After a long winded conversation with her parents, Juroyo came across a nugget of information that was very strange to her. Apparently in the midst of their scolding they had said "What would the Tsuchikage think?" Now that was not a word she was familiar with and after asking a school yard pal what it meant APPARENTLY it wasn't Tsuchikage, it was Tsuchinoko! Their village was ruled by some sort of big fat snake that sat at the top of a tower and ate hammers. That admittedly was kind of a shock, all of the other kids said the same thing though. That Tsuchinoko was definitely the thing that existed and they had one in this very village.
With this knowledge in hand she plotted, with her meager allowance she bought two very important items. A sling shot and a small box of mochis, nothing expensive really they were just full of Anko bean paste. Sweetened just the slightest bit and she rolled them in flour so they weren't so sticky.
After all something that ate hammers probably would like something different right? Little did the terrible beast know, that they had been carefully injected with some wasabi. A small dab of green in the middle of the regular red filling. She'd drive out the weird snake and be a hero in her village, clearly the only reason they had so many astringent rules and regulations was because they were being oppressed by a Bebī aku doragon! (Baby Evil dragon)
So she set out on her dragon slaying quest on sunny afternoon when the heat was intense and the village had a lazy haze upon it. This was a good day to launch her attack, after a few inquiries of the local oppressed peasantry she was directed to the terrible beast's castle. It was tall, almost as tall as the high walls of the mountains she had climbed a hundred times by her age.
This was going to be hard, she untied her belt and doubled it over, tying it around her head to keep her sweat off her brow and her hair out of her face.
She dusts her fingers with dirt before starting her way up the wicked Yōsai. (Fortress)
It took quite a bit of effort to reach the highest tier of this structure, and she finally managed to reach the top most office of the tower. The window was open and had just enough of a recess for her to crawl up onto and perch. Squatting on her tippy toes as she peered into the office-!!!
There it was! A ghastly horrible Serpent sitting at a desk. It had a big round pointy head and a long white body. She could practically see the oppressed people crushed under it, all those poor hammers it had eaten!
"Taste vengeance Doragon." She whispers under her breath as she pulled the box of mochi from inside her shirt, with her ammo in hand she knocks it into the rubber band of the sling shot.
Taking aim and then firing directly at its dark, gaping maw.
