Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Kume's memories of her mother make and the teachings she received at the hands of Kuro, having been taken in when there was no reason too, she deeps cares for those who cannot fend for themselves and she can and will not stop in the defense of those she cares for.

Pre-adoption: Kume had been found dressed in rags, so now that she has a life within the Toraono Clan, she enjoys to dress up in gothic dresses, and her style is best described as Lolita. Beneath her elaborate garments are neumerous scars from years of abuse, and intensive training.

Post-adoption: In the weeks following her adoption into the Toraono Clan, Kume's body underwent numerous physical changes. Two small horns began growing from her head, inspired by the induction of the powerful Toraono Clan's demonic blood to her own already demonic being. Kume wears her hair long and loose, flowing over her shoulders with her headband keeping it away from her face. Her hair is carefully brushed to best display these horns.

Normal: Standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall with a fair complexion, Kume would be an imposing sight even if she weren't blue. Empty white eyes, devoid of pupil or iris are ever watching those around her, never revealing whom upon her gaze falls. Rounding out her demonic appearance are two curved horns rising from her head. With muscles near invisible beneath her skin, Kume looks more like a tall and lanky youth then the fierce warrior of Domina Aeria that she is. Clad in pure white robes, worn tightly over her 28B frame, the robes are those of a priestess of Domina Aeria, Mother Suna. Wearing her silky black hair shoulder length in a ponytail, held back with a red ribbon.

Demon Form: Becoming enshrouded in lightning, Kume's clothes are consumed in the electric fire. Stepping forth is a woman, both the same and different. One of the first things many who look upon her new form would see, is the sparks of lightning emanating around her eyes, for such is the chakra unleashed in this form that it seeps out through the windows to the soul. Similarly her ears display the corruption wrought by her magics, with points to rival her horns mutated upon them. Beneath her skin, where small muscles once ran, now powerful cells form a rippling musculature that displays her true strength yet still accentuate her natural demonic beauty. Covering her body are runes, in runic Terran, which read as prayers to a nameless god. These runes cover all of her body, something which is totally revealed, save for a knee length loincloth of the same white as her robes were. Breaking free from it's tie, now hangs straight to the small of her back, the color of freshly fallen snow. As her form ends, Kume is once again, consumed in the same lightning as she started, stepping forth as her original self once more.

Reaper Form: Blood begins seeping from Kume's, staining into her white robes a deep crimson. The changes from this form aren't as drastic as when she adopts her Demon Form. Slowly, as the form takes effect, her skin changes from it's natural blue hue to the vibrant scarlet, of the arterial blood, something people rarely ever see, a sharp contrast to the veinous blood staining her robes. Breaking loose from their ties, her hair sparks with static electricity, jumped between the black strands in response to the surges of power from her Goddesses Blood faith.

Demon Reaper Form: Possibly the most powerful of the Blood Priestesses forms, this form can only be activated if one of it's predecessors is already in place. Summoned forth from a place of darkness, this form can only spell certain doom for those who face it. Curling into a ball, Kume glows with a blinding electric light for several seconds before arising as the picture of demonic and holly destruction. Wearing only a bloodstained loincloth, she watches her enemies through empty, bloodshot eyes. Her white demon hair is stained with blood splatter, much the same as her minimalist clothing. With taught muscles beneath her crimson flesh, and contrasting blue runic prayers writen upon her skin, she creates a sight that is just as imposing as the power within her deserves.



Biography:

Kume is the first born child of a ronin turned crime lord named Tachiabana Zenbu. Kume's mother Aniya was cast out of Zenbu's house when she could not produce a male heir to Zenbu's criminal empire. Both mother and child lived on the streets, constantly abused by any and all of Zenbu's lackeys. When her mother was murdered at the hands of Zenbu's rivals, Kume was left alone on the streets to fend for herself. Her innocence and abilities, however, brought her to the attention of the Devil Sage Sennin Toraono Kuro, who has taken her under his wing, and protects her. Kuro secretly trains her and treats her like an apprentice, though he takes special pleasure in spoiling her rotten much to the angst of his baby sister Haizame but she already has most of her father Kaibudo’s attention and being five years older than Kume she doesn’t get quite that jealous.

