Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Puffs of dirt built up behind each kick as the bouncy pink dress bounced behind her. The temperature down here was less chilling and though her skin appreciated it, seeing so much dirt made her feel icky. If someone had been walking in front of her, she could imagine how horrible it'd be to have to step through so much dirt, unable to breathe, landing on your skin, eyes and worst of all, clothing. What if you were wearing white!!! This thought made her glad she had gotten ahead of the couple walking down the mountain path to the gates and now they were facing this exactly. Something about this thought made her smile and even kick harder. She was sure they had distanced themselves further for this reason but the dirt lingered for so long that they were stuck between being late to wherever they were headed or face the clouds of dirt that her little feet had created.

She could see the huge tents now. It was silly. She felt a small grudge toward the clan of clowns yet things always gravitated toward them. Even now, she wasn't sure why but every one of them had rubbed her the wrong way and they were so many of them. It reminded her of her family. Extensive and annoying. Sashine didn't actually think that the freak show would be in tents but that's how it seemed. As it was still daylight, she was hoping the nocturnal abnormal beings would not be out just yet because as the phrase went: 'The freaks came out at night'. The thing was though, she wasn't sure which tent to go to, they all seemed similar on the outside with varying sizes but they needed nametags on the outside or numbers to identify which was which. This was why circus people were weirdos, they didn't follow any order and without order, there was only chaos.

Based on what she had picked up from the Mochizukis, the two midget ones were the oldest and then that one feminine guy came next. She wasn't too sure about the other members but she knew there were a bunch more which she hoped to not meet. Either way, if seniority was an indicator, the bigger tents would be where she needed to look. Randomly heading to the closest tent on the left of the main stage, she stood in front of the entryway and waited. How was she supposed to knock? These people were shinobi, weren't they? Why couldn't they just muster up a building using elemental mumbo jumbo? "Ding dong.",s he paused for an answer. After a few seconds, she repeated:

"Knock knock.", she expected a clown in full white makeup to pop out and make a knock knock joke. "Hey, I'm coming in...", she announced after a few moments of waiting. "Please don't jump out at me, I hate clowns.", she added as she turned the cloth up and walked inside.

Mochizuki Takama

As soon as she entered the tent, Sashine bumped face first into a bare, muscular chest. Looking down at her was a grumpy man with dark red hair, his grey eyes narrowed in annoyance. "What the hell cotton puff?" He placed his fingers on his forehead, lightly massaging it. "Some of us are trying to sleep off hangovers and would appreciate not being interrupted. Did your mommy never teach you that silence doesn't equal permission?" He stumbled over to his bed, which was only a thin mattress on the ground, and sat unceremoniously upon it. Between the grey eyes and Kimiki-esque bad attitude, Sashine could deduce this was yet another Mochizuki sibling. Surprisingly, he seemed the most normal out of the family so far. He was obviously a man, unlike his brother, and was a more average height for his gender. Crossing his legs and arms, he stared at the pink girl with unfocused eyes. "Now what the hell do you want?"

Her face smushed up against a rock, it seemed and she took a step back, only to find a giant man looking down at her. She was in the circus right? Where was the giant flaming hoola hoop, the lion whip, the face paint, the beach balls being balanced on? It was just a boring old man and a mattress. He was sassy and normal but obviously a Mochizuki so he had to be a weirdo of some kind. "Did Mommy never teach you not to have impairing vices?", she retorted, sticking her tongue out at him. Sashine felt he was too hung over to retaliate in any way other than verbal but yet again, she wasn't too sure just how bad a hangover felt or whether it was just a physical effect. By the way the guy spoke, he seemed to just want to get it over with and speed things along so Sashine gave in to the man's needs because she didn't need to be seeing a man's chesticles all day. "I'm looking for Kimiki. Tell me where she is and I'll let you get back to your boozing.", she let the words slip out and as she thought them over, added a cute smile and the word. "Pleasseeee."

Hearing Sashine's mention of Kimiki, the Mochizuki man snorted. "Figures. You two have this same kinda vibe. A bitter one." Takama smirked. "You let the mean slip Cotton Ball. Adding please after snark does you no good." He sighed before shaking his head. "But anyway, I can't help you. She's an earlier riser. All the more time to make people's lives miserable. Your Kimiki is in another tent, Princess." Takama shooed the young girl away and went back to bed.

Passing by at that time was a pair of male twins, looking to be in their late teens, with hair close to Kimiki's hue. They paused in their walk and stared at Sashine as she exited the tent. Finally they approached her fully and scanned her over. "Wooooah. You look just like our Sis. Are you transformed or something?" They circled around Sashine three times before shaking their heads. "Nope. Wow. That's impressive. Are you sure you aren't our long lost sister or something?" They gave her cheerful smiles, and during this break in their blathering, Sashine could feel it. These two were just like her, Empathetics. They oozed a calming aura, obviously trying to use this to befriend the small child. They tilted their heads questioningly. "So did we hear correctly? You're looking for Kimiki? If so, we know where she is. Follow us."

They motioned for Sashine to tag along, leading her through a few tents to an open area. Standing there was Kimiki with a clipboard in hand, scribbling down something as she looked over the young children standing before her. The twins waving at their sister and shouted across the way. "Yaho! We brought someone who was looking for you!" Kimiki snapped her head to face her brothers, a look of annoyance on her face. Her eyes locked onto Sashine before turning again to the small children. Sashine was now within range to hear Kimiki's instructions. "Hanako, stop being a baby and let the boys throw you around. Natsu, you need to take your glasses off. They get in the way of your tumbling. Maki, stop being over-dramatic, it was just a flesh wound. The rest of you did well enough. Dismissed." Turning her focus back to Sashine, Kimiki gave her a stern look. "Are you here to train?" The second smallest Mochizuki wasn't one to beat around the bush or conduct in pleasantries.
