Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

After ten years of psychological exams, profiles and physical testing Kuro finally qualified for entrance into the House for advanced Sennin training. Kuro sat by a murky bench with his face down seemingly asleep. The warmth of the dark apples he had managed to acquire suffusing him. Alone and without guidance most of the time he could train in whatever way he felt necessary to become something more; Following his mother’s guidelines he had just re-mastered the use of shurikens and throwing knives. Tomorrow was a brand new night and there was much for him to do. Stretching out he looked upon his beloved sword and wondered what was going on back at the dojo. He'd been studying with the ANBU corps and if he could happen upon a true challenge he wouldn’t have to wear his special guards or ANBU uniform everywhere The door opened and a wispy yet strong voice called out "Come inside and let us see the future of the true Sennin." He looked around as no one else seemed to move. Breaking ranks and heading for the entrance he didn't dare look back to see who followed that was not the shadow way. Kuro entered the house and although he couldn't believe it somehow the shadows grew darker. A sense of foreboding came upon him as he stood firm and waited for directions... none came. Kuro waited no more and began to explore... ((Swift, Silent & Deadly)) as his father had once told to him. Whether he cared or not the testing had begun.

Kuro stood center of the massive room and willed the shadows to test the locks of the many doors available to him. About two days past before he found three he could open, stealthily moving forward, Kuro tried to be ready for anything, He simply could not have been prepared for the massive ever changing rooms and setup of the house. Its interior dimensions were completely malleable and subject to the whims of a Greater Demon who apparently trained whomever he deemed worthy or at his whim. “State your name and your purpose.” boomed the Demon Master, waiting patiently as Kuro fumbled his introductory papers for Sennin training. Taking the introduction letter swiftly yet without malice, The Demon Master read the psychological profile very carefully. Smiling he produced a scythe, a bastard sword, a pair of tonfa, a magical set of weighted gear, and a huge book with a shadow lock and leather straps for carrying on your back. “All of the spells in that book are performed by shadow writing, hand symbols, and blood scrolls, so you need not speak to master them; also beware of the Wolf Master he will not suffer failure. Now choose your path and may you become true Sennin.” At that the Demon Master faded into shadow motes, Kuro was now theorizing as he watched the Demon Master fade , ((the Demon Master is probably an extension of the House and the House is actually a Greater Demon or even a group of Demons, this aside the House is definitely the greatest training challenge in all of Makai))

Kuro quickly donned all the gear, starting with the weighted vest, leggings, bracers, belt, and helmet. He then strapped the bladed shield and sword to the book by hooking them in its straps. He placed the tonfa in the sides of his weighted belt and kept the belt, vest, and bracers just loose enough so he could reach his throwing knives, shurikens, and needles. Kuro quietly stalked off, loaded with gear as he used his natural control of chakra to move like his father had. His hands were large but quick like his mother‘s had been. He strode through a doorway and the blue flames of ancient mystical torches come alive. A being sat there before him wrapped in leather, metal, blades, and spikes. This Akuma sensei was slimmer than Kuro and he breathed very lightly, he was silent like Kuro was both in speech and movement.

His demonstration of techniques was like liquid, he flowed like a riptide, his use of his particular brand of combat skills was incredible, but these were not the combat techniques and skills a scion of the Toraono lineage should appreciate. Still Kuro was not above learning anything new because he wasn’t exactly like his father had been; nothing was above his notice, nothing was overlooked and so the first dance of darkness was joined. The quick, flirtive flow of blades, and tonfa became enmeshed in an orgy of duel and lesson. He could not match the flexibility of his teacher/assailant but he could just barely match his speed somewhat; so the lesson became defensive. Dodging and parrying with the bars of enchanted dark wood against his forearms, his strikes careened against the katars. The training magic of his gear kicked in as the instructor struck a panel on the wall. His tonfa, his weighted leggings, his vests, his bracers and gloves all increased in weight by ten times. Weighed down just enough for his pair of tonfa to drop a few bits, the blade skimmed into his chest jolting him enough to force him to slump over. The second and what probably would have been vicious if not fatal blow never fell as his arm was enwrapped and trapped in the natural shadow of the room just enough to stop the blow. A spark of crimson came to his eyes as he focused his family gift upon the flames, pulling the arm back so far that even with his sensei’s natural flexibility it could be heard popping. Exhausted by his use of chakra control Kuro collapsed, having succumbed to the poison of the Shadow-Sensei‘s katar. Three Shadow Sensei literally stepped from the surrounding shadows to observe the unconscious trainee. “You‘vedonewell Hissori, neverhaveI seena Shadow trainee resisttheduelist firstscar of acceptance, notsince , Sokkou was silenced as quickly as he spoke by the chakra grasp of the Demon Master who appeared in the doorway “That name is forbidden without the expressed permission of Azame hime." Garou Sensei crawled down the wall slobbering in hunger, oh how he longed to eat the young trainees their taste was always so Demon Master and fresh to him but this trainee had an even tastier scent he smelled of human and demon. Garou Sensei hadn‘t had human since the last Shadow Budokai and for this bit of meat he knew he would savor all of the flavor. “Does he pass Hissori?! Is he ready for me?!” snarled Garou. Hissori shook his head to say no. Sokkou being released and finally able to speak again grinned in his insane way. All looked upon the Jinchuuriki known as Kuro with questions in their heads.

“He’s no where near strong enough for your exam yet Garou, but he does show promise, his techniques are unpolished, but his control is formidable, it shall be interesting to see how he fares after Hissori‘s training.” Sokkou added in his swift speaking manner Hissori nodded and took his seat as he waited for Kuro to wake up he realized the young demon avatar had been awake the entire time just unable to move from the poison in his body. Hissori silent as ever realized the ninja‘s weakness, and just as silently switched his katars from poison to ice blades. Kuro slowly rose to his feet his following the saliva trail of Garou up the wall and through a now not so hidden panel. The swift talker was gone before he could even look about as a swish of air signified his leaving; the Demon Master also had faded away in his own special way of splitting into motes of shadow leaving Hissori. Hissori felt a special kinship to Kuro as they were both stricken mentally to where they were silent never to know the joy of full magic that comes from somatic and hand symbols. As soon as Kuro was fully standing he could see the poison blades against the wall and from their positioning he knew full well that Hissori had discovered one of his unusual half human weaknesses.

Hissori nodded to the blades then nodded to the weight panels. Kuro knew what he meant and struck the panel himself his weights became ten shades heavier. His movement slowed all the more but instead of attacking him Hissori took a meditative stance and with his chakra control activated something deep within the house. Spikes, lances and blades and rods began to ooze and lurch up from the walls and using himself as a living shadow Hissori took all the weapons in multiple tentacle grips and began slow yet ever increasing in speed attacks with spears, swords, axes, katars, and shadow fists, dodging, parrying and generally getting lucky Kuro dodged the best he could. Kuro leapt left and right parrying with the tonfa whenever he could. As Hissori had demonstrated shadow could form weapons so even though it drained him to do so Kuro summon multiple shadow kunai and shuriken striking the swirling mass that was Hissori and forcing him to go on defensive now and then. Their skirmish of wills took Kuro‘s training to a higher level as he began to run and leap off the shadow bursts and even using his own shadowmass to cling to walls and leap attack Hissori. Kuro’s gifts became an art form as his body mass became lighter by will alone as he was able to concentrate more through chakra control. He became ever more flexible like his mother had taught him leaning this way and that at impossible angles and standing by his will and the chakra he used. His eyes shimmered a deeper crimson as he leapt upward carried by the momentum of his body his demonic chakra willing what tentacles he could away from him. Weaving his way ever closer to the mass of swirling shadow that was Hissori sweat poured all through his uniform. Another of his human weaknesses, but he also had half human strengths as the spear jabbed straight on he took it in the chest and though it caused him no small amount of pain he only let it pierce enough to where the spear dented his arm and jolted his collarbone then swiveling off the lance to leave a reasonable scar to his chest he struck Hissori a glancing blow to the chest before collapsing in a heap of exhausted muscle. Hissori congratulated him with a soft tap to the shoulder before levitating him with chakra control into his personal healing chambers.

Bull’s Strength Training (Training session 1)
Kuro had come a long way from the carefree ANBU captain he had once been. He had once been so naive as to believe anyone could become a friend. He had once believed that as long as you were faithful to another that your trust could not be betrayed he had found out the hard way that this was not so and though circumstances differed between betrayals, betrayal was simply that betrayal. Kuro had once been the epitome of demon and human hybridization, able to channel all his abilities in specific bursts of power so as to become superhuman and save the day time and time again. Little did he know that in the end his sharing of power in the form of demonic seals and blood had actually thinned the natural barriers his body and soul had developed in order to protect him from the real demonbeast king inside him. His body had been ravaged the first time he lost control to his inner spirit and even though his revelation had saved the lives of his team and those he had been escorting had they been amongst the enemy when Hyakujuuonouu had been unleashed then they all might be as scarred, or worse destroyed as the mountain range and landscape was from his excursion. The fall of the Titan and the shattering of the dojo’s wards had been a drop in the deep rage filled ocean that threatened to engulf Kuro every time he was forced to call upon his inner demon. Kuro had begun a regiment of heavy inverse gravity training that would bring his physical capabilities beyond their previous limits. His weighted iron gear weighed well in excess of eight pounds altogether but the culmination of mountain runs, ceiling squats, combat drills and chakra assisted pushups had allowed Kuro to reclaim his intense fabled strength without calling upon his inner demon. Kuro checked his calendar he still had two months to go before the next council summit and he had already recovered his strength.

Ability Slot 2 Self-Trained (Physical Style)
Kuro left a note for Sashi to possibly expect a woman named Asayada to come by. He also left an explanation of the events that happened during the tournament and how Kokuryuu had tricked him into doing his dirty work and further mocking him. Having grabbed his silver laced katana, three masks and four changes of clothes Kuro promptly closed his locker up and placed the seals surrounding the dojo on standby and exited the main entrance of the dojo to walk square into a group of twelve Yakuza from the Arishinikage.

Dabito Mamoto (lead thug): "Well, I can't believe it a Toraono that really isn't a Toraono. They must be scraping the bottom of the barrel if they will let mongrels like you into their family. Well most of the Toraono‘s are women anyway so it is no surprise to see a muscle bound beast of a man working for them." Dabito was dressed in a high priced black silk suit it was easy to distinguish him from the other thugs who wore little more than common black clothes or cast off Kimono’s.

Kuro paid them no heed, not sensing enough spirit or chakra energy in any of them to even give him pause he simply performed shishimai and was past their little blockade before they even knew he was past them, except Dabito. Dabito smirked as he appeared just in front of Kuro not but two steps ahead.

Smiling Kuro strained his senses further without drawing upon Hyakujuuonouu. Dabito was heavily enchanted, possibly carrying items of power of some sort. Sighing Kuro spoke up as the rest of the thugs ran up to catch up to them and surround him once more. "Before you start something that will end rather quickly and brutally as I am in no mood to be bothered, Please get out of my way. Not that I will not hesitate to destroy every bone in your bodies if you don't get out of my way."