The room was dimly lit as Kume hummed softly to herself, picking at the stitches in her needlework. They were uneven and the threads were frayed from repeated knotting, but her skill was slowly improving. Kuro, her Guardian, was lately often absent, so she had the entire dojo to play in. The days would drift by when she did not even move from her seat in the library until meals were called or she was asked to come practice her martial arts, her small figure was further dwarfed by the massive couches and chairs that had been placed all around so people could rest from whatever they happened to be doing at the dojo. Today was particularly slow-paced. A book on needlework was open on the table beside her, she'd so far learned to knit, crochet and make nautical knots this week, and hoped to add needlework to her list of acquired skills. Kuro kept her well, and she wanted for nothing, he gave in to her every whim. He kept her happy with gifts, and time spent teaching her his ANBU techniques. Often Kume felt she was being used, brought up in his image, the jewel in his crown. But the older she became, the more she learned that Kuro simply wanted the best for her and should he not be around that she would be able to defend herself. She owed Kuro everything but he asked for nothing more than her smile.

At the girl's request, Kuro had tracked down Kume’s father but had been unable to truly out him because of his position with the feudal lords. As a frequent traveler to Sasorimura he had amassed a small fortune. He has no current knowledge of his daughter and believes her to be dead along with the woman whom brought her into the world. Kuro has sworn to make him pay however and the day Zenbu slips up he will meet the darkside that Kuro hides from all but his true enemies.

Kuro had been practicing his personal Akuma Senjutsu when he noticed that Kume reacted to his dark chakra without injuries or nightmares. Kuro then decided to test her by having her use one of his ANBU techniques with dark chakra. She mastered it just as easily as Kuro had when he was younger. He was now certain that she had demon blood within her but he had yet to find out how deep the wellspring of darkness within the young lady went. Kuro personally prepared her training gear and armor. If Kuro had his way Kume would be a better ANBU than he had ever been.

[ Demon Ancestry ]

A ninja with Demonic Ancestry had a demon somewhere along in their family tree – and has slight demonic traits waiting to be unlocked as they grow in strength. Those with Demonic Ancestry generally look the same as normal human beings, although some are known to have slight demonic features, such as runic tattoos, very dark hair, fangs, red eyes, or very small horns. However, no matter how hard they try, they will never become full demons.


Third Eye
By unlocking the mortal restraints on their mind, the demonic shinobi can gain use of the third eye, the super sense beyond all senses. They can hear someone's surface thoughts (what someone else's character thinks, the demonic ninja can hear as if they were talking) simply by being near them if they are of similar or lower power level (within 25 points total power or lower), and a small chance to discern the motives of a superior. This effect replaces Sixth Sense.

+2 to all stealth, Genjutsu Save, and awareness checks.

Akuton
By channeling dark energy into a jutsu, the demonic shinobi can make their attacks more powerful and of a darker nature. This can only be used with offensive ninjutsu that directly deal damage. These jutsu are now Akuton, or evil element jutsu, in addition to their other elemental properties, so effects that would normally block or absorb elemental damage are only half as effective.

The user may convert a Ninjutsu into the 'Evil' element to increases its damage by +20% and allowing it to cut through all Ninjutsu damage reduction. Jutsu used this way cost +25% Cp and cannot have their chakra cost reduced, and this may only be done once per round.

Mind Ripper
By grabbing a victim’s head and channeling dark energy and evil will into their mind, a demonic shinobi can temporarily traumatize their opponent, lowering their will power, or in some cases, instantly destroying any hint of sanity.

Grabs an opponent’s head at -3 melee accuracy (-2 accuracy with Called Shot). Subsequently ravages their mind, inflicting a -3 to genjutsu resist for the remainder of the battle (this part is treated as a level 6 genjutsu). For the next 5 rounds, starting from the next round after the opponent is hit by Mind Ripper, they have a 20% chance for every action they take to go into temporary convulsions and lose that action. Every time these convulsions take place, the opponent takes 3% Max HP damage. The opponent can only go into convulsions once per round. Using Mind Ripper takes 2AP and can only be used once per battle, per target (if they miss grabbing their intended target’s head, it doesn’t count for this).

