Recently in Kumogakure a system had been set up for shinobi of all ranks. Even once a shinobi had left the academy, they were always learning. Though perhaps not of the Academy Student rank, a good shinobi would always be a student of Ninjutsu. So, the village had set up a system for its shinobi to learn from one another. Rank was not important. Jounin could be tutored just as much as Students could. Students could be tutored in addition to their classes. One did not have to be an Academy teacher to participate as a mentor. In order to encourage the growth of the program, even Ayumu had volunteered some of his time to mentor now and then. This was one such time. It had been a while since he had done any teaching- not since he had been ANBU Sennin really. Years had passed and he had been the Main Branch Sennin for a while, and now here he was as the Raikage of the village. To get back into the swing of things he put out an offer for tutoring for Students or Genin. As it turned out he had received an assignment of one each.
Instructions had been sent out to the two pupils to meet Ayumu here in the Obstacle Courses of the Aurora Erudito. He wasn't too keen on teaching anybody in a classroom if he didn't have to. He preferred to do something a bit more casual and interesting than listening to a lecture in a stuffy room. Upon reaching the obstacle course grounds he chose one of the open fields that were frequently used for safe testing of NInjutsu. It was a wonder that any grass remained on the ground in the field. There were empty patches, areas where the grass had been cut by Wind Jutsu, scorch marks where it had been burned by Fire jutsu, and signs of a number of other maladies the poor field had endured. Here students could let loose and not worry about property damage. It was a good place to have an outdoor tutoring session, Ayumu thought. He hadn't fully decided what he would do yet, he'd have to meet the pupils first, so he sat in the middle of the field twirling his thumbs as he waited for them to arrive.
