Skip --- skip --- skip.
Puffs of dirt built up behind each kick as the bouncy pink dress bounced behind her. The temperature down here was less chilling and though her skin appreciated it, seeing so much dirt made her feel icky. If someone had been walking in front of her, she could imagine how horrible it'd be to have to step through so much dirt, unable to breathe, landing on your skin, eyes and worst of all, clothing. What if you were wearing white!!! This thought made her glad she had gotten ahead of the couple walking down the mountain path to the gates and now they were facing this exactly. Something about this thought made her smile and even kick harder. She was sure they had distanced themselves further for this reason but the dirt lingered for so long that they were stuck between being late to wherever they were headed or face the clouds of dirt that her little feet had created.
She could see the huge tents now. It was silly. She felt a small grudge toward the clan of clowns yet things always gravitated toward them. Even now, she wasn't sure why but every one of them had rubbed her the wrong way and they were so many of them. It reminded her of her family. Extensive and annoying. Sashine didn't actually think that the freak show would be in tents but that's how it seemed. As it was still daylight, she was hoping the nocturnal abnormal beings would not be out just yet because as the phrase went: 'The freaks came out at night'. The thing was though, she wasn't sure which tent to go to, they all seemed similar on the outside with varying sizes but they needed nametags on the outside or numbers to identify which was which. This was why circus people were weirdos, they didn't follow any order and without order, there was only chaos.
Based on what she had picked up from the Mochizukis, the two midget ones were the oldest and then that one feminine guy came next. She wasn't too sure about the other members but she knew there were a bunch more which she hoped to not meet. Either way, if seniority was an indicator, the bigger tents would be where she needed to look. Randomly heading to the closest tent on the left of the main stage, she stood in front of the entryway and waited. How was she supposed to knock? These people were shinobi, weren't they? Why couldn't they just muster up a building using elemental mumbo jumbo? "Ding dong.",s he paused for an answer. After a few seconds, she repeated:
"Knock knock.", she expected a clown in full white makeup to pop out and make a knock knock joke. "Hey, I'm coming in...", she announced after a few moments of waiting. "Please don't jump out at me, I hate clowns.", she added as she turned the cloth up and walked inside.
