A tired yawn, the crack of dawn.
Rising up, grab my cup.
Waking glee, steaming tea.
Warming inside, graceful stride.
Hearty food, father rude.
This whole week, looking bleak.
Close my drawer, out the door.
Down the street, carried by feet.
To downtown, despite the sounds.
Through the city, always pretty.
Past the market, what a racket.
To the gates, I saved the date.
Seeing breath, cold as death.
Stopping now, low I bow.
Hidden ANBU, draped in blue.
Or rather black, prepping attack.
A subtle sigh, seconds pass by.
Passport out, want to shout,
"Hurry, Hurry," but there's no fury.
