It was a great time to explore the surrounding area of Sunagakure. The boy didn't have anything to do but to relax. He'd come back from a rather hard mission that involved an abandoned ship and some treasure. It wasn't the worst of the boy's troubles, but it did indeed leave a mark on the back. His back still hadn't fully recovered from the scratch that darn alligator left on him. "Another fine day of working the sweat out of your brow aye lad?" Hagami, a farmer that owned acers of land, looked to Uzi with a smile. The sun only began to come up but the pair was ready for another hard day of work. "Yeah, hopefully today Rufus won't give us the hassle of chasing him halfway to the gates of Suna." The two laughed a bit. Rufus was a rather large pig that, when too excited, began going wild and running this way and that. The clouds in the sky began to slowly shift away from the village of Sunagakure, brining rather dark clouds to the farmlands.
Uziuke wiped a few beads of sweat that ran down his cheek. He lifted his giant straw hat from his head, looking up at the sun as it beamed down on the farmland below. The dark clouds that hung around earlier had already passed. The boy found a place to sleep for a while and in return, he worked the farm and helped with the animals all he could. Making it rain every few days with his jutsu also proved useful. The farmer was more than happy to allow Uziuke to stay with them. They had an extra room for guests that passed through, which was all the time. Uzi got heavily acquainted with the farmer's son, an 18 year old that stayed to help out with the place. He told Uzi that he tried to be a shinobi, but he wasn't great with hand seals. He became a great fighter with his fists and on his feet, but other than that, he just didn't have it in him. He quit right after becoming a Genin.
There wasn't much else to do on the farm land. Sometimes Uziuke would go out to a nearby village with the farmer's daughter. They'd shop from markets and stop by an animal shelter to check on a dog that they named Ami. The scraggly k-9 made Uzi think of Ayano, his pet fox, that he'd left in Sunagakure. The duo weren't together all the time, but the fox had a way to pop up on the boy and find him before they were ready to move out. The Uchiha decided that he'd leave the following week back to Sunagakure. This little vacation out of the village was something that the boy really needed.