Daunting Presence
Demons instill a great deal of fear into their opponents. This fear can make them quite hesitant--and easier to take advantage of. Hesitation is all a demon needs to strike.

Opponents take a -2 dodge penalty during rounds where they attempt to attack the user.

Fell Vengeance
t isn't always smart to attack a demon. They might get a touch mad at you, and mad demons are a force to be reckoned with. In fact, if you can't dispatch them quickly, it is sometimes better not to try at all.

A single melee taijutsu attack can be overcharged to do 30% extra damage on any turn when the user has been hit already. Cannot be combined with Akuton. Adds 10% CP cost to the jutsu.

Demon Blessing
The mind of a demon is much less susceptible to attack than that of a mere mortal, restricting Genjutsu from targeting them too easily. Being so alien to most forms of chakra, a practitioner of the mind arts will find them harder to snare.

+2 Genjutsu Save.

Form of the Demon
This technique is the ultimate incarnation of a demonic ninja’s tie to his or her hellish ancestry. Releasing all bonds and restrictions, they unleash their true demonic nature, becoming a terrifying being of power and awe. The after affects are disastrous, however.

While Active, the user gains a +2 to all secondary stats and all jutsu are considered "Dark". This means they deal +10% damage to all damage types that does not apply to damage buff limits, and bypasses half of any damage reduction the victim may have. In addition, all damage dealt upon the user is reduced by 20% and this reduced damage is instead converted into CP for the user.
Cost: 3 AP and 2400 HP to initiate. 1140 HP/Rnd.

[ Abilities - Buffs ]


Shadow Tactics
- The few, the proud, the brave, the ANBU. These are the shinobi who fight battles to keep the village safe from intruders and on rare occasions venture out into the world to stop the dastardly villains that are the missing ninja. Those who take the oath of the ANBU, enter a brotherhood that extends far beyond their village gates.

- The user has access to Anbu Jutsu.
- This ability is automatically gained upon fulfilling the above requirements. Once gained, this ability permanently remains on the character.
- This Ability does not take up an ability slot.

Medical Knowledge
- This ability is unique to med nin, and represents the training one undergoes to study and learn different medical practices that enable them to become a practical combat medic.

- The user gains access to Medical Jutsu.
- This ability is automatically gained upon fulfilling the above requirements. Once gained, this ability permanently remains on the character.
- This Ability does not take up an ability slot.

Shinobi 101 - Taijutsu
- Ever growing are the skills of shinobi. Ever lasting is their commitment to innovation, to see the weapons in their hands in a new light.

- User may use Claw jutsu with Polearm weapons

Nimble Hands
Most fighters have to drop their weapons in order to form handseals. Masters of this art are able to cast without dropping what they are holding, or indeed, hold an extra weapon while using Glove attacks.

- The user may perform handseals or throw projectiles while wielding a weapon, however performing jutsu this way costs +15% Cp.
- The user may perform unarmed techniques normally without needing to drop or unequip their weapon.
- This ability does not apply if the user is duelwielding; they must have one free hand.

Jutsu Mastery
-The user knows their jutsu inside and out; they have such a complete understanding that they know how to conserve as much chakra use as possible and still obtain the same results as a less skilled shinobi would using far more energy.

- All Jutsu costs are reduced by 10%.
- Mastered Jutsu receive an additional 5% Reduction.

Sixth Sense
Some things just can't get past you. Characters with this ability have the innate ability of feeling a bit weird when something is not quite right. Although this ability does not always kick in, it can be used for many things such as trap evasion, detection of sneak attacks, detection of transformation but is not limited to those.

- When making an awareness check, the user has a 25% chance to auto-detect the target. This applies to targets in Stealth, hidden by clones, and under transformations.
- Sneak Attacks to the user have a 25% chance of being detected and losing their Sneak bonus.