Dabito smirked " You foolish Toraono’s always underestimate us, we know all about your training and your fights in the shadow tournaments, once we take your head back to our master we will be promoted and showered in riches and women and I will receive a second hell forged item." Dabito smiled brandishing a necklace with six points of swords spiraling out from a man in flames. "Let's get him!!"

Each man pulled a weapon with a dark aura around each one, Kuro decided instantly not to allow a hit from one of those. The men rushed in as fast as they could, Save Dabito following him step for step none were even a real threat save their weapons. (({Some offended lord's lap dogs} came the thoughts from Hyakujuuonouu)) Kuro simply weaved and smashed not even allowing a full shishiken attack to muster and efficiently demolished eleven men without wasting any energy. The first man in a blue kimono received an elbow to the face completely knocking him out. The second man received a short upper to the stomach forcing him to crumble to the sand in intense pain. The third attacker got it even worse as he received five swift body blows with a roundhouse kick finisher that knocked him on top of the first and second gangster that had fallen down earlier. The fourth attacker received a flying Knee to the face for an instant knockout as Kuro dodged Dabito whom made sneak attacks between Kuro’s counter assaults. The fifth attacker actually had the audacity to wear pink underwear until Kuro realized he was actually a she, a really ugly, overly muscled woman but it was too late as she received a vicious spinning hook sending her body twirling in mid-air before landing in a crumpled heap near the other four. Dodging Dabito again Kuro somersaulted over the sixth attacker, striking him after landing with a ridge hand to brachial plexus tie-in where his neck meets his shoulder. The seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh guy were all laid out after a series of shishimai -(Toraono style shadow dance technique)- enhanced spinning back hands put them down for the count. It had been an effective warm up, Dabito slashed and stabbed a dozen times at Kuro with an efficiency that was unnerving as if he was learning Kuro's moves as they fought. Other newcomers to the dojo that were exiting or coming to visit the dojo stopped to take pictures, others ushered their children indoors. Dabito was getting faster and faster until he finally landed a slash across Kuro's left forearm which immediately began to burn and ache. Dabito smiled rather wildly as he spoke quietly and quickly in rundarian terran (a twisted demonic version of runic terran) then slid his hand along the dagger. He quickly followed up with tapping the dagger with his now glowing necklace which lost a sword on it transformed into a double edged long sword. Kuro retrieved his katana from his pack before tossing his pack thirty feet aside. Slowly Kuro's eyes became purple and golden as he forced the spirit poison out of his soul and watched as the murky black energy dissipated into black pungent motes and ash.

Kuro had practiced many weapons besides his fists growing up, spear, katana, staff, sai ,even simple knives but he had to admit this was going to be one hell of a refresher. Even after shoving all the poison out Kuro felt slowed. Leaning back and taking an easy stance Kuro poured a decent amount of chakra into his runed silver laced Daibatsu Toraono special made barrier destroying katana. The blade shimmered with the amount of energy it carried. Squared off evenly Dabito became a flurry of stabs and slashes effectively keeping Kuro from attacking. Had Kuro been trying to attack it would have been even more or less but Kuro was simply waiting for an opening. After twenty four strikes, Kuro finally found an opening taking careful aim Kuro committed himself to one massive and hopefully precise strike. Kuro had timed it as best he could having analyzed Dabito's series of haphazard stabbing motions and slashes that Dabito had just attempted to strike him with.

Kuro held the sword in a reverse two hand grip with the hilt resting on his left hip and the sword freed from the scabbard. Time motioned to a slower pace as Dabito began to recover from his rushed attacks, Kuro simply slashed into the opening. The katana gleamed with energy and excellent craftsmanship, its edge heightened by spirit energy. It whispered through the air as Kuro brought his arms forward and across his chest as he subconsciously performed shishimai blurring past Dabito. The silver laced spirit enhanced katana slashed clean through Dabito's spirit aura barrier, his necklace and a small portion of Dabito's chest with the highly audible sound of metal striking metal follow by the sound of heavy breathing as Dabito crumpled to the ground. Kuro re-sheathed his katana after a quick inspection for dents which it didn't carry and yanked the necklace from Dabito and picked up the other piece of medallion. As Kuro held it Dabito's sword became a switchblade again and the dark murky aura faded away. Dabito pulled himself to one knee and screamed as his body slowly smoldered then burst into a roaring inferno. As his human body fell to ashes, a demon stood in his place. Stepping forth from the inferno stood a demon the height of seven feet, humanoid for the most part with a rather large black spiked tail. Claws on his hand and feet were also black, as were his horns. Kuro knew it was a lesser demon but still his aura made him as strong as a media rank. Dabito’s skin was like marble stained red with blue splotches, seemingly burned into the center of his chest was a man writhed with in flames. His neck looked to be thirty inches in diameter, his arms about twenty inches a piece, his build was rather broad and wiry. His eyes were black with silver fiery pupils. The rank scent of brimstone and burnt flesh became overwhelming.

Knowing a fight when he saw one Kuro immediately performed Kagewoutsusu no jutsu (mirror technique) with his left foot creating a sigil on the ground. Kuro poured even more energy into his fists and his katana as he prepared himself for a full force shishiken. For all his occult knowledge Kuro knew few things were the same about demons except for three things, the longer they stay in the human world the stronger they became. The more they devoured the more solid they became and each demon had some form of master and counter element. So Kuro knew he had to finish this one rather quickly.

They both rushed each other and the exchange of blows began... Kuro took several rapid punches to his face, chest, and stomach, but still managed dodge all the claw strikes. Kuro landed three solid shishiken strikes to the neck, stomach and right arm and a rather vicious sword slash to its left arm nearly severing the limb. As they passed each other they both took stock of each other's condition and noticed one another regenerating. For both Kuro and Dabito to be evenly matched made them both extremely angry.

Dabito hissed "You should be dead by now, that you match me stride for stride is pissing me off Toraono!!! I am Dabito the bone-gnawer and I shall be the instrument of your destruction!!!"Hellfire spiraled forth engulfing him in a nimbus of energy and granting Dabito fiery wings and claws. Slowly the majority of that hellfire collected into his right elbow as a gigantic bone spur emerged surging with hellfire. The onlookers and other students of the dojo got as far back as they could but they could not seem to peel their eyes away from the spectacle of this battle.

Seeing that the demon had made up his mind to end the fight Kuro knew what would happened if he countered that with his shishiken, he'd end up impaled like his battle with Mononoke. Smiling Kuro placed his sword in its sheath and placed it on his back as he focused as much natural energy as he could into his wrapped hands. His wraps began to shine like a smaller blue version of the sun. "I'd like to say thank you Dabito for the chance to use this technique... it's been too long since I used my own style of martial arts." With less than ten feet between them their swings would meet one another rather easily and as such they both swung their respective weapons with heartfelt killing intent.

Dabito screaming "By Makai's wrath!! Die TORAONOOOOooO!!!!"

Kuro using Kagewoutsusu no jutsu (mirror technique) to enhance his subtle movement and with his normal techniques becoming mundane used a technique he'd mastered long ago as he had practiced his hand to hand martial arts far more than he had practiced his mother’s kenjutsu. Now, however having learned the error of his ways in countless battles Kuro was ready to bring all his weapons to battle.

No scream, nor battle cry was uttered but inside Kuro's mind the name of the technique he would now learn to master passed across his lips as he struck in a concentrated whisper "Shishi ten haga ken.." (lion of heaven spirit strike) A massive energized shishiken attack poured forth from Kuro’s left fist, which blasted away a great majority of the hellfire barrier surrounding his foe and tore Dabito into five separate parts which began to disintegrate after they struck the sand. This left Kuro slightly drained as the remaining hellfire blasted him back ten feet leaving ruts in the paved stones leading to the dojo entrance. Kuro unsheathed his sword for another inspection finding it completely unmarred and even shinier and more refined. Checking himself he noted his gi hadn't burnt or carried a singed thread (hellfire resistant clothing) came the thought. "Arigato gozaimasu Sensei." Atop the dojo Daibatsu watched Kuro with pride, his puppeteer students had bound and gagged the remaining human gangsters and were dropping them off at the Suna ANBU station. High in the sky however a single figure stood in the mid-day sky, admiring Kuro's fight with hawk-like vision. Massive blue bat like wings extended from his shoulders, clawed feet gripped involuntarily, as red eyes took in every detail of Toraono Kuro. A humanoid body with twelve foot bat wings, eagle talon feet and eagle talon hands simply watched like a hawk watching its prey as he glided and maintained altitude on the massive warm currents of the desert.

Yomi Arashini: "How interesting he banished a lower demon as if it were as easy as swatting a disobedient child, yes this will be the final demonbeast spirit that will grant my lord all the power he needs."

(A memory from a childhood of swordsmanship that carried over the rest of his days)
Kuro went home that evening after a long day of what he called play but the other kids called training. Running and leaping from tree to tree, pretend fights with the other kids and music from all over the world. Today he had even got to watch TV and saw other kids doing the most amazing things. They called the show "American Bandstand", and it was highly entertaining. Kuro found himself mimicking their movements during their snack breaks. As he ran up the stairs to the loft Kozue was already waiting for him in the doorway. She looked a bit angry, as she had her hands on her hips and a tremble to her lips. "Kuro did you forget something at the class today?" Kuro thought back to himself before answering "No Sensei." Kozue immediately reverted to normal as she removed the stern look and replaced it with a happy smirk. "You forgot to walk home with me, silly little man, your mother doesn't want you traveling alone until you're at least one year old (although you'd probably look as if you were seven or eight years old by then)." Kuro nodded as he apologized "Gomen nasai Sensei." Kozue hugged him gently as she replied "At home it's Aunty K, dai-jo-bu?" Kuro smiled wide and full in the manner only a child could manage. "Hai, Daijobu Aunty K" as he took her hand and went inside Kozue began to make Kuro's evening snack of broiled salmon and breaded and fried pickle spears with ranch dressing. She steamed some rice for good measure before sitting down with Kuro to eat as well.

While they ate Azame flew in from the balcony entrance. "I'm home! How is my little Tora?" Kuro stood giggling and tossed two pickle spears at his mother which she caught with her teeth and began to munch on. "I've been good Mama, I got to race the kids through the trees, turn cartwheels, and I got to do stick practice." Azame smiled as she had finished eating her two pickle spears. "That's good son now go put your gear on so you can come to the training grounds and play with all of Mama's friends." Kozue nodded to Kuro as he went into his room and proceeded to put on his elbow pads, gloves, helmet, chest pad, shin guards, in that order. He jogged back out and saw Kozue and his mother at the door. "Race you to the training center Kozue yelled out before running down the stairs. Kuro peeled off after her as Azame simply shook her head and shut the door as she watched Kuro valiantly sprint to keep up with Kozue. She then proceeded to shadow step to the training circle to await their arrival. Today and every day until he had all thirty six advanced striking techniques committed to muscle and mental memory he'd be training with Kozue under her watchful eye.

