Nuki is a tiny girl standing at 60'' inches (5' feet). She has light skin that's covered in small scars from years of living in the wild, and training. Her hair is an auburn brown, usually messy and unkempt, she has it tied up in two fuzzy ponytails. Nuki wears a canine skull on her head. Her clothing is old and torn, some of which looks like she patched it herself. Despite her looks, Nuki does bathe to keep little to no scent, though she does not enjoy brushing her hair whatsoever. Most of her clothing is in shades of reds and tans, they look almost like they were from the same sheet of fabric. Just dyed different.

Tanuki is still a child, and despite suffering many hardships still acts like a child, desperately just trying to live wild and free. She is curious and adventurous. She grows bored easily. She lacks empathy for anyone she doesn't consider family and shows no interest in any rules or structure such as government.
Some say she is stoic, though she often finds herself struggling to control her emotions. Nuki chooses to be naive about things, she is sharp. She has the ability to make fine-tune observations about situations, and people, but most of the time she will choose to be naive.

Character History:
Tanuki was born to two parents who were missing-nin. While they raised her, they trained her in the ninja arts from the time she could walk. They were once part of a clan that had a strong bloodline to the Inuzaka clan, but her parents went rogue, and became missing-nin. They swore off any forms of government, and clans, and wanted to be free, which is how they raised Tanuki. They gave Tanuki a dog, as part of the Inuzuka tradition, who Tanuki called Ikki.
They lived in an abandoned cabin and brought with them their scrolls and teachings of ninja arts. They planned on giving Nuki so she could further her skills. They taught her how to use these skills to defend herself, and her partner Ikki. Tanuki and Ikki grew up together and trained together, and Tanuki was happy with this lifestyle that was off the grid, and hidden.
It ended one day when Tanuki was 6, her parents had instructed her to go out hunting on her own, with Ikki. Which is something Tanuki had always wanted to do, to prove how strong she was to them. The spot where they wanted her to hunt was a day's journey out, and they wanted her to catch a boar. Tanuki took the assignment with glee, and then packed and left.
During the time Nuki was gone, her parents were captured by ANBU and killed. They received intel that the Anbu were closing in, and it’d be hard to fight them off with a child around, so they sent her off. They were able to make it look like they had no child before the Anbu showed up, burning any and all evidence of Tanuki ever even existing.
Tanuki returned after almost a week, with a boar head, and some meat that had been treated with salt. She knew something was off with how silent it was. The door was open, and the place was ransacked inside. There were signs of a fight. Nuki at that point knew what happened, but she refused to acknowledge it. She could see obvious bloodstains that smelt like her parents.
Tanuki cleaned the place up, and waited. She waited for her parents to return because she was sure that nothing happened. Weeks turned to months, and months turned to years. She had to make her own clothing since everything of hers was gone. She hunted her own food and grew some too, just like her parents taught her. She didn’t have any scrolls to learn off of anymore either, so she practiced what was already taught to her.
Tanuki was not alone though, she had Ikki with her the entire time. He protected her, and she protected him.
Things changed after almost three years when some other children stumbled upon her little cottage. They were traveling, and they convinced her to come with them. She did, and her world opened up a whole lot more. They also made her realize her parents were not returning to her, and she shouldn’t stick around waiting any longer.
Tanuki learned they could take on missions, under mercenary work. And it could make them money, though, money was almost a foreign concept to her. Her parents taught her about it, but it’d been years since she had seen it, they never took her into towns either so she had no clue what it was even used for until now. Money could buy anything and everything if you had enough.
So they became mercenaries. The first jobs were easy, which made Tanuki cocky. She convinced the others to take on a bigger job, a bounty on a bandit lord. It was dumb, but the pay was triple than what the other jobs had been paying.
