History:
Tsukito was born in Sune’s Haven. He’d been raised by his maternal uncle, a weapons merchant, for most of his early years. Neither his biological mother nor father were involved in his life in any capacity. As far as he knew he’d been dropped off on his uncle’s door step in the middle of the night shortly after his birth. Still, he always felt there was much more to the story of how things came to be than his uncle would let on. He was a very curious child but would ultimately never push for more information as it didn’t matter much to him. He was content living with his uncle and wouldn’t have had it any other way. The man was an excellent role model and made an extraordinary parental figure.
Over time, Tsukito’s infatuation with blades blossomed, and he’d become quite skilled as a swordsman. It became evident to his uncle that the young boy’s talent was exceptional. As such, he brought up the idea of sending the child away to better hone his craft. It was a difficult decision for a child of only 9 years of age to be given, but it fell right in line with his biggest desires in life. He dreamt of traveling the world and becoming strong like the heroes of the stories his uncle would tell him.
Once sufficient funds were gathered, Tsukito and his uncle embarked on a trip to Sunagakure, where the boy would be enrolled in the shinobi academy. Arrangements were made for boarding with a merchant acquaintance, and eventually Tsukito’s uncle went back to Sune’s Haven. The two would be in constant contact as the child made his way through the village academy system via. mail correspondence all the way up to his graduation
