular task a breeze, yet potentially awkward as the trio becomes a bit too close to one another, "Very good, thus far." she takes a brief pause, "If you don't mind, would allow your chakra to flow through Oriyuu-kun?" she inquires, in the same instance realizing she hadn't asked for their names; however Mikasa had encountered the academy student prior to the class earlier within the week. It would certainly be an eye opener to feel a higher quality chakra coursing through his system, hands on learning far more beneficial in this case. In regards to Kitsune, a higher step for her to perform and allowing the medical chief to examine her capabilities a bit closer.

Potentially the Uchiha lad might feel the ferocity of a sleeping beast.

Kitsune was a good shinobi and follows orders from her superior to the letter. To properly have her chakra flow through the boy she would need to change gears. Kitsune’s hand ceases to glow but as she touches Ori’s hand, she focuses her chakra into him. This was a jutsu called energy transfer and was created just for this purpose. Kitsune felt no embarrassment from them touching on another for this jutsu requires physical contact. Kitsune was an unusual one for she had a great reservoir of chakra within her; not to mention her puppet body naturally re-energizes her. The longer the two of them remained in contact the more chakra she would flow into him. She had no fear of running out, but was curious just how much chakra can this boy handle.

Unlike her other dolls that were foreign made, this one was local and not nearly as finely crafted. Her other dolls were created by an artist obsessed with making her dolls as human as possible. This one however only looked incredibly real, the feel was lacking. Kitsune’s hands were as hard and cold as clay. Though she looks to be a normal girl her touch says otherwise. Kitsune had shed away her mortal body and seal her spirit into a puppet, thus making herself into a cursed doll.

He slowly understanding the concept on his own, even using his Sharingan, it was easy to see he was struggling. Although his control was better than most. Ori could tell his classmate had a better understanding of the jutsu, but he had too much pride to ask for help. Mikasa complimented them both, but he felt like his was genuine. His focus began to weaken as his chakra began to fluctuate. His eyes strained slightly as he began to sweat. The jutsu was harder than he thought. He could feel the heartbeat of the bird, but he could not seem to heal its injury. Frustrated he was ready to pull his hands away and leave the classroom, quitting was out of his character, but he felt like we would do better if he spent time training along.

Just as he moved his hands, the gentle touch of his classmate would calm his nerves. Warmth flowed through his body and hands. A river of affection flowing into the creature below. Her control was far better than his. He was surprised, but thankful that she helped. Although he felt a strange aura come from her. He could not explain it, but he could tell there was more to her than meets the eye. The presence of her chakra was almost unbearable, frightening, but yet warm.

He felt himself relax and regain his focus, his eyes sharpening as the swishing of teal chakra could be heard. He smiled as the bird began to chirp.

The faint chirping of the avian intensifies, the once injured wing flaps before the creature manages to escape the overshadowing hands of the student and medic-nin. When one swift motion the fowl streaks out of the open window with a lovely melodic series of thankful chirps, or so one could assume. Nodding her head she gently guides the two hands across to the final stunned specimen. Exactly as one would suspect, the same process would ensue and the bird gone in the blink of an eye; Mikasa claps her hands together gently before raising to her feet, returning to the desk at the head of the class.

Taking a moment to allow her students to process what had occurred before them prior to speaking, "Well done! As you can tell, it is difficult to utilize the technique on your own, but by coming together for a moment you were a medical-nin." she explains in a vibrant tone. Of course this statement wasn't aimed at the actual ranked kunoichi, but she did not wish to cause Oriyuu to feel discouraged. Gathering her paperwork, she slides the participants names into a folder, indicating the completion of the course, "We finished thirty minutes ahead of time, you are both may leave early. I thank you for attending the class, I hope you both continue to dabble in the arts of medical techniques." the medical chief murmurs in a wafer tone.