Kozue came running up not more than six minutes later with Kuro huffing and puffing happily behind her. Such potential was all anyone could say when they saw the little one who in actuality was no more than a baby, running playing and learning at a phenomenal rate. The other Kensai sat in a circle as they prepared to bear witness to the child of their mistress another feat that many, including Azame herself had believed impossible. Over Twenty seven years old now she had gotten married on her birthday to a monstrous warrior by the name of Toraono Kaibudo. She had always loved the most daring and dangerous of men and that curse had given her the most startling thing. A child more dangerous than any in known Nobuku/Toraono history. Kozue picked up two boken and passed them to Kuro who nonchalantly plucked them from the air as easy as one might grab a cup from a counter. She then manifested her spirit blades and used her natural energy to forge them into a twin set of boken. The kensai were a bit unsettled by this; but they said nothing Yamanosuke (Kuro's Grandfather) did. "Sumimasen ...Kozue kun why are you wielding such a weapon against my grandson." While settling into a stance that Kuro instantly mimicked she answered "Because Kuro is a natural genius and if I used anything lesser I stand the chance of teaching him improperly...I need swords that I know and know me in return for precise fluid motion." All the other kensai nodded satisfied with the explanation Yamanosuke grinned at the thought. "Gomen Kozue kun I meant no offense I just thought you were expecting him to do that too." Azame almost shuddered as she thought about his comment. Kuro still carried the hilt of his father's broken katana wherever he went, even now he kept it wrapped in his sash.

Azame was not worried enough to take it from him though so instead of contemplate she got right to the matter at hand and called out the techniques she wanted demonstrated and mastered tonight. " Nijuu-ken Jutsu!! Juuni-maru Jutsu!! Ryu-bakuhatsu Justu!! Ni-shougeki Jutsu!! Tenraku-mikaihatsu Jutsu!! ((and the last and most difficult technique of the Nobuku twin blade style that she wanted him to know from childhood)) Karamiau Hissatsu Battou no jutsu!!!" All the kensai looked up as she shouted it, only four of the nine had mastered it and even they were loath to attempt it under scrutiny. Kozue nodded and turned to Kuro and became the teacher again. Kuro noticed the change immediately and stood firm and in wait, the tension he began to feel made his eyes dilate and the central pupil amid the violet iris sea of elongated from a circle to a cat like slit, a low aura began to emit from his body as he felt the need to concentrate.

Kozue moved so fast that only Azame could catch the movement as she appeared beside Kuro. "Follow my moves ok Tora." she told him and as she used his nickname he visibly relaxed and his aura lowered itself a couple of notches. She whispered to Kuro as she performed the first technique Nijuu ken no jutsu, Kuro smiled and nodded. She began and in perfect sync almost as if he had done it before they fell into motion from horse stance with left sword in a simple hammer grip trailing with the blade edge toward the ground, right hand blade held in a reverse single hand grip with the blades tips both pointed the same direction. The right blades came forth from his scabbards reflexively and flickered across the body defensively in a near imperceptible feint to hide the first strike; a vicious stab with the left hand sword lurched forward with a smooth yet delicate speed. The defensive swipe and feint became an abrupt slash in reverse to strike a point just above the original deep lunging stab.

Following the withdrawal of the original stab came a dual crossing swords slash before the blades were resheathed. "Four strikes.." They said in unison as Kuro did something entirely unexpected that made Kozue smile and everyone look on in a small tingle of awe. Completely caught up in the moment he turned a flip with no hands drawing his boken and double slashing during and after the cart wheel before sheathing his boken once again. "Eight strikes..." Now it was Kozue following his movement as they were once again in synch, spinning after a tiny leap for a combined draw and dual slash followed by a pirouetting blade chasing the other slash for six more slashes. "Fourteen strikes..." they said in unison as Kuro followed Kozue again their left hand moved as that of a fencer might stabbing in quick jab like movements for twin stabs. "Sixteen strikes ..." and even though he stumbled over a rock he was able launch himself into a horizontal twirl with his blades held defensively close to his body using the momentum and weight of his body to augment the centrifugal force to complete the final four strikes. They both landed in their original stances. Kozue was beaming and Kuro was sweating heavily with his long hair slightly plastered to his neck and forehead with a huge child-like grin as he stood before his Grandfather whom wore a matching huge grin. Azame raised her judgment card for an Eight point Five. The surrounding Kensai thudded their scabbards, selected weapons, fist, or even feet into the floor for recognition of such a high score. A perfect was a ten and no one ever got that but to get above an eight in Azame's eyes with the fluid nine point zero scoring movements of Kozue to follow was truly impressive. They bowed and took a break; in two minutes he had completed what it took Kozue three months to master and with his own variation. The next techniques would be taxing, even for her but she held no doubts that Kuro could do it.

Kuro hopped into the reinforced training ring, Gaul stepped into the other side of the ring. They both began to stretch and twist readying themselves as they both looked each other over as if neither was sure what was about to happen. Kuro was smiling, Gau was a little apprehensive but he had a stark look of determination. After wrapping their hands and putting on helmets they both turned to each other and bowed. Yamanosuke was impressed at Kuro‘s manners, it seemed Kozue was rubbing off on him. He leaned over to Gau and whispered “Could you show me some moves as we go?” Gau nodded as he whispered “Sure just keep up with me and don’t hit too hard, it’s hard to concentrate when you get hit real hard.” Kuro nodded as Yamanosuke stepped up pretending he couldn‘t hear the two planning their match. Gau rushed in with an obvious right cross Kuro did the same at almost the same speed. Although they tried not to hit each other too hard the impact of their fists knocked each of the young men back. Kuro smiled, Gau grinned and they rushed each other again Gau threw a right sidekick, Kuro reacted with a block. Gau followed up with a left hook, Kuro blocked this as well then countered with a spinning roundhouse. The fight was on, Kuro learning as he kept up with Gau’s techniques and Gau gradually losing his shyness.

Gau’s chakra wasn‘t rising near as fast as Kuro’s however so it seemed that Yamanosuke might have to call the match but Kuro was showing remarkable restraint or was he? Yamanosuke paid closer attention, as he focused his eyes on more minute details he noticed Kuro was truly going all out, it was Gau that was tempering his techniques and allowing Kuro to counter. In truth had Yamanosuke not looked closely he wouldn‘t have noticed how much faster Gau actually was compared to Kuro. As Gau’s mindset eased up his abilities increased as if he had been in a slump of some kind. The kicks were the first to become too fast for Kuro to keep up with battering him about the ring much to Mononoke’s satisfaction. Then the punches came in much, much faster demolishing Kuro with body blows. Gau was still holding back, when Kuro actually managed to catch one of his hooks, he looked up with a bruised face, “I’ve seen this combo already Gau, show me something new.” Gau nodded as if they had some unspoken agreement that no one else could ever know “Ok, I’ll show you three of my strongest techniques, keep your guard up ,” Kuro interrupted “Don’t worry about me, Sensei has watchers to keep us from hurting each other too much.” Gau nodded again as he closed his eyes and chanted to himself “Wari wa motikinai, nothing can withstand the might of my Kage Ryu, with these techniques I am unstoppable!! " Yamanosuke nodded as he realized what Gau was doing. He was using self-hypnosis to unleash his full potential, and as such Gau‘s chakra increased exponentially.

Kuro smiled as Gau realized his full attack and defensive ability. “I see, that technique is very impressive, I have something like that, my first teacher told me to never use it when practicing swordsmanship, but I can’t see her getting mad at me for using it in hand to hand combat.’

Kuro took a Toraono channeling stance. Yamanosuke shook his head as if to say no as he realized this was something else Kaibudo had unwittingly taught Kuro without prior conditioning. It began as a small spark as a violet aura began to leak from Kuro’s hands. Gau’s aura had taken on a vibrant crimson, as slowly more aura began to leak from Kuro’s body in wisps then like gas caught fire it exploded forth around him in flame as pieces of the ring flew off into the air as the both unleashed their all. Gau became a massive blur as he whipped in with his second technique. “Kage Ryu Jutsu -Juuichi Senpuu Ken!!!” Eleven whirlwinds roared to life and stringed into one hundred and ten punches as they connected one after another into Kuro flinging him into the air as Gau appeared above Kuro “Kage Ryu Jutsu… Fray!!” A series of eleven explosions followed by a massive earth shattering fist striking him as it slammed Kuro into the center of the ring as Gau landed exhausted. He got ready to exit the ring content he had given his all when a massive surge of chakra told him the match wasn’t over. Kuro walked from the crater that he had created in the center of the ring. He was a battered mess but healing steadily “That was great Gau, I’m really impressed, it gave me the idea for this technique; I’ll name it in honor of your school and my father’s Toraono Kage Ryu Jutsu… Sunder” Moving nearly as fast as Gau had Kuro appeared just beneath Gau’s guard giving him a fierce body blow which launched him into the air, but where Gau’s technique allowed him to appear above Kuro appeared beneath Gau again striking him in the stomach three more times, swiveling mid-air to back hand Gau beneath him, and although his guard was still up Kuro kept pummeling him all the way down into a new but lesser crater than what he himself had been bashed into. Both kids stood exhausted after the impact and then fell out to be caught by blurs and taken to medical chambers by medical nin. Yamanosuke shook his head “I’ll have to remind them not to kill themselves training …”

Kuro found himself blushing before asking "Hyousei-chan anatta wa dai jo bu?" Hyousei smiled and nodded as she began to play in his silky silver locks “I’ve never seen young men with silver gray hair before, but it looks very cute on you; what nationality are you exactly?” Kuro blushed a little more as he answered “I’m Sunagakure Toraono Clan and Wind Country Nobuku Royalty.(he didn’t mention the demon beast portion)” Hyousei nodded as if to say of course. “Well I’m getting ready to go home after I finish my pull-ups for the day mind if I braid your hair before I go?” Kuro had finally stopped blushing and shrugged “Sure, I guess, why not? (as it would get in the way during practice.)” Hyousei had Kuro sit down and she sat behind him. Kuro was sitting cross-legged but Hyousei was right behind him and even without his heightened sense Kuro could smell the perfume mixed with sweat and her own natural scent. It was actually quite intoxicating and reminded him of Kozue except where Kozue smelled like the forest Hyousei smelled like flowers.

Swiftly she had his hair forming one single braid kind of like her father’s hair. “So how old are you Kuro?” Hyousei asked a question as she began to finish the third portion of his braid. Kuro almost blurted out five years old but looked at how he had grown and spoke a generalization instead “Oh, I’m ten years old.” Yamanosuke was standing at the corner once again impressed that his grandson had even mustered the courage to lie about his age and hide his secret. Although the elder council and the master kensai knew of him, No one wanted any problems with his growth spurts or anyone to question them. He was already going to have to be sent to study with Azame again in just over a year so Yamanosuke was scrambling to make sure everything was ready. Hyousei finished the braid and took a silk ribbon from her own hair and tied the final portion. “Well I think you are very cute and when you turn thirteen I shall be fifteen and I’d very much like it if you were to take me to my home village winter formal, having a handsome man like you with me would make all the other girls there jealous.” Kuro didn’t quite understand what she meant by formal but he had heard of his mother arranging one and knew it involved a lot of food, it must take three years to get all the food ready. Still food was always good thing. Kuro smiled and replied “I would be honored to go to your winter formal in three years, but I grow really fast, you might not recognize me in three years.” Hyousei smiled as she played with his braid a little, “No, with hair and eyes like yours, you’d be impossible to forget and I’ll hold you to your word.”