Called Shot
This ability teaches where all the good spots to aim are. With this ability, you can disable someone, make incredibly hard to aim shots in vital areas, and restrict movement alot easier. The 13 types of called shots are: Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, right Leg, Head, Left Hand, Right Hand, Left foot, Right Foot, Neck, Heart, and Disarm Attempts.

- All Called shots only inflict Half the usual Accuracy Penalties.
- +5% Called shot Chance.
- User can inflict Broken rank Debuffs.

[ Abilities - Styles ]
Defensive Technique
This ability allows you to defend more efficiently. With this ability you can reduce damage taken, block attacks, and tire your enemy out.

- When in 'defensive mode', the player receives -1 to accuracy per +1 to dodge instead of the normal +2 dodge -4 Accuracy defense penalty.
-The maximum amount of dodge for accuracy they may swap is 4.
- -10% Damage Taken while in Defensive Mode
- User exhausts one rate lower.

Sorcerer
A style used only by those that truly dedicate themselves to the art of Ninjutsu, this style is perfected by mastering a wide variety of Ninja Arts, and through this perfection, they gain the ability to cast many sorts of techniques at a higher level than others, while drawing forther and making the most out of their chakra. Though their powers in Ninjutsu are unmatched, this dedication leaves them vulnerable to direct confrontations, and their physical capabilities are noticeably sub par compared to others.

- -10% Elemental Damage Taken
- -10% cost to all Jutsu.
- -1 Melee Dodge, +10% Physical Damage taken.
- All Ninjutsu deal +5% more Damage.

Cost: Exhausts user at an average rate.

Self-Trained
Not everyone spends hours upon hours learning someone else's method of fighting. Some infact, prefer to simply fight on their own instinct, and learn and sharpen their skills through beating up others, or getting beat up themselves. While maybe not the most graceful fighters, or the most balanced, user's of their own styles tend to be unique, and always interesting to watch.
Information:

- Can only be used Unarmed, unless the user has the Nimble Hands ability, allowing it to be used with a weapon.
- Must choose your style at the start of the battle.
- User can add 2 points between Accuracy and Dodge. (+2 Accuracy/+1 of Each/+2 Dodge)
- Additionally, if they lower either to -1, then the other bonus can be +3 rather than +2.
- User get's one point to either increase their Damage by 5%, or their critical by +1.
- Exhausts the user at an average rate, though increasing it to above average allows one more point to accuracy/Dodge, and Damage/Critical. Lowering the exhaustion rate does the opposite..

[ Kinjutsu - Mother Suna ]

A Dark Religion centered around a God which acknowledges those who fight to defend her Children. Those of the Domina Aeria Faith have been known to be Extremely Sadistic and persistent when it comes to vengeance, becoming fanatics in the work of their bloody faith. The worshipers of the Sand Mother are a cult strongly linked to ancient Suna, and view anything less than unyielding devotion as a Sin to their blessed Mother and their creed. As such, the Priest's worship and embellish all acts of perseverance, Relishing themselves in the pain of both themselves and others that would threaten their Goddesses children during their mission in spreading the word of their God and carrying out her Commandments. Religion is their weapon, and it is rumored that their hardcore faith gives them a measure of immortality, their obsessive prayers and sacrifices involving eye-for-eye revenge that allow the cult to rise up from even the most mortal injuries that would kill even hardened shinobi. Effects:
- Their gruesome rituals and practices give the Priestesses their Goddess's Blessings. All Damage Reduction effects upon a Priestess cannot be bypassed or negated, whether it be from Weapon or Jutsu effects, Augments, Dark Techniques, etc.
- All Bleeding and called shot attempts made against the user have a -10% Chance of Success. All physical penalties are treated as if one rank lower.
- The Priestess cannot be knocked out by passive damage such as Poison or Bleeding.
- If an attack would cause the user to be Ko'd, their Hp remains at 1 Hp and they cannot be Ko'd for the remainder of the round. This may happen once per battle.
- If an attack would bring the user to -100% Max Hp, Damage stops at 1 Hp away from -100%. This may happen once per battle.


