Personality:
Oushi is and for the most part has always been a shy boy, though especially nervous around the opposite sex for a cocktail of reasons. Whether it is a lasting effect from the older sisters he once had the displeasure of living under, or just how his gentle soul is, keeps it up in the air. That being said, with enough time and patience he is able to moderately overcome how he interacts with someone of the female persuasion. In general Oushi prefers to keep a little past arm's reach from them though, as close encounters or touch tend to make him flustered. Despite his personal situation with girls, when it comes to training, so long as he is focused the boy is able spar or be in close quarters with them, as is required. If his focus wavers, it becomes a bit of a struggle for him mentally and physically. Putting that aside, Oushi is good with physical labour as he actually enjoys it, the act giving him peace of mind and something else to concentrate on, making him a hard worker. This can be traced back to him helping his family around their home and out in what fertile fields there were.

Oushi’s young body is just that, young and limber as appropriate for his age and dimensions. His skin is not pale from lack of sun, more so tanned from playing and working out in the fields. He’s not had much in the way of a haircut, his dark purple hair when left to its own devices extended a little past his shoulder blades. Since it would be a bother otherwise, the length of it is kept bound which gives it the look of an oxen’s swishing tail. He also has quite the cowlick on his head that he can’t quite seem to tame. His caramel brown eyes are set in a friendly, soft looking face, though sometimes tends to come off as docile.
Clothing:
This gentle, hardworking boy’s attire is rather simple, mostly consisting of practical clothing while taking the climate into consideration. He wears a black long sleeved shirt, a dark brown vest jacket over top with a hood, lined with a soft fabric to keep him warm. The jacket itself has a patch somewhere along the bottom hem, having needed repair at some point from wear and tear. There a set of deep pockets on the outside, with a couple of small pockets along the interior for extra storage. He wears handwraps in order to get a good grip on tools and weapons, the wrappings mostly around his palm and up to the first joint of his fingers. Oushi tends to favour practical yet comfy pants of darker colours, preferring a bit of wrappings around his right leg for the kunai holster secured over top of it. Through the warmer seasons he wears the usual ninja footwear, though a little taller for bracing, but when the temperature strikes cold he switches them out for a pair of hiking boots with good grip.

Oushi has always been a quiet boy, gentle to those around him and a hard worker. His family never really had much, but did their best to make do. While his parents toiled away with work in order to make ends meet, his older sisters helped out by taking care of the house, though this also meant to a fair degree slacking off and making Oushi do it instead. Since he was the youngest and didn’t want to make a deal of it, he most always ended up doing it. As he was the youngest by quite a few years, that usually made him take the brunt of their teasing and so forth. Over the years of what childhood he had, this made him a little weary of girls in general, much rather than having to face more torment, he instead kept a distance.
It would have been a few months after he had turned ten that the Academy’s Chakra Potential Screening Service had made their rounds and knocked upon their door. With a few tests, it was determined that Oushi had the potential to be a shinobi. Of course, his parents realized that they couldn’t just let him go, as they would be a pair of hands short in helping out in the fields. An offer would have to be made. Oushi had half a mind to think that his older sisters might of had a hand in the decision to ‘sell’ him to the Academy, but be that as it may, perhaps if he left he would be able to make something of himself rather than stay and carry on with the way things were. So in the end, he was purchased for his potential and moved to Kumogakure no Sato, where he would stay at the Academy dormitories and learned.