Kuro smiled and waved as she got up to go finish her pull-ups. Tenmou had been on the roof with Mononoke eavesdropping on the conversation and was quite angry that a ten year old was chosen to go to the Harenochiame Formal over him, Mononoke was simply upset that Kuro existed. Tenmou slammed his right fist into his left palm “I hate this runt, how did he manage to get the attention of the most beautiful girl in class?” Mononoke wasn’t really concerned about that but an ally was an ally “How about after we get stronger we beat him up so he can’t walk much less go to the formal.” Tenmou thought about it for a moment then replied “Nah that’s too harsh but beating him up period over the next few years sounds good.” Mononoke managed a soft smile although his actual one was quite feral “Sounds good as soon as we know what we’re up against we’ll start doling out the extra lessons.” A ninja automatically reported this to Midori ne chan whom after entering their plans into a daily journal notified Yamanosuke. Yamanosuke almost laughed ((If the two of them had any idea what they were actually toying with they’d run for their lives.)) He decided to let it play out, no child grows up without a few hard knocks in their life.

Mononoke and Tenmou followed Kuro into the abandoned training grounds the next evening. They had been excused from class early for finishing all their studies for the day. The evening mists were just rolling from the large grass fields that had grown over the old training grounds. There they found Kuro practicing on some old ironwood dummies that still managed to swivel when struck. Tenmou zipped right over and struck Kuro in the side, bowling the startled youngling over, more dismayed than hurt Kuro stood with a questioning look on his face. “What’s going on Tenmou, Mononoke? Did you come to train?” Mononoke stood nearby watching, waiting, hating as Tenmou spoke up “Yeah we came to train ((then looking at Mononoke and noticing the intense look in his eyes))well at least I did. So what do you say Kuro, want to have a match?” Kuro shrugged the difference between a real spar and a training dummy obvious. “Sure, I have two hours before class that I normally spend in meditation, but I haven’t had a sparring partner in quite some time, I can meditate later.” Tenmou grinned “Sure a sparring partner is just what you need, how’s about we make it interesting, if you lose I get to take Hyousei to her Winter Formal.” Kuro shrugged again as he stretched out before taking his stance. “Umm ok, but I think that’s her decision, she asked me, I don’t even know exactly what a formal is.” Tenmou got even angrier at Kuro’s ignorance and apparent innocence. Mononoke had went and leaned on a tree intent on finding some weakness he could exploit as he watched the fight. Tenmou took his traditional Seiryuu stance. “Ok Kuro, just like the initial tournament you better go all out or this will hurt a lot.” ((this is gonna hurt you period.)) Tenmou thought to himself.

Tenmou charged Kuro and with his high speed easily closed the distance, he lashed out with an energized kick that knocked Kuro across the field along with all the air in him. Struggling to breath Tenmou fell from the sky viciously pummeling Kuro with left and right combinations. The initial kick had been the damaging one, everything else Kuro was just going through the motions. Tenmou raised his left fist and charged it with energy then brought it down into Kuro’s chest once again knocking all the air from him and shocking him. He had been straddling him since the kick but not seeing much fight coming from Kuro he picked him up by the throat further impairing his breathing, “Fight back, or are you a cowardly demon like your father was?!” Kuro had heard from the old master that his father had changed into a demon during a training session gone wrong but to have him called a coward was too much for his young mind to accept. He knew both from memory and instinctively that his father was anything but a coward. The medical nin got ready to intervene when Kaibudo grabbed them by the shoulders “They’ll be fine, watch and document is all Yamanosuke requires for now, I will personally interrupt this if it becomes truly life threatening.” The two ninja nodded and continued to maintain their vigil while Kaibudo went to another tree to watch over the students more carefully.

Kuro grasped the left hand that had been choking him by the thumb and peeled his grip away from his throat, completing the release and defensive stance with a one armed monkey toss. Mononoke was no longer leaning against the tree as he watched intently as the real Kuro he had sought began to emerge. Tenmou was stunned and looked the part completely as he got up to find Kuro was now quite upset. “NO ONE CALLS MY FATHER A COWARD!!!!” Kuro took an advanced Toraono stance one neither Mononoke nor Tenmou had ever seen, one his father had always used. Tenmou laughed “All demons are COWARDS and since your father was one he must be a COWARD!!” Kuro couldn’t take anymore as his chakra surged violently as he and his dark side synchronized. His nails darkened turning completely black, then became claws. Aura surged from his body as the earth around him began to shudder and crack. The clouds above them darkened and swirled as a storm began to react with Kuro’s anger. The winds became violent and swirled through the trees and the forest as Kuro swiped at Tenmou. Five violet streaks of chakra tore the air and the earth like a massive claw. Mononoke was amazed as Kuro instinctively performed Shishiken the lion’s strike.

Not unlike Tora no ken the Fist of the tiger which the Byakko Clan wielded, but far more violent, unpredictable and with a shorter range. Tenmou dodged all but the last portion of the strike. Taking a large cut to his left arm. “I see that you can use your inner power but you have no destructive arts if that had been a destructive art I’d probably have lost all or part of my arm. Since you’re finally serious I can be serious too.” Using the lightning from the storm clouds as fuel Tenmou surged with chakra calling a bolt down upon him, as lightning struck him Tenmou performed Tengokusatsu opening his heaven gate, His wound healed in a bright flash of electric blue aura as his tattoo filled in a little more, now no longer an outline, it had eyes and scales but it was still flesh tone. Mononoke understood it as he understood his tiger stripes, every time they summoned some of the power of their God Beast they were changed bit by bit but Tenmou had opened Heaven’s Gate as well which meant he would be unstoppable for a short time. Tenmou’s hair went from black to shimmering blue, his eyes became completely electric blue as well. His hair seemed to be caught in a perpetual wind as he rushed Kuro again. “Now let’s see what you can really do.” Mononoke was nodding “Yes let’s see.” Tenmou was still faster than Kuro so Kuro couldn’t evade his attacks so he parried them one after another.

Kuro blocked a spinning heel kick, then used his right elbow to block a vicious left cross. He hopped over a spinning leg sweep only to get caught by the follow up flying spin kick which knocked him clean through a set of old practice dummies. After that every punch landed with brutal, powerful efficiency. A heavy right cross to the face flung Kuro into a tree making a deep impression with his skull. A fierce right handed body blow made him double over as the force lifted him off the ground to make a deeper impression in the tree with his body. Kuro collapsed as he fell from the ever growing impression in the massive tree grabbing his stomach. Tenmou caught Kuro by the chest with his left hand lifted him back up, charging his right with excess energy from the lightning bolt, he bashed him massively into the tree sending a surge of lightning through Kuro causing the air to smell like singed flesh. Kuro hit the ground seemingly unconscious, Tenmou began to walk off his hair turning black again but his eyes still hyper charged as his Tengoku gate closed inside him once again. Kuro’s clawed hands gouge the earth as he stood. His voice deepened by the surge of electricity that had went through him earlier sounded truly demonic “Is that the best you can do TENMOU?! Opening the bridge to heaven’s gate is only temporary, now you suffer the temporary weakness that comes from using that technique, or did you think calling upon Seiryuu’s power would offset that weakness?” Tenmou did not seem too surprised as he turned around and rushed Kuro again.

“You are fast so that did give you a temporary advantage but that advantage is gone I’ve seen this attack before.” Kuro performed shishi no mai flawlessly and stutter stepped to the side of Tenmou and struck his entire flank with a shishiken. Tenmou endured the violent chakra with a defensive surge of his on taking five scars to the ribs instead of being ripped asunder. Tenmou grinned “That won‘t work on me either. “ Kuro grinned back at Tenmou, then he took a deep breath his pectoral muscles hyper flexed beyond their maximum limits stretching his diaphragm. Like the Ancient Indian Yoga practice of taking in a breath to its maximum extent and oxygenizing one’s blood so that one could live for an extended period without breathing from sunset to sundown. Instead Kuro used the Shishi-ken principal of attack, instead of using the air gathered by increased pectoral muscle practice to live on a single breath, he exhaled that air in a focused burst of chakra and used it as a weapon performing Shishi ku - The Lion’s Roar and paralyzed Tenmou. Tenmou’s nerves were in sonic shock when Kuro performed another Shishi ken technique. Shishi ha - Lion’s blast like a clap of thunder he summoned a compressed ball of air between his hands and channeled it with his anger into a compressed fireball that knocked the stunned Tenmou into the same tree he had been pummeled into. Mononoke’s rage increased as well for this technique resembled Byakko Ko Ken that used wind and ice to stun and injure the opponent all at once.

Tenmou stood back up and used his Double Barrel Electric Barrage, Kuro performed shishi no mai - dance of the lion, dodging the blow and closing the distance between him and Tenmou where they both used their blast techniques close up. The techniques canceled one another out but they had charged in behind their attacks and began an all-out battle fist to fist, kick to kick, neither was dodging anymore just waiting for an opening to finish their match. Both were tired and their chakra wavering, Mononoke saw his opening and leaped to attack Kuro only to be stopped by a massive grip to his shoulder. He looked to his right in dismay to find Kaibudo standing beside him with his arm draped over him like a little brother. “You weren’t going to interfere were you?” Mononoke had to think of an excuse quick “Why umm yes, I was going to stop the fight , they are getting a bit too serious.” Kaibudo nodded accepting the answer although he was certain Mononoke was going to blindside Kuro. Tenmou smashed Kuro in the jaw with a left hook, Kuro caught Tenmou with a fierce uppercut. They both saw the opening at the same time Tenmou gave out one last massive electrified punch, Kuro flipped backwards with a somersault kick, the punch missed and the kick connected knocking him cold. Kuro moved in to finish the fight only to find Kaibudo kneeling in front of him with a calming touch to the chest. “Calm down son, Tenmou-san held back he knows destructive arts and could have used them, he showed restraint and you should as well, he fought you on the same level when he could have really upped the ante and fully transformed.” Kuro calmed down and his claws dissipated into normal finger nails, as he grasped what had transpired. “So if he had wanted to ?” Kaibudo nodded “Yes, he could’ve seriously injured you or even possibly killed you had he went all out.” Kuro shuddered as he felt very small and powerless he had been fighting at his limit and Tenmou knew it and worse still Mononoke was sitting there watching him flailing at his limits. He had been extremely lax in his training ((in his mind anyway) “Gomen Atuinsah, I will head to class and train harder when next you see me fight I will surpass Tenmou. Mononoke was utterly flabbergasted at what he had just overheard, Kuro having found out he was seriously weaker than Tenmou and therefore himself was going to train harder to surpass them by next month’s scheduled mid-term tournament. Remembering he had to master his own bestial transformation Mononoke went home to talk with his father it was time for some intensive training. He was going to need his first six Tora no Koroe before he faced Kuro, if Kuro was going to return stronger then so would he.

Wind Affinity (Minor)

The last thing Kuro remembered before waking up in the demon realm was sparring with several of his ANBU trainees before being hit with several earth elemental jutsu’s at the same time that apparently reactivated some of the more ancient barrier wards of his home. Kuro awoke in a strange place but the stones at his back were obviously from his dojo although the markings and runes were very strange. His pulse was far lower than usual and his movements slowed which showed he had indeed suffered from a blood-borne venom, apparently someone else had figured out that airborne toxins had no effect on him. Â Kuro started to black out again as his attempt to stand had caused his blood to re-circulate the toxins through his body again, but he found the will to stand regardless as the weakness and dizziness all but faded away.

