Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Poison is what is known as an "Advanced Element". Jutsu in the Poison family utilize a combination of primarily Wind and secondarily Fire chakra to produce effects that imitate those of physical poisons, slowly killing the victim from within.

Shoma was back in his temple, the back stacks of the Konoha Academy library. He hadn't seen a single soul since finding his book and burrowing his way to the deepest reaches of the stacks. That was how he liked it. People were fine in small doses, and good friends were welcome in greater doses, but at the end of the day, books had always been his best friends, and that didn't seem likely to change soon. His pen scratched quickly on the notebook at his side as he read. He barely had to look at the paper to keep his notes tidy.

Foundational Poison Ninjutsu include the following:

Poison Extraction: A technique that can be used to remove physical poison from the target's body. Experience users may then re-use that poison within a short time, making this technique both defensive and offensive.

Toxic Channeling: A utility Jutsu that coats the user's weapon in Poison chakra. The effects of the poison created by this Jutsu are amplified compared to their physical counterpart.

Immunity Break: Used to break the target's immunity to poison, this Jutsu lays the foundation for further Poison-based attacks.

Venom Needle: An offensive Jutsu that converts a physical poison into a senbon needle, which can then be thrown in order to deliver the toxin directly into the target's body.

Shoma glanced at the list in his notebook. He numbered them according to the order he imagined one would use them in battle: 4, 3, 2, 1.

Break down immunity, poison from a distance, then coat melee weapons for melee delivery. Poison Extraction is probably something you'd use after the battle most of the time.

He continued to read, interest thoroughly piqued.

Because Poison Ninjutsu require precise coordination of chakra belonging to two different elements, they are typically reserved for Shinobi of the Chuunin or equivalent rank, though some particularly talented Gennin, and even Academy Students have managed to teach themselves one or two basic techniques. Due to the particularly nasty nature of poisons, it is not recommended that these Jutus be practiced without oversight by an experienced tutor. Intrepid readers may prepare to learn Poison Ninjutsu by first gaining mastery over Wind and Fire Jutsu, paying close attention to both the differences and similarities between the two chakra qualities. It is only through proper combination of the two that one may access and eventually master the Poison element.

Shoma finished writing his last bit of notes and scanned over the page. He'd picked up a few Jutsu names, and gained a better understanding of the element combination. Furthermore, he had an idea of the kind of skill he would need to have in order to utilize Poison in his ninjutsu. Perhaps even more interesting was the Poison Extraction Jutsu.

That could be really useful if I decide to join the medical branch. Actually, it would probably be useful as an Anbu too, but especially as a Med-Nin.
