Name: Uchiha Arata
Age: 12
Gender: Male
General Description: Standing just under five feet tall, Arata is beginning to grow into himself, small arms and legs starting to show muscle due to his constant training. Down his back are three long parallel scars where a wild dog attacked him at the age of eight. Another scar, thin and almost unseen runs down his left arm, an accident from his childhood. Arata's hair is his pride and joy, ebony curls he often keeps in a bun that when untied reach his shoulders. His eyes are a steely grey. Alias has the air of an intellectual with the mouth of a child. His knowledge vastly outdoes many his age but because of having only Oris to talk to for much of his teenage years, he has yet to develop the social skills to speak properly to other people Rarely did he speak to his fellow academy students, only answering the teacher when necessary. This leads to him being either unnecessarily blunt or unable to read a mood. However, this is not on purpose. Arata is kind to a point and I want to emphasize just how deep or shallow that point is. In normal people terms, he is nicer than average but after that is under a savage, abrasive rudeness. Likely a byproduct of his pent-up rage against his former family.
History: Born to the Uchiha, Arata grew up in a small hut with a man simply known as Oris. His adoptive father was kind and taught him all he ever needed to know to survive and even taught him in addition to the academy. The two were about as close as a real father and son could be. Over the years, Arata never thought to ask of his birth parents and Oris never brought it up. Only now, as the young Uchiha comes into his own, on his own, does he begin to wonder about his past. However, regardless of what he may find. Oris will always be his one and only father.
Bloodline: Arata lived apart from his Uchiha brethren with Oris. His adoptive parent was an outcast. For the first seven years of his life, the young boy lived happily with Oris in a small cottage in the forest. He taught him basic ninja and survival skills. Most importantly, he taught the young Uchiha the way of the blade. Arata was a natural, surprising Oris. One night, behind the cottage, Arata was practicing his sword techniques as his father made dinner. A moment later, he heard the shout of the older man. Sounds of struggle and multiple men followed. Immediately, with the blade in hand, he ran around to the side of the cottage, peeking around the corner just as a group of Uchiha dragged Oris from inside, kicking and screaming. Alias watched as his caretaker was beaten into the dirt. The young boy flinched as the sound of bats and fists beating into flesh filled his ears. The assailants questioned as they struck, demanding to know where Arata was. Oris said nothing. He gave nothing. Dragging him to his knees, the attackers spat that he was scum and a disgrace to their clan. Then, with one stroke, they slit Oris' throat. The young boy's heart stopped. His world turned on its head and his vision blurred. He spun around and ran into the forest, stumbling through the underbrush, his eyes changing as emotions raged in his small body. Anger, hate, fear, sadness but worst of all, a deep sense of loss. Now, he lives in the village on his own, training to become a great ninja his adoptive father would be proud of. After passing his exams with flying colors, Arata is now a genin, young and fresh out of the academy. With one step down and many, many more to go, he now looks forward to the future.
Arata now searches tirelessly for the reason behind his father's death and who he really was. The sword given to him by Oris is the only thing he has to remember him by.
