Kamaru looked as another investigator came in and was surprised to see Kamaru sitting in the meeting room by himself it seemed. When he shook his head ‘no’ Kamaru crossed out another option off the list mentally. A man or woman seen running out of the area before the explosion would have been nice but this had its own data to give up meaning whoever set the explosion off did so by walking in, making the drop, and casually walked out and waited. As the explosion happened they mimicked others diving or moving to the ground probably falling to the ground and then fleeing with the rest of the crowd. Kamaru sighed aloud and thanked the man mentioning the report and that he was dismissed whenever he was ready to leave for the day. So may no news is good news, but in this case no clues made things a bit more complicated. Earlier he found out the owner being in a coma would be probably the primary way to find out what happened but from what the medical professionals explained he was going to be unconscious for at least two months, waiting him somehow due to the head trauma he sustained might call mental degradation or injury.
It wasn’t that Kamaru didn’t have anything in truth, it was the fact things were too broad or vague, a man or woman between the age of a young adult or middle aged person. Calm enough to walk in plant a bomb and walk out smiling like nothing ever happened. He had investigators looking into if another local mining company or construction company was missing some supplies for demolition. Separately it wasn’t enough to do another, together it was enough to send the coffee shop sky high and left as rubble.
Kamaru sat staring at the ceiling, someone detached to their emotions… able to carry out brutal attacks without being seen or noticed. Kamaru felt he was looking in a mirror of sorts of what his life could have been. Kamaru stopped and looked at the investigators that had gathered. That’s when he noticed he had been spinning his chair while staring at the ceiling. He had to catch himself.
”The components stolen, were any actually happening on the same day?” Kamaru asked the group standing as he pulled on his jacket.
As they looked at each other the responses came back mostly no, some did but there were two or three a day. Usually minor things which was why they hadn’t noticed. Small ammounts it seemed. Kamaru paced while they explained the information.
”So you know how to make bombs, you’re intelligent. You can walk into a shop full of people, drop off a package, walk out and wait knowing what is coming then feign shock and fear to run off with the rest of the people… We need to find out any temporary workers on the days of the thefts. Also anyone that kinda kept to themselves and skipped out of work early or didn’t show up afterwards the following.” Kamaru muttered aloud as he paced back and forth in the room before giving out an order.
When asked by one of the investigators which ones Kamaru stopped and stared at him blankly.
”All of them.” he simply replied.