Kuro was once more in a pocket of the demon realm, the air here was warm yet he could see tiny motes in it before he exhaled. A violet sky tainted the scenery with a dingy relief and look. A soothing, warm breeze touched him as he managed to stand on wobbly legs. Kuro found himself looking into the eye of a gigantic serpent; a serpent so massive that he was too close to see its entire head. Â The feeling of sluggishness faded to a dull throb across his shoulders. His trainees had mastered their team work a bit too well but no matter how pleased he was with their performance he had a new problem to deal with at the moment. This was the second time he had faced a serpent demon and this one radiated a dense presence of earth based strength. His left arm surged with wind chakra helping him clear his blood of the earth chakra based toxin.
“Before you attack me, allow me to introduce myself. I am called Tokishi, I am a dream eater and I recognize that you are the reincarnation of the Beast King. I beg of you to free me as you did for my sister Soshi , I ask only that my mind remains my own and anything else is of little or no consequence to me. I only wish to be free to breath real air and eat real food, I will not harm innocents or devour the dreams of others that do not threaten me I give you my spirit oath.”

Kuro’s body naturally rejected the venom but he still had to focus his chakra to remove its latent affects. In less than a minute, Kuro was up and focused without confusion or numbness. He did retain a severe ache but after his training with Keseo Ryu and his medical training he was able to focus minute bursts of wind chakra to isolate and expunge the venom in his body. This snake demon’s realm was a massive jungle of ancient trees with massive thorns among the branches. The whole of the area was laced with a sweet yet bitter scent, along with the tang of tree sap oozing amber, thick, viscous flow along the younger yet equally massive trees. Kuro flexed his clawed hands and watched as the mists fell from the skies giving everything a faint yet all too healthy glow. Kuro pulsed with wind chakra as he his claws lengthened on his left hand, and his senses sharpened. The air was not clean but it wasn’t toxic either; the sounds of demonic jungle life were wild and vibrant and the sounds of death were oddly very infrequent considering the nature of demons and their interactions with one another for power.

Kuro felt none of the deceit that Soshi had perpetrated when pulled into her domain and Kuro could also feel the pain wracking the imprisoned demonbeast. “Seeing as how I was pushed and pulled into your domain by both the actions of my trainees and your waning power. I would be disinclined to free you from your prison, unfortunately I can also see and feel the pain of regret in your eyes and your spirit. I will free you but you will never be the same again and your natural abilities will suffer. I am sure you would prefer the freedom of a mortal existence to this.” Tokishi released a sigh of relief at Kuro’s words. Kuro focused his chakra, then his dark chakra into his transformation slowly releasing the limiting bonds he had carefully grown into. Before he released a massive surge of demonic chakra as Hyakujuuonouu granted his permission for Tokishi’s release as well. He too could sense that the once mighty earth serpent did indeed regret his past and wished only for freedom in any form save death.
Where once a diminutive Kuro had stood now stood a mighty Devil Lord, Kuro had gone beyond being a mere half demon creature of chaotic destruction. Kuro was a devil, a strict destroyer of souls held in the grasp of dark demonic chakra by a strict set of laws that governed his existence and gave him absolute control over the dark powers within all beings at a small cost to his immortal soul. Â “During my time bonded with the true beast king I have learned a great deal about many things and found that I still have a great deal more to learn. I am about to release you from your prison but I must warn you, despite the pain you are experiencing now what I must do to free you is a far more excruciating event than you may have ever endured. Prepare yourself.”
Tokishi raised his head to bow to Kuro His mind and spirit thrummed with agony as Kuro’s spiritual - psychic seal removal shattered and shredded his astral and mental being leaving his body to crumple against the jungle forests. Kuro’s right hand summoned a massive Akuma kaze rasengan. “The roar of the beast king shatters its foes for all eternity “ A hyper sonic boom resounded as his devil wind technique obliterated his giant serpent body leaving Tokishi in a newfound humanoid form as tiny motes of serpentine flesh disintegrated in the wind.

A resounding cracking sound followed by a sharp burst of wind shook the entire realm which was both Tokishi’s prison and his body. “Thank you, I never thought you would have to shatter every ward upon my mind, body, and soul to free me but when I felt my sister’s prison strangely empty some time ago I reasoned that the beast king had returned and had shown mercy I was able to regain a mortal body only after you shredded my mind and reduced my demon condensed form to pure energy. I must thank you for having taken mercy upon my soul. How may I compensate you for your kindness?”

Kuro returned to his natural state with an act of will before he replied to the dark skinned man with yellow serpent eyes. “Two things, first you must use your abilities to help the innocent, second, you must never devour another human soul.” Tokishi bowed low to the ground as he bit his new-found thumb and made a blood seal at Kuro’s feet. “You have my solemn oath upon my reborn soul.”

Fire Affinity Minor

When Kuro returned from his mission guarding the Imperial child Prince of Wind Country his usage of wind chakra had changed along with his demonic abilities. Through the awakening of Hyakujuuonouu whom had slept inside him since he was conceived Kuro had developed a vast amount of elemental resonance within him. The winds still responded to his call but not so much as the wrath of flame. Kuro sat alone in his meditation chamber and focused his will on several scrolls. Each scroll was marked with runic terran seals to resonate with one of the primal elements and a couple of combined elements to test Kuro’s growing affinity for the elements. Kuro originally only had the capability to use wind without seals but now Kuro found he could wield fire chakra with ease. As Kuro focused his will upon the first scroll he reached out to it hardened into stone which quickly became superheated and began to crack and melt before he set it down allowing it to return to its natural state. His earth jutsu usage had always been a strain but he could still call upon lesser amounts of earth chakra although eventually they ignited through his newfound fiery influence. The second scroll Kuro grabbed pulsed with surges of cool air, the chamber quickly filled with a swirling dervish of wind causing Kuro’s hair to be blown about exposing the true length of his horns, making him resemble the tales of the Oni of old despite his natural sun kissed skin tone. The breeze quickly became a searing wind of superheated air until Kuro placed the scroll back among the rack of scrolls. Kuro sighed as he looked to his right hand and felt the tell tale signs of chakra burns beginning just beneath his calloused palms. Content that he had tested his strengths ever so lightly Kuro retired to his own bedroom to await another day of training and pushing himself and his peers to new heights. While he slept however the end of his tail lit up with a bright blue flame before literally blacking out like the cinders of a cigar. The weighted rings he used to train his tail to maintain his balance levitated ever so briefly during the surge of natural and demonic chakra.

Fire Affinity Major

The battle began in earnest as wave after wave of the damn descended upon Zoanostra. Even the mighty Jigoku wyrm couldn’t get them all. Those that escaped or were protected against his righteous flames swarmed the city, alarm klaxons blared, bells rung. The citizens of Jigoku took up arms, Kuro struggled to wake, he was drowsy and dazed from his episode. From being flat on his back to sitting upright rather violently, Kuro looked as if he had been dragged through Jigoku instead of just walking through it. His shoulders, legs, and hands ached intensely; Tielzu took him by the hand as Kuro struggled off the table onto shaky feet. “I hate to ask you for help in your condition but everyone in this city must fight if we are to survive.” Kuro nodded with uncertainty before recalling all of his training under Kaibudo. He suddenly stood ready as the pendant he had envisioned during his state of shock now sat inside of his clenched right palm glinting silver and black, Jigoku forged ginto. Concentrating clearly even as his stomach was queasy with fear, a spirit weapon formed in Kuro’s left hand ‘Konjou Kaji’. Brought forth from the massive amount of fire chakra in the brimstone stained air and channeled through the pendant with a sense of urgency that came from the will to live. It came into being almost an exact replica of the honor blade Kuro’s mother had trained him with when he was younger. Tielzu and the others looked at each other, concern over Kuro’s growing destructive powers etched on each of their faces. Kuro leaned up from his medical analysis and looked at the readouts the table had spewed. It was in an ancient dialect yet oddly Kuro found himself able to read and understand it. "I'm dehydrated, have a cold most likely from sand and brimstone and now we are under attack... (The thought of running struck him ever so briefly but he willed it away) Lady Tielzu... how can I help?" The familiar weapon firmly grasped in his hand as he pushed himself off the table and unto his feet. Well trained fighters and spell swords surged from the barracks and homes within Jigoku as the bounty hunters of the city spilled forth to protect their homes. The steadfast six looked to Tielzu and nodded and headed to their respective areas to guard the vital areas of Zoanostra and the city atop his back. Queen Tielzu looked long and hard at Kuro before she made her decision. "These are not just some rag tag band of demons; this is a full scale assault by one of the lords of Jigoku and if we can't repel them that which is most precious could be lost. I don't sense in you the power necessary to free us from Jigoku yet, but if you take my niece with you she should be able to guide you to a sacred altar where you can summon an Avatar, once you have an avatar at your side you will be both stronger and that much more vulnerable because if your Avatar is destroyed there is a chance that you can be destroyed as well. I wish I could explain more but without an Avatar and wielding what little destructive power you do have you may do more harm than good. Talia take Kuro to the sacred altar and help him summon an Avatar, then go hide yourselves in the portal chamber." A girl came from behind a row of runes and machines, she was stunning with her beauty, she looked like a woman that had been turned into a fairy, her skin and eyes sparkled with a radiance that made Kuro's jaw drop. She couldn't have been older than fifteen or sixteen but only those accustomed to Jigoku and its seasons could know anyone's true age in the temporally maligned dimension that was Jigoku. She stood at five feet exactly and from her movement couldn't have weighed more than one hundred and ten pounds as she bounded around the table in a mad scramble grabbing Kuro's sword arm and pulling him along. A silver giant came into being beside Queen Tielzu as she too leapt into battle. The city itself was a battlefield, arrows, spells, swords, axes, daggers, and powers forgotten by the world of man struck out at one another as demon hunters and Jigoku-borne fought Hel's minions. The jinchuruki’s proved too strong to face by all except the six. They recognized their now empty and controlled comrades with a whisper of sorrow and a distinct hatred for the demigod Lady Hel that had done this to them. They separated and began their own death matches, while the armies of Hel were driven out of the city one unyielding soldier at a time.

Talia and Kuro ran on cutting through back alleys and passages that only Talia could know, leaping fences when necessary, dropping into silence when an enemy patrol came close. Talia pulled Kuro close whispering in his ear, his heart began to thump loudly in his chest. ((How can I be thinking of kissing her in the middle of a war?!!)) This was the thought that echoed through his mind as she told him their situation. "We are three blocks from the portal chambers and it looks like the soldiers attacked here first... this is odd, we can make it because there are places in the portal chamber of the Temple no one can reach except me and the Queen so stay close and let's go..." As they ran out across the street enemy soldiers sprang from the surroundings, no word was said, all four soldiers attacked as one. They had been tracking them since they left the medical facility.

