[spoilername="Physical Description"]Physical Description: Ranmaru stands a little tall for his age at 160 cm (5'3'') and is unusally muscular for a 12 year old. He has long, dark hair, which is almost black in appearance. He wears it in a pony tail and has never had it cut in his young life. Ranmaru wears his hair this way so as to honor his family's rich history while also staying true to his own nature. He is rather tan in appearance and much like the other males in his family, he has 12 tattoos, one for each year he has been alive. Ranmaru can be seen about the streets wearing wraps around his upper torso, allowing his shoulders and arms to be free from constraint. His lower half is usually covered by a kikko kobakama on account of Ranmaru's preference for little to no constraint. Footwear of any sort is frowned upon by Ranmaru, and as such, he never wears any unless absolutely necessary. All clothing worn by Ranmaru shares the greens and purples present in his family crest. [spoilername="Mental Description"]Mental Description: Ranmaru is a rather boisterous child, always getting into whatever he can get his hands on. He lacks what is present in his brothers, which is a trait some may call laziness. Ranmaru is always involved in anything and everything. He speaks for both of his brothers, which is very welcome as they both prefer to spare their words, unless necessary. Ranmaru could speak for days, and he would, if he did not have such respect and admiration for his two older brothers, Hanzo and Hachidoku. He feels a rather strange closeness to his late father, though he never met his father. The only account of his father he has is what he was always told by his mother and his brothers. Though the recent loss of his mother has been very hard on Ranmaru, he is eagerly awaiting the future. He attempts to take away some of the stress present on what's left of his family by striving to maintain a positive outlook.[/spoilername]

[spoilername="History"]History: Shortly before Ranmaru was born, his father was killed in an accident involving cattle around the village. Ranmaru has heard the heroic story of how his father saved a myriad of lives many times throughout his life. Ranmaru has thus formed this unshakable image of his father as a hero in his young mind. His favorite moments in life thus far have been spent with his brothers. Hanzo has been teaching Ranmaru and his other brother basic jutsus for years, much to the dismay of their mother. As such, they always trained in secret in an area far away from the main part of the village. This is why they were not taken in the natural disaster that struck their small village. Before this tragedy, however, Ranmaru could have been found practicing more physical fighting styles. Ranged styles are preferred by most other Tokugawa family members, but Ranmaru received a radically different upbringing as compared with his two brothers. It has been tradition in the Tokugawa family to receive an injection that bestows a rather unique ability to manipulate insects to great effect. It is the duty of the patriarch in any family to bestow this ability upon his children. Since Keiji died before Ranmaru was born, he never received this ability, which seems to have contributed to his being so different from his brothers. Currently, Ranmaru looks forward to becoming a ninja alongside his two brothers. He hopes this opportunity could provide a chance to learn more about his family's past, present, and future.