Blood Magic - Activated Passive
A darker practice said to have been passed down by the Sand Mother herself, this skill endows the Priestess to perform dark curses by drawing upon her own life force in place of chakra, or rather, in addition to chakra. Generally done by slicing her wrist, this skill requires a tribute of blood in place of handseals, and grants the user a temporary blessing from Domina Aeria that super-charges their techniques with dark, evil energy that reeks of malice. Â

- By paying 10% of a Jutsu's cost in Hp, the user can turn a Ninjutsu into a "Dark" Element Attack. This Blood jutsu does not require handseals, and deals +5% damage, and bypasses 5% of Damage Reduction. These effects may stack up to three times in one Jutsu.
- By coating their weapon in their own Blood, the user can use any physical action as a "Dark" Element technique. This blood must be fresh, so it costs Hp equal to 30% of the Taijutsu cost, and deals +15% Damage while bypassing 15% worth of damage reduction. This only applies to one action/jutsu per use, as the dark energy rapidly fades from the blood.
- This does not cost Ap, the user only has to declare an attack is being made in this way.
- Does not cost an ability slot.

Reaper of Faith - Special Activated Passive
The primary curse of the Blood Priestesses, this technique is the basis for many of their other dark powers, and naturally, this does not effect those sharing in a holly blessing, for for it is in the nature of Gods to protect their servitors from each others powers. The ritual is simple, involving the Priestess ingesting the blood of their living target, at this stage now officially their “Sacrifice”. The Priestess's body transforms into a more sinister appearance, generally a bright scarlet color with blood staining their clothes, though there are rumors of other equally menacing appearances. Regardless of the case, this curse is said to transform the user into a shinigami, as they gain the ability to sense their "Sacrifices"...and it is a sin of the highest degree for a Priestess to leave the victim of this technique alive, the user becoming a living embodiment of the Mother herself.

- For 1 Ap, the user may ingest the Blood of a target. This links them together through a forbidden curse of their Faith, Giving them +2 Awareness to those who's blood have been ingested. In addition, this allows the user of Further Curse Techniques upon the target.
- This bonus lasts the remainder of the battle, or until either the user or the victim dies.
- The Jashinist may ingest the blood of multiple targets simultaneously, and may be linked to multiple targets with this technique at once.
- This does not take effect against other Jashinists.

Spear of Redemption - Special Weapon
A lightweight, retractable spear often used by the wandering devotees of the anchient gods in their mission to spread and enact their creeds. This weapon shrinks into a compact form that seems to resemble a thin cylinder for portability, yet can snap into a long, thin, and extremely sharp pike with the flip of a wrist. While normally used for their rituals and sacrificial tributes, this tool can easily function as a direct tool for slaying any ignorant pagans who refuse to accept the truth of their God.

Prayer of Malicious Intent - Level 6 Curse Ninjutsu
The Priestesses lead a cult strongly intertwined with vengace and and protection. Though it is their job to spread the protection of their Mother to those they deem worthy, more  often then not the Priestess's crave for little more than  bloodshed. The Priestess's faith thanks their Goddess before and after every battle, offering themselves up for rituals in return for the dark power of their Goddess. It is this ritual, that enables the Priestess to offer a few quick words of gratitude for their battle that grants the believer a quick, rush of bloodlust and strength that can all but reap the souls of the most powerful of victims.

Rank 3: For one round, reverses all physical debuffs effecting the user.

Note:
- This jutsu may only be used once every three rounds.
- Does not apply to any negated debuffs. The user also takes +10% Damage from all sources the round this is used.
- The following round, all physical penalties are increased by +1, and the user still takes +10% damage from all sources.

Cost: 620 Cp to initiate.

Sacrilegious Atonement - Level 7 Curse Ninjutsu
A curse technique known to the Blood Priestesses that allows them to link their life to their target through the use of the emblem of their faith. After ingesting the blood of their target, the Priestess can use their own blood to scribe the seal of their Goddess upon the target, infused with their dark magic that transfers all physical feelings from the target to the Priestess, though this only applies to effects which are beneficial to the body. Being infused with their chakra, this seal cannot be removed until the dark magics fade, from that point being able to be wiped away normally.