Talia was as beautiful as she was deadly as her kicks lashed out unleashing brutal plasma blade waves that sliced into the two soldiers that attacked her. Her right leg shot up vertically as the air became searing hot in the wake of her movement before a wave of plasma ripped forth severing one soldiers arm, cauterizing the wound at the same time. As he fell to the ground screaming she continued her initial somersault which as it was completed she followed the first attack with a kick that resembled a dancer's spin. The movement of her left leg unleashing another plasma wave blade that chopped the second soldier in half and gutted the third warrior causing him to drop to the ground holding his heat seared intestines. Kuro's destructive fire blade unleashed a series of massive fireballs that ripped massive holes in the soldier that attacked him. His initial shot caused a small hole in the burly soldier's chest but a massive explosion of the warrior's spine and upper back. The second soldier that had attacked Talia wasn't quite as lucky as Kuro's next shot blew his left leg clear off along with a portion of his left hand; just as her plasma blade kick cut him in two.

A flash of chakra from Kuro’s flame blade struck the shield of an advancing soldier of Hel giving him time to recognize the truth of the blast as the shield simply disintegrated. As the spiritual energy of the shield exploded the flash of it momentarily blinded the soldiers in all too well known display of power. The veteran soldiers within the group knew Kuro for what his power displayed. “There be no coming back from the dead after a blow from this one lads, he be a Half demon and can truly annihilate our souls.” All seven veterans rubbed their eyes clear and looked upon the true threat before them. They all looked at Kuro with a sense of awe and respect, few Half demons were ever found in the confines of hell or anywhere else in the afterlife. A couple of the more stout soldiers nodded in agreement at what they faced. “Your wrath is well known among the damned Half demon, many a being would like to have the power to destroy souls, seeing as how you are here in the midst of our invasion and stopping us from taking Princess Talia prisoner then we find it odd that we must face a Half demon, your kind is all but extinct. I know because I slew more than my fair share when I was a ninja of Iwagakure, since I doubt you’re gonna walk away with your half demon pride and all that babble how about we handle this like true gentlemen.” Even as he finished speaking his companion behind him launched a spear but it was aimed for Talia not Kuro. His intuition told him he would be facing a hard battle as he moved with a burst of chakra beneath his feet. Kuro's next action was unmistakable, unbelievable and filled the attacking soldiers with a sense of overwhelming confidence. The spear launched from on high surged forth its unerring aim would have skewered Talia. Kuro jumped in front of her the spear piercing his left lung causing him to collapse and spit up blood. The wound was not fatal, of that he was certain but he wouldn't be moving fast either without the use of his half demon abilities. “Have at her boys he won’t be stopping us now, for Lady HEL!!!” Talia shrieked as dozens of soldiers threatened to overwhelm her.

Blood bubbled up from his throat which he spat on the ground before him. The pain brought forth an eerie rage that left Kuro capable of full thought capacity and something else, righteousness. Chakra surged all about his body as he stood with a power beyond that of any of the attacking soldiers, the power of fiery destruction. With a cry of rage and will to carry out the oath to which he had taken to the Queen of the city that he had been told he was the savior of. He stood with the pride of a true demon as he brought forth his spirit weapon to bear upon the multiple assailants. With the righteous wrath of a fallen angel Kuro pointed his weapon with his left hand at the onslaught of thirty soldiers that thought they were going to capture the Princess of Jigoku. His flame blade unleashed a blistering series of fiery blasts that wounded or killed over thirty soldiers in a gory display of power. A short stout warrior swept his left arm in a downward arc unleashing a double hand axe in a low spinning arc. Even impaled Kuro sidestepped the thrown weapon, but what Kuro did next was the shocker. Energizing the spear that had pierced his left lung Kuro literally fired it from his own wound into several soldiers now behind him. The spear pinned them all to the wall of the alleyway. Another warrior rushed Kuro as he brought his flaming blade into the attacker’s overhand grip the rotation of chakra along the cutting edges causing a high pitched whine as the tendons along his wrist were severed and cauterized. Sending his second axe flying in an arc above and behind him as Kuro slipped into his battle stance. In a crisp, precise, movement Kuro became the terror of the demon spawn all around as the moves of his foes became useless as the flow of chakra within the Devil Kuro had become came to life. Moving in synch with the mob of one hundred and twenty soldiers recently thinned to a little over ninety Kuro’s fiery rage became a living thing as fiery chakra wrapped around his body and further enhanced his blade. The battle raged on for six more minutes as he stopped bleeding out from his cauterized wound, as he used his every moment to protect Talia. Then Kuro awakened from his deep slumber with a violent ache to his left side. His meditation chamber was marred with scorched blade marks. His honor blade rested in his left hand surging with an aura of fiery chakra. Kuro carefully sheathed his demonfang sword before leaving the meditation chamber to the repair seals of the dojo. His dreams had become too real and were affecting his actual daily habits.

Exactly eight years later Kuro met Yamazaki Suzuhime whom was the exact spitting image of Princess Talia. Kuro would never tell her though.

Shiro grinned and nodded at Suzuhime-san's explanation. She was about to warn her about being touchy feely with her sister and mother when Midori drew her blade and presented herself. "I'm not feeling very friendly today, so here is my greeting..." Her blade lashed out with emerald lightning the same color as her eyes. For a brief moment she seemed to be intent on cutting Suzuhime down. Time slowed for Suzuhime because she could literally taste Midori's fury, she was quite indignant, and appalled that any girl had gotten so close to her little brother without so much as a peep from them. No one was good enough for her little brother the last born of the triplets. She was her mother's daughter and her blade although not aimed to kill would have surely destroyed Suzuhime's clothes. Then there was an abrupt clap as Midori's emerald lightning enhanced flames were gripped by Kuro's mental aura as it enwrapped her blade stopping it inches from Suzuhime's chest. Midori was shocked again she looked at Suzuhime whom was now moving skyward thinking it was her for a brief moment before she looked at Kuro. His eyes had changed, where they were once pitch black they were now true demon eyes, feline demon eyes but not Hyakujuuonouu's they were Kuro's true eyes, the ones that his opponents only glimpsed in those moments when his fury was righteous. This was not fury at all that Kuro was expressing; Kuro was simply reacting to Suzuhime's emotions with his naturally overprotective nature. Suzuhime found herself floating overhead in the same instant. She could feel his mental energy embracing her small frame gently around the stomach and upper arms and simply being lifted into the air almost the same way he carried her with one arm when her emotions got the better of her when they met.

"Midori chan calm yourself, you are reacting to her spiritual nature which oddly resonates with any emotion and intensifies it. Please search your feelings and find your natural impulses, not the ones that embrace you but the ones you have cherished since mother taught us how to use a blade."

Shiro was frozen in place as was Kuro's mother Azame, they knew Kuro practiced in his demon restraining chamber a lot lately but they had never seen Kuro display his powers like this. This was new, it was intense and as they saw his eyes and his left hand move they could see it required a great deal of focus. That was no mere feat or chakra activity, Kuro had used a jutsu that no one had ever seen before.

Chakra Disruption Blade - Special Weapon
RSCDB.jpg

A special blade made completely out of the unique chakra of a Rikudo Sennin; one that absorbs all chakra with the slightest touch from any organism. This weapon is able to be created at any point and nearly instantly by the Rikudo Sennin, springing out sharp jet-black metallic rods from their body to use to strike their victims. The absorptive properties of this chakra-blade is strong enough to leave normal shinobi drained of energy; while any chakra absorbed by this blade will automatically transfer to the user to replenish their own energies.

- The user may have one Chakra Disruption Blade as a normal weapon that can be augmented before battle, but must follow the Weapon Creation Rules. This applies to each individual body.

You can only choose one damage type on weapons. Not 2.

- Every Chakra Disruption Blade created after the first does not gain Augment Slots and costs 100 Cp, these must be drawn as normal. The user may only create up to two per body.

You must remove the augments for two of the chakra disruption blades.

Those chakra blades are to be used separately not during the same battle together but I see your point and instead each will have a different weapon and eventually their own ability sets once I can afford them.

Sharingan Kuro - Uchiha

Defensive Technique* & Insight*

Demon Kuro had awoken in his now shared meditation chamber while Suzuhime slept peacefully, the artifact from the trial grounds greatly enhanced their bonds but it also carried a backlash affect. When Suzuhime was awake she would receive pre cognitive visions from possible futures. Sharingan Kuro whose gift was far more centered and not so powerful only showed him his immediate most dire possible future. As such his meditation became battle meditation as he had to literally fight his way out of his dreams.

In this dream Kuro was reliving a battle he had with a demon touched warrior named Kujiku Jo whom believed he could simply take over the Toraono Clan after applying to become part of the Hyou Family and then showing off his true potential after challenging the head of the Toraono Clan itself. Kuro had been in his Sharingan body at the time and decided it was time he tested himself a bit. Kuro was facing the dark serpent demon’s chosen and one of the strongest wielders of the Orochi power. An intense spiral of insane energy crashed against Sharingan Kuro’s inner being battering it with hate and actually pushing him back inch by inch until Sharingan Kuro stood his ground. “Come now Jo, you’ve hated me as long as you have known of me and this is your reason. That’s pretty lame, but if it’s gotten you this far in power then you will definitely be angry with me when you see how far my training has taken me.” Sharingan Kuro purposely stepped back with his celestial aura in place making Jo’s eyes twitch as he saw he was stepping back to signal the judge. Sharingan Kuro made the motion for no gloves which meant that this too would be an all-out match with no mediation until it was certain that the one or the other could no longer fight.

Sharingan Kuro: “This is what you had in mind is it not Kujiku Jo?”

Jo released a snarling laugh with an animal like expression on his face:
“You have accepted your fate already, this is not good it will make your destruction less appealing but I accept your willingness to embrace your doom.”

The Toraono clan referee made the announcement but neither Jo nor Sharingan Kuro heard him or paid attention. As soon as the referee disappeared in a puff of smoke the battle was already on. Sharingan Kuro leaped backwards twisting midair as he summoned his Anbu armor, his top, bracers, shin guards and thigh plates. Jo screamed and leaped like a panther with a trapped kill. Jo controlled his descent from the leaping attack with a grace that all whom sat in the arena witnessed with awe. The speed and grace of the attack showed the elders the proof of Jo’s words as he slashed down upon Sharingan Kuro with a speed he could not hope to dodge. The swipe caused a severe tear of wind, reality, and energy in the shape of a claw that tore into the fiber of Sharingan Kuro’s being for a split second before he instantly counter stepped beside Jo and struck him in the head with a vicious elbow strike. His telekinetic armor was deeply gouged in a rake of four slashes but repairing itself even as Jo turned to lash out at his elusive target. Jo clapped his hands together as he went through a set of kuji in and unleashed the energies he had acquired from his Astral Cursed Seal. Eight massive snake shaped blasts of energy collapsed upon Sharingan Kuro as one knocking him to his knees and singing his skin battering him as if they were alive. Two snake heads held each limb as Jo stood close breathing down upon him.

Jo: “You do have a certain finesse Demonbeast Prince but as I told everyone before you arrived I am stronger than any of the twelve, I was born to destroy your father and you don’t hold a candle to him so trust me when I say your defeat is evident.” Jo drew his left hand back for another dark claw strike when he finally noticed the snakes were all clamped down on some kind of barrier and not Sharingan Kuro himself. Sharingan Kuro finally looked up from his concentration and stared deep into Jo’s eyes as he replied.