Eyeing the pair her left hand fans outwards towards the door, further iterating it was acceptable to actually be dismissed, "If either one of you wish to stick around and pick my mind, feel free to do so." Adjusting the spectacles upon the bridge of her nose, the platinum mane maiden distracts herself unless called upon for any further interactions. The session went better than Mikasa expected.

There was a project that she would wish to discuss with the medical senin. It was of a sensitive nature as the previous village would surely frown to her goal. Stone directly forbidden anything that disrupted the dead. Though it is not the dead she is messing with, she is sure they would forbid it all the same. Leaf seems to be more open minded however she did not want to discuss the matter in front of the student. The less people to know the better. She would wait for him to leave. If he asked questions of the senin she will stay and listen. Eventually she would have her private talk and she was willing to wait for it if need be.

Ori was happy to hear the chirping of the bird, healthy, alive and well. Unwrapping the bandages from It’s wing so that it could spread it’s wing properly. Shaking its body before taking flight, a single feather falling off it’s wing . The bird soared the corners of the classroom, easily gliding before making a swift exit. Mikasa applauds would follow, Ori tried hard to hide his excitement, he always enjoyed learning new thing...but he still hated school. He began to wonder if this could be used for the opposite, he had so many questions, but so little time, he wouldn't mind staying here a little while longer to gain a greater understanding of medical jutsu.

Mikasa words were kind, but Ori knew his classmate was far better than him at medical ninjutsu, he was only able to perform the technique due to his classmates help. He was not discouraged, but honored that one would try to help progress when they did not need to. He turned to her and bowed his head, showing his thanks. Looking away as he raised his head and pouted his face, scratching his chin nervously.“Uh, thanks for helping me..” There was more he wanted to say, but he was not much for conversation.

Before Mikasa leaved he had a quick question for her and more so a request. “Is there a way to use medical jutsu for the opposite? Understanding the body and using it to sever nerves causing paralysis and such. I assume it’s possible? If so, do you think you could hold another class and teach me how, I would really appreciate it.”

Ironically the class had been dismissed, yet both of the students remained seated; admittedly this took her by surprise. Tilting her head to the side, Mikasa stares at the Uchiha lad, "It is possible, Hyuuga clansmen techniques is a good example of altering chakra flow within the body and their are a way other ways." the Sennin admits, but considering the opportunity to teach another group of medical techniques in a more offensive method was not an opportunity she was willing to pass up. Adjusting the spectacles upon her face for the umptheenth time, the kunoichi nods, "Absolutely, I'll post flyers by the end of the week and host another session this time next week." she responds in a chipper tone.

Assuming that was the only inquiry the raven hair lad had on his mind, her attention turns to Kitsune, who clearly wished to have a private discussion. Bowing her head politely towards Oriyuu, "You have my thanks for being open minded and wishing to learn today, but I have to speak with your peer, privately. Is there anything else you wish to discuss today?" Taking the blame of releasing the pair earlier than intended, but having open discussions was a bit more interesting than on hands learning at times.

With his questioned being answered, Ori would show his thanks by taking his leave. He had some training to catch up on, with the Genin exams coming up, he wanted to get in some more, Jutsu training.

Now it was just the two of them, but Kitsune still seems hesitant. “I am sure you are aware of my rank. I did not want to make this request in front of the student and reveal it to him. I have been working on a project I like for you to review. I do not have my notes on me at the moment nor is this really the appropriate place to discuss such matters. Sometime this week I would like to make an appointment with you in your office.” After saying what she had to say Kitsune gathers her things walks out the door.

Curiously the reasoning too the visit in the academy is revealed, Kitsune wishing due to have a project of hers reviewed. Merely nodding her head the medical head, "Of course, though you didn't have to pretend to be a student and could have come to me during anytime of the day." the kunoichi replies in a brisk tone. Once the affair had been settled, the maiden begins to gather her own belongings and making a mental note of the Uchiha lad and potential future affairs he could participate in. Pivoting about Mikasa turns off the light and shuts the door behind her; apparently another lesson would have to be ran soon.
