[Tsunade]

The sun glowed cheerily in the warm clear blue sky's allowing it rays to fall comfortably on the village but contrary to the warm sun the first chills of autumn were already crawling into the air forcing many of the citizens to exchange their garb for warmer clothing.
However some individuals despite the chill were undeterred by the change of weather and dutifully continued their training. One such person was currently on a small rooftop garden in the residential district, the edges of the roof lined with chain-link fences to make sure no one fell by accident. Potted plants lined the fence with vines slowly growing up the structure letting the roof feel more alive with nature while the centre of the roof had been cleared out for a training space, the surface marked with chalk drawings of footsteps as if it was a guideline for certain steps.

The air was filled with the sound of a light hearted tune as Tsunade hummed to herself while carefully stepping between each chalk footprint, each step accompanied by an arm movement that made it almost seem like a gentle dance but many ninja would recognise this as the Hyuuga clans infamous gentle fist fighting style. Tsunade herself was clad was currently clad in a pair of of training shorts with a tank top, her feet bare and her arms bound in bandages despite the cold while her face was her usual happy smile, the girl seemingly enjoying her exercise despite the trails of sweat that dribbled down her form making the girl seem to almost steam in the cold air.

[Yume Izanami]

Izanami didn't have much to do today so she thought, why not? She planted her feet on her gun glaive and focused chakra onto her feet and into the weapon, animating it. It seemed alive and moving on its own, but rather she is controlling it as she willed it to carry her high up above the other buildings and whatnot. She was in her usual attire with a pink hoodie over it to keep warm. As for her mechanical limbs, Izanami learned that the artificial chakra that runs in them keeps them at a comfortable temperature at all times.

She floated on her weapon as she caught sight of a familiar face. Floating nearby, she would say, "Heya." Before releasing the chakra from her feet and jumping off of her weapon and onto the ground next to Tsunade catching her gun glaive in her left hand. The genin herself had been hard at work getting stronger, mastering more ninjutsus and finally getting a grasp of using them. But that doesn't mean that she is more of a taijutsu type of girl. She loves her weapons.

The Genin has known Tsunade only for a short while, but the other girl has quickly grown attached to her, she thinks. They had first met at a class where Tsunade almost threw up on her, no, she doesn't want to really think much on that moment. And another time where she had been kinda forced to dance. On the plus side, it did help her get used to using her mechanical limbs.

 

[Tsunade]

Tsunade for lack of a better term squeaked in surprise as she was called out to in a place that she thought was isolated but not for one ninja it seems who had figured out to fly with their new limbs. However Tsunade's surprise soon turned to delight as she spun around only to see Izanami touching down on the roof her glaive held in one hand. Izanami would be treated to one of Tsunade's squeals of delight before she would find her arms suddenly full of Tsunade as the other girl threw her arms around Izanami's shoulders pulling her into a tight hug while she rubbed her cheek against Izanami's face like an overly affectionate cat.

"Nami-chan it's good to see you again. Have you come to train! Oh or did you wanna join me for dance practice!"

Tsunade seemed over excited to see one of the people she had one sidedly claimed to be her best friend before she released the taller girl and began tugging on her metal limb seemingly wanting Izanami to join her morning excercise.

Despite Izanami being first a soldier, second, a ninja, she was still surprised when the younger girl practically jumped into her arms and started smothering her like a cat vying for affection. Once the girl got some room to breath, she listened to what Tsunade was saying.

"Just coming up to say hi. Or what kind of training do you got in mind?" She would wait for the other girl to respond. The last time that she remembered, Tsunade was more on the side of being a pacifist and only fight as a last resort, something that Izanami had said that can't be possible in their line of work. Despite their differences, the girl seemed to be focused on being Izanami's friend and even willing to train with her.

"I usually train with my weapons, since, they are all I know to basically be a master of. And I'm guessing that you are also something of the taijutsu user yourself." She recalled when they had first met, how Tsunade called herself a taijutsu user and.... Well didn't the girl trail off without saying what comes after the and part? Izanami let the thought slide to the back of her mind. Everyone has their secrets, this is something that the Genin knows well about. Her own secrets could very well make her a target with the whole Cloud staring at her if her secret gets put out for everyone to know. "So what would you like to do? A mock spar? Or just practice different techniques. Or just talk?"

Tsunade seemed to almost vibrate with excitement as Izanami asked what kind of training the shorter girl had in mind even going as far to ask how did Tsunade prefer to fight which was a question only a few people asked of the girl.

"Yup I may not look like my other cousins due to my Mom's looks but my full name is actually Hyuuga Tsunade and I specialise in my families martial arts see...." As Tsunade spoke she gave a few painful punches into the air before stepping close to who metallic limb friend so the girl could easily see the shorter girls pupilless clear blue eyes. Those same eyes took on a strange strained look as the blood vessels around Tsunade's eyes bulged and a faint outline appeared within the eye as she activated her Byakugan.

"See my eyes are super special! I can see all around and inside people's body......Oh and....." Tsunade's excited chatter finally ebbed off as the girl finally and completely focused on Izanami letting her see Izanami's chakra network. Stunted strings of pathways slowly twined around the remnants of the girls arms while powerful coils allowed Izanami to output enough chakra to control her abilities however that wasn't what had caused Tsunade to trail of as she glanced at the metal limbs. Past the walls of metal and weapons hidden within was deep beautiful pools of nebulous chakra that maintained a tight control despite the damage chakra pathways they were connected to and for reasons that Tsunade could not articulate herself she felt moved by the gentle flow of life energy that existed outside the girls body but still remained apart of her.

Snapping back to herself Tsunade darted back to her step outlines and motioned to them. "My fighting style focuses on damaging the inside of things and the chakra within so I don't really wanna spar cause I don't wanna break your arms by accident buuuuuuutttttt." Tsunade elongated the but with a small pop of her lips at the end. "Why don't you try the stances of the gentle fist with me? and after we can do some pose training." As Tsunade spoke the last part she made a few sweeping motions with her arms before ending in a low crouch her her fingers pointed down to the floor in a pose that looked like out a Saturday morning cartoon.

Upon seeing the girl's eyes turn into a different color and her explaining about her heritage and the powers that come with it, Izanami could only guess that this is only a small portion of power that the girl possess. In due time, she'll probably be even stronger than her. Right now, Izanami is only stronger than Tsunade because she had started her training earlier than her. "Other people must be envious of you. Someone naturally born into a powerful heritage to control a power like that." Izanami herself didn't sound envious though, her voice sounded more like she was pointing out facts. "For me though... I'm not from any big or powerful family or heritage. I was simply just a blacksmith's daughter. If it wasn't for my craftiness with weapons, I would be mediocre at fighting at best." Again, she spoke in a matter of fact kind of way. Her metallic limbs are a testament of her own failures.

With these new limbs, they have given Izanami faster movement, to be on par, maybe sometimes even better than that of a seasoned ninja. Izanami couldn't help but frown a little bit on Tsunade's answer, "The Raikage herself made this arm and legs specifically for strenuous and grueling fights. It has helped me unlock power to move faster than ever before. I'm sure it can take some chakra attacks." Despite her secret distaste for ninja, the Raikage had saved her, and even given her a second chance at life with these limbs. "But if you're adamant about it, then we can just play it safe and you can teach me some things about your gentle fist stance."