“For someone whose been waiting to defeat me for twelve years, you have absolutely no idea who or what you are truly facing, your tricks are paltry, your energies are impressive, but they are nothing compared to mine.” Sharingan Kuro surged with his inner demon energies, that of Hyakujuuonouu as he spoke. “So please allow me to demonstrate Defensive art number seventy six KUROTSUNAMI!!” The evil energy snakes that many thought were binding him were disintegrated as a towering wave of black and violet energy exploded from the telekinetic barrier armor that Sharingan Kuro had generated to keep the Orochi power from actually grasping him.

A massive shockwave of chakra crested over Jo destroying the armor he had been wearing. Jo turned with the force of it passing over him as it brought him to one knee before he stood anew as he saw the wisps of his clan robe fade along with his patience. A roar of such magnitude that it shook the very foundations of the arena ripped forth from Jo’s body as black and violet energies poured from his being as well. Jo’s back expanded and grew ridiculously muscular as his aura expanded one thousand fold. His incisors became saber fangs, his eyes feral as he spread his legs and bent low in a bestial stance befitting one that had religiously studied the Panther Claw style of fighting, while he transferred his weight unto his massive, overly muscular legs. Black energy with white motes of divine power sheathed his body as he turned to face his prey. Sharingan Kuro maintained his defensive stance as his focus shifted to exhausting his enemy and making him understand that his defensive abilities completely outclassed his offensive abilities.

Quick Reaction* & Illusionist*

Demon Kuro sat before Sharingan Kuro as they practiced meditation to determine the extent of the differences in his body types. He already knew his Sharingan side could not take on the amount of muscle mass his natural body already had. He had found that his Sharingan side had the natural dexterity of a true leopard, far more reaction speed than his natural body, so much so he could feel the difference, especially when he sparred with others. Many were expecting him to use strong arm tactics and overwhelming strength which was his natural propensity. Yet the finesse and speed he experienced in his sharingan touched form was exhilarating. If he did not know tactics so well with himself and had not trained warriors faster than himself Kuro was certain the Sharingan would have overwhelmed him when he first faced them long ago. When Kuro would spar in his sharingan form he could dodge attacks and strike back with such ease it was frightening. He noticed that the nervous system in his sharingan form was heavily influenced by his eyesight allowing him a response time that bordered instantaneous thought. That was not quite the case it was simply that his hard earned sharingan form allowed for him to track movement at a phenomenal rate and respond to it in a manner of timing with the enhanced nervous system of said form in a punish the person whom tried to hit you manner. It was refreshing to say the least as he adjusted to learning his Sharingan form’s full capabilities at least within the grasp of his mind. Of one thing Kuro was certain was that he would never attain all the abilities that those of natural birth to the abilities he gained ever could but what he could do was expand upon his understanding of the world and use what he did gain to expand his own abilities enabling him to better protect others.

Sharingan Kuro meditated before a set of scrolls and a captured assassin that needed to be interrogated. Demon Kuro sat just outside the chamber listening for stray thoughts from the prisoner, so far the prisoner in question a woman whom called herself Nuki had been very resistant to standard questioning. Rather than resort to butcher like tactics Kuro decided to handle this personally, after all they had come after his mother and Kuro wanted first crack at it before his God brother Sousuke and Mikaboshi the Darkness himself arrived and clinically, mentally, physically, then spiritually dissected her piece by piece. Sharingan Kuro was not feeling particularly merciful and since he understood their cult had hardened them to the ways of pain he decided he’d try a different tactic. He’d go in as a conspirator, Demon Kuro went in first while he came behind him with an Anbu mask and hood on, using henge no jutsu to rid himself of his horns and silver grey hair for a bit worked perfectly for a disguise. Demon Kuro played the bad cop while Sharingan Kuro prepared his strongest illusion ability Tsukuyomi. Demon Kuro went straight in and produced his demon clawed hand. At first Nuki wasn’t frightened, she was very defiant which would work wonders for what Kuro had planned as Demon Kuro laughed evilly. ”I hope you understand that I will actually take pleasure in this…” Nuki stared at him defiantly completely missing the real gambit as she remembered exactly what a demon blooded could do to a being’s mind. Demon Kuro was surgical in his mentat skills as he placed his demon hand her skull, he even left her unchained so she could resist, it would make it much easier if she physically exerted herself. She began to shiver as she growled in defiance and looked Demon Kuro directly in the eyes as if she could unnerve him. Kuro smiled evilly as he knelt to where they were eye level so that Sharingan Kuro could be seen right behind him as just a masked Sunan Anbu. ”Your bravery speaks volumes for your faith in your cause. Do not lose hope that your compatriots might come for you…”</COLOR><i></i> Kuro saw it rise as she tried to hide it, the flicker of hope. Hope, faith, the feeling that she was important to someone else within her organization and that was all he needed to crush her will as Sharingan Kuro pretended to knock Demon Kuro out with a heavy blow to the neck. ”Nuki chan… hurry the others are waiting at the meeting point.” Nuki chan looked into Sharingan Kuro’s eyes and was quickly swept away in the illusion as he allowed Nuki chan to literally identify and fill in all the blanks through hypnosis. He gathered the names and meeting points of all two hundred and eight members that she knew of within Wind Country. Tsukuyomi allowed him to walk along the passage ways she knew by memory and now by extension Kuro knew these passages by memory. He would track them all down one by one and continue to gather every scrap of information from each victim of his wrath. Sharingan Kuro released his genjutsu and as Demon Kuro rose they stalked away passing on all the information she had once possessed to waiting ANBU and Toraono Clan agents. It was time to hunt….

With her secrets unknowingly given out she passed out, only to wake up alone and in a different holding room, she was no longer in the general vicinity of Sietch Zensunna the scent was different and she now felt completely powerless for she was now within the Obsidian palace. It felt as if she had always been here, like the moment she was captured she was knocked out and taken here. She was unmolested to the best of her knowledge and her clothing was comfortable but Nuki could not escape the feeling that she was utterly powerless now and what was worse was the sense that something was feeding upon her.

Sanryoukyogan Kuro - Tsuchimikado

Conservative Motion*

Sanryoukyogan Kuro sat before a medical review carefully monitoring his movements. In his original body he didn’t have to worry about excessive movement because his dark chakra granted him excessive amounts of energy to wield. In this form he was heavy, metallic, and able to grasp onto alternate chakras from all around him. Although the exact same size and shape of his true body, this body was not swift. It was thorough, methodical; it had a smooth molten swagger to it that Kuro understood was a sense of motion and how not to waste it. He could feel the sublime difference in his natural original movement and the smooth methodic movement this body afforded. It would have been maddening to Kuro in his original form to have to restrict his movement. It was the excessive movement of his natural form that allowed him to taunt his enemies and leave them wondering just how much stamina he really had. This body didn’t tire easily as it was but with un-wasted movement his energies and exhaustion were almost untouched. It was simply refreshing as he reviewed an alternative medical procedure that would allow medics to remove shrapnel without serious internal or external damage by touching the shrapnel with a probe that would place a summon seal upon it where it could be summoned to a medical tray using an altered space – time jutsu. Kuro was certain that he had come across this method of energy conservation before but indeed had originally had no reason to use this well-known method of economy of movement. He began to question why this body was so fluent in said activity when he realized it was because of this body’s attunement with elemental energy. As he pulsed with both his special attunement with chakra and this form’s natural alignment with chakra Kuro found that it was because he was so attuned to metal that his actual movement was flowing like metal, it meant he took less damage from the physical and more damage from the elemental. It was indeed an odd revelation but a useful one as he continued to listen to various lectures while testing his body’s chakra capacity. He was happy that he no longer needed to move fast he only needed to maintain consistency, intensity, and confidence.

Recharge* & Health Converter*

Sanryoukyogan Kuro was a form that was completely one with the elements, especially metal, so much so that when he was struck by a major elemental jutsu he took damage the likes of which his demon form had never known but in exchange that energy now fueled his attacks taijutsu attacks. It was fascinating, Sharingan Kuro blasted Sanryoukyogan Kuro with a grand fireball, the intense pain was nominal but it was then Sanryoukyogan Kuro noted that his body was now wreathed in violet flames. It was then Sanryoukyogan Kuro noticed that he had actually gained some of his own chakra back from the actual jutsu. So Kuro began to experiment on himself and consistently noted that his skin whether in its metallic phase of not absorbed some of the chakra from any ninjutsu attack that fell upon him. It was painful but oddly enough a necessary evil, it gave Sanryoukyogan Kuro another reason to embrace the slow and steady method of his new form. Kuro already knew enough about his abilities to absorb chakra from jutsu or objects around him but this was different it was more automatic, it did not require so much thought, effort, or timing. He didn’t have to worry if the technique was too strong for his absorption as long as it was an elemental ninjutsu he could absorb some of the chakra from it. Such were Sanryoukyogan Kuro’s ties to the elements; so the testing continued with various elemental attacks he directed upon himself, it became euphoric, despite the pain. He started with low level jutsu’s and found he absorbed best from C rank or lower ninjutsu. First Sharingan Kuro struck with every flame jutsu he knew he started low and worked his magnificent flame control. Ember Spark warmed his muscles, thermal Maw caused residual burn marks but they healed rather quickly. ‘Dragon Fire’ made him glow with violent violet flames twice over or he could absorb the entire jutsu and its chakra. Grand Fireball jutsu had the same effect as Dragon fire but over a larger area making it easier to absorb. Sanryoukyogan Kuro also found out that he could actually use the chakra he absorbed for healing. This conversion of chakra to life energy seemed to also be a flawless side effect of Sanryoukyogan Kuro’s ties to the elements. It didn’t just grant him energy anymore it granted him a funnel to transform chakra into new cells and life energy. It was all the more exciting to know that with each discovery of greater prowess and control, that his path to becoming the perfect avatar of Hyakujuuonouu was closer and closer to fruition. Kuro also knew that he would be able to save more lives and help more people. Sanryoukyogan Kuro levitated a metallic card to himself and began to inscribe healing jutsu into with his telekinesis and metallic control. Several cards later Kuro had completed a reasonable set of metallic ritual sealing cards with healing jutsu. Sanryoukyogan Kuro would certainly become a much better healer as he’d now be able to see ailments and not just sense the pain others were in mentally, but see the spiritual ailments as well. As energy coursed into his flesh from damage taken, he channeled that energy to heal the damage taken. It wasn’t an equivalent exchange once the jutsu was stronger than c rank but that didn’t truly matter. All that mattered to Kuro is that he had discovered another facet of himself within another new portion of his growing repertoire. Sanryoukyogan Kuro had a great future as a doctor and exorcist now as he pushed onward to ever more pertinent matters.

Human Anatomy* & Transmit Life

Demon Kuro and Sanryoukyogan Kuro sat before a young lady whom had injured her legs and badly damaged her lungs while traipsing about the Chaumerus Cavern in search of poison crystal and stone to sell to the medical nin at the bazaar. She had impressive poison resistance to say the least, but the poison dust she had inhaled from multiple trips into the caverns without proper protection was taking their toll. Demon Kuro listened to her mind and found every major injury by almost feeling her every pain as she thought about them while his Sanryougan side questioned her about her daily habits. He stood a reasonable distance from the bed so he could monitor her entire anatomy and purify her flesh with a Tenmeiton ritual.