Rank 3: Scribes a seal upon a target at -2 Accuracy. All Healing and recovery is reduced by 40%, and all activated buff’s are reduced by 1.5 or 10%. The remainder of the effects are treated as if effecting the user as well. Cannot be removed for three rounds.

Note:
- Does not use handseals, and use melee Accuracy
- The user must be under the effect of Reaper of Faith.
- This only applies to activated buffs or recovery effects. Does not apply to buffs due to Genjutsu, nor does it apply to passive buffs.
- The user cannot be buffed by the same technique simultaneously, regardless of the source.
- Removing the seal costs 1 Ap to wipe the blood away completely, yet cannot be done until the round limit is up.
- Does not effect other Jashinists.

Cost: 900 Cp and 300 Hp to scribe, 430 Cp and 140 Hp per round maintained.

Divine Judgment - Level 8 Curse Ninjutsu
The most feared curse of the Blood Priestesses Faith, This ritual is capable of being performed only by those blessed by Domina Aeria herself. This sinister ritual is performed after the Priestess has ingested the blood of the target, from that point being able to perform this sacred ritual by scribing the seal of their Goddess, Domina Aeria, upon the ground with their blood. While in the Seal, the Priestess is able to inflict pain upon themselves, torturing their helpless victims and receiving pleasure from the wounds of both themselves and their victims, essentially, becoming a sadistic, living voodoo doll.

Master Rank: Scribes a seal with the radius of up to 8 feet around the user. While within this seal, all physical effects such as damage and debuffs inflicted upon the user, Including reduced damage and debuffs, is also inflicted to those whom the Jashinist has ingested the Blood of.

Note:
- Does not use Handseals.
- This technique only takes effect against those who are targeted by Reaper of Faith.
- While within the Blood Seal the user has -3 Dodge to all techniques aimed at them.
- The seal and the surface it was scribed upon cannot be destroyed through any means during battle while the user maintains this technique's cost.
- Should the user no longer maintain the cost, they may still gain the effects while within the seal, but the seal and the ground may be destroyed.
- All damage and effects done to the victim bypass all forms of reduction and cannot be blocked in anyway or form.
- This Jutsu does not apply to Genjutsu damage or debuffs.

Cost: 3 Ap, 2500 Cp and 830 Hp to initiate. 1200 Cp/Rnd and 400 Hp/Rnd to maintain.

Immaculate Blessing - Level 9 Curse Ninjutsu
The Ultimate curse of the Priestess Faith, This ritual is available only to the most obsessive fanatics of Mother Suna. This sinister ritual is an extension to previous ones, combining two of their most powerful curses into one, providing the ultimate punishment against those outside their faith. The Priestess is able to scribe the seal of Domina Aeria upon a target, marking them for death, the blood constantly burning the flesh of the victim that could easily leave a scar. Once scribed, punishment of the highest degree is imminent, the user being able to link their life to their sacrifice without the need of remaining within a seal. Only death awaits those who have been marked.

Scribes a seal upon a single target with both the user's and the victim's Blood at -3 Accuracy. All physical effects such as Damage (Including reduced damage) and debuffs (Including reduced Debuffs) inflicted upon the user, are also inflicted upon the target, and any buffs that the target has activated are dispelled. Further attempts to activate a buff have a 40% chance to fail each round, and gain +10% chance each round maintained.

Note:
- Does not use Handseals.
- The user must have the blood of a target, and must have Reaper of Faith activated.
- Can only effect one target at a time, and negates any other curses the user may have had activated aside from Reaper of Faith. Attempting to use a different curse will dispel this technique.
- All damage and effects done to the victim bypass all forms of reduction and cannot be blocked in anyway or form.
- This Jutsu does not apply to Genjutsu effects or passive effects.

Cost: 4.5 Ap, 3060 Cp and 1020 Hp to initiate. 1460 Cp and 490 hp per round maintained.