She had torn some ligaments on her right leg and suffered some severe muscle strain there as well. Her hip and femur had suffered stress fractures which Sanryougan was able to determine by looking at their inner spirit which tended to mirror their actual injuries. Her spirit was deeply blue showing that she was indeed healing the green areas marked the muscular damage, the deep violet areas marked the areas where poison was affecting her the most. It seemed to be her throat, heart, and lungs. Levitating a special metallic seal card above her heart Sanryoukyogan Kuro signaled to Demon Kuro to brace her for pain. Demon Kuro in synch with his Onmyouji side used his demon claw to quell her pain instead if its usual usage to tear mind’s asunder Kuro used it specifically with his medical jutsu to numb her to the pain of having the poisons inside her literally drawn from her body through her pores to collect bio-magnetically to the chakra enhanced metallic card.

Even with Kuro numbing her from the majority of the pain, her body could still feel something unnatural occurring, it was akin to being awake while someone pulled ants from your skin and through every pore. Kuro found he could not take that sensation away, her skin was her largest nerve ending and to try and numb every inch of her skin would be maddening. Still the young crystal gatherer did very well to endure all she had so far, now was the time to bring her back to her true self as the poison was collected into a dazzlingly violet gem that she could actually sell. Kuro allowed her actual ability to feel physical sensation to slowly return to normal as he removed his mind altering touch but continually applied healing chakra so as to ensure he caused no physical or mental scarring. Sanryoukyogan Kuro smiled genuinely as the girl managed to sit-up and breathe normally and her heart beat at a normal staccato. ”Well young one how do you feel after an hour of treatment?” Young Tsukina practically beamed as she sat up with only a dull ache where the pain in her chest, throat, and lungs had crippled her so bad she had collapsed in front of the Tower of Bone. Kuro had sensed her thoughts as she believed she would finally die like her elder brother had collecting chakra crystals and poison stone. Kuro sent for a team to find her brother as she may have been misled to believe in her brother’s death. Tsukina began to cry with relief as she realized that her body was healed, Sanryoukyogan Kuro's eyes glittered in a metallic display of a rainbow of colors as he kept his distance while healing her. He had to make sure his metallic like body did not attract the poison remnants from her body and only his Tenmeiton card ritual. He was satisfied that his method of electromagnetic poison dispersal did not cause permanent harm to the young lady. It was moments like this that Kuro was actually thankful for his expanding abilities. He would be able to save many more lives now.

Kyojin Kuro - Ogre Magi

Kyojin Kuro, the first monstrous entity that although he looked exactly like Kyojin Kuro facially and features wise there was a huge difference in size, so much so that Demon Kyojin Kuro used Takahashi forged blade loaded battle armor just to clothe his new massive form. Mostly because Kyojin Kuro refused to wear his father’s hand me downs, and he didn’t want to bother Oushi-ouja for their earth toned clothing either. Simply put only his father and the resident masters from the Oushi-ouja wore clothing of the size Kyojin Kuro needed to properly cover his new form. He now stood as large as his father and looking around he could see just how easily his father noticed and would easily block all of his attacks. At this height and size Kyojin Kuro felt like everything was tiny. Kyojin Kuro now understood why he had been so sorely underestimated by his larger opponents too, things simply seemed insignificant from this height, especially with the strength he felt within this flesh. Kyojin Kuro stood at seven feet and weighed in at four hundred and fifty pounds. He carried Kyojin Kuro’s face and features but his size was all encompassing. This was the first time Kyojin Kuro was larger than his father even using transformation jutsu Kyojin Kuro simply could not approach his father’s size, now he could completely surpass that size and then some. Absentmindedly Kyojin Kuro found himself praying before an altar of a beautiful maiden with hardened eyes. She carried a massive jug that looked like it was meant to carry water over long distances. Kyojin Kuro carefully scooped up some sand and sprinkled it before her feet and intoned a soft prayer asking forgiveness for what he must do in order to protect Suna from the coming tides of destruction. Kyojin Kuro smiled as he finished glad he still did things without question or thought even after so much had happened in his life and now newfound lives.

Kyojin Kuro wore a sand camouflage pattern heavy armor made of Takahashi fire-forged steel with matte-black transformation seals allowing it to switch from desert colors to pitch black dependent on Kuro’s vocal command or four tap sonic patterned code along his right thigh plate. Kyojin Kuro wore a matching belt and sheath around his waist where he had sheathed an pair of blade attachments for his battle gauntlets. Kyojin Kuro wore his battle pouch atop the belt it was a simple lizard leather pouch but easily camouflaged by rubbing it with sand or crushed stone if ever necessary just above his right hip. Kyojin Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his left armored thigh just atop his silk gi shorts. A convenient slot in the mutli-folded steel of his left thigh armor allowed Kyojin Kuro full access to his items without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it. Securing his Takahashi forged battle guards and lower leggings were Kyojin Kuro’s enhanced runic terran sealed leather wraps for his hands, forearms, shins and feet. Kyojin Kuro wrapped his armored tail around his belt making it appear that Kuro wore a belt of armor resembling hand-sized reinforced double blades. Kyojin Kuro wore his mane of silver hair in tight war braids in ancient ceremonial fashion making his oxen horns much more pronounced but also making him look like a serious battle veteran, massive chakra gems implanted into his endoskeletal structure stood out on the back of his hands and one in the center of his the crest of his skull. The chakra gem in his left hand was emerald green with a spiral of a star in its center, if you looked at it closely and long enough one could see where it interfaced with the flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. The chakra gem in his right hand was ruby red with a six point star in its center, this one also interfaced with his flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. In the center of his forehead was a massive sunstone a rare chakra gem that is occasionally found in the deep deserts unearthed by the giant sandwyrms only the strongest of people could lift them due to their density and this body had one implanted in its skull and interfacing with his brain. It was a unique feeling to say the least but the interface with the sunstone allowed Kuro to dramatically pulse chakra throughout this body which was one of the keys to its transformational capability. It also allowed him to control his metabolic rate at a degree he had never believed was possible, as such Kuro noted that every nick he suffered from putting on the blade enhanced armor healed in seconds.

Kyojin Kuro made his appearance before Lord Kaibudo and requested a training match. Kaibudo noted the ease with which the massive man before him moved in siege armor designed by the Takahashi clan for puppet weaponry tests. Kaibudo took a deep breath followed by a long sniff where he then sat and smiled a father’s knowing smile. ”I grant you your match with the intent that I get to unleash every attack I have studied recently upon you, it is so very rare to face a warrior my size these days.”<i></i>=

Referee Yamanosuke grinned before he spoke then grew hard and stoic as he beckoned Kaibudo and Kyojin Kuro to step forward. He spoke to them very gently but with a firmness that could not be denied “You are to use every technique you know or believe yourself capable of, do not hold back. If there is an instance where it seems that you are about to severely hurt, maim, or kill one another one of my twelve assistants hidden around the room will use the crimson sand jutsu to intervene.” Kuro did not bother looking about to determine if he could spot any of his assistants. Yamanosuke took the referee position in the ring. Kaibudo had even taken the time to put wraps on his hands. Kuro smiled and bowed before Kaibudo as he bowed before him. Everything about them was almost completely the same their silver hair and dark tans ans massive tattooed upper bodies, this looked to be a truly exceptional match. Yamanosuke checked to see if they were both ready to begin looking them over briefly. He then waved his hand and yelled “Hajime!!”

Kaibudo’s fists were a blur as he came after Kyojin Kuro whom seemed to be getting hit to most but upon a closer look, he was simply parrying them all. With a finesse that begged a master fighter to re-evaluate his skills he parried every lightning fast strike until he drew back and his fist began to glow a dim electric blue. Then Kaibudo lashed out hoping he would block it, which he did but in a very unexpected manner. He leaned forward and caught the energized fist upon his shoulder then rolled off the blow. It was as smooth as a forest breeze as he completed the motion, throwing Kaibudo completely off balance for a moment as he tucked under him and kicked out with his left foot into Kaibudo’s stomach and kicked him into the air, he spiraled off above Kyojin Kuro with an awkward sounding “OOOF!!” As he spiraled off into the air he looked up at him and a gust of wind gathered around his legs for an instant then he was there just behind Kaibudo. All the other assistants and students looked amazed except for Kaiser whom simply smiled and nodded as he followed the fight.

Kyojin Kuro appeared above Kaibudo and began to pummel him all the way down, with swift unerring strikes that were seemingly twice as fast as Kaibudo’s responding counter strikes. A kick to Kyojin Kuro’s ribs, kidneys, face, femoral, his common peroneal and final a resounding axe kick to his collar bone that all but buried Kuro in the sandy pit of the ring. For a moment it seemed that Kuro was unconscious but he simply stood up and began to stretch. Kyojin Kuro smiled as Kaibudo smiled back at him, no words were wasted as they both got back into stance. Kaibudo took a strange look as he closed his eyes and asked a question of Yamanosuke. <COLOR color="gray">“Referee? I won’t get in trouble for damaging the ring, will I?” Yamanosuke grinned as he replied “Of course not.” Kaibudo began to radiate an excessive amount of dim blue energy as electricity could openly be seen running rampant along his skin. Kyojin Kuro also began to channel a massive whirlwind as his aura became steel grey, shimmering like freshly made steel. Kaibudo surged across the ring and was met by the impenetrable wall that was Kyojin Kuro. Every punch, every kick, met a barrier of strength and armored flesh. Kaibudo was strong, swift and could match Kyojin Kuro’s offensive capability but he simply could not match his physical defense. He wailed upon the armored giant with no apparent effectiveness, till at last he was simply perplexed and Kyojin Kuro simply slammed him in the chest with an energized hook. Yamanosuke nodded at the simplicity of Kyojin Kuro’s ploy, he realized a slugfest would be too draining simply adjusted his energies to attempt to exhaust his faster less defensive opponent. Analytical and powerful, a very potent combination Yamanosuke noted. Yamanosuke understood now, they were going to end the match with these final techniques. Apparently the strongest ones they wanted to use, (so that’s how a sparring match is fought then) Yamanosuke thought to himself. Kuro really didn’t have any techniques to test out that wouldn't give him away besides a few he witnessed this body using before taking it for his own. They should do or he could just watch and learn from everyone else. Almost simultaneously they moved although Kaibudo was a bit faster, Kaibudo focused a massive jolt of electricity through his hands while Kyojin Kuro unleashed a double swirl of wind that spiraled past his attack and knocked Kaibudo clean outside of the ring while his double barrel burst of electricity blew Kuro out of the ring as well taking with it a large section of the ring. As they were flying out of the ring two blurs grabbed them and set them down upon a crimson sands healing mat, the quickest makeshift medical facility available. Azame was amazed, she hadn’t seen power like that since she had beat up his Kaibudo.

Kaibudo smiled then took a teacher’s stance… “Your defensive abilities are impressive, your offensive abilities aren’t bad either but your defense is the best I have seen in a long time. I see you carry ogre blood… that must help a lot, continue your training and I will meet you again to spar with less restraint on my part to really test your defenses.”
