Physical Description:
In terms of appearance, Daisuke prefers to keep his steely blue-black hair short and manageable, not letting it get too long or out of control. In terms of features the Uchiha is fairly non-descript, not drop-dead gorgeous but not the elephant man either. Daisuke has three main defining features; his bronze eyes which burn with intelligence and a barely restrained fiery will, many small scars across his face and body from various injuries he has collected throughout his life, and deep frown lines on his forehead as a result of his normal expression. In terms of clothing, Daisuke prefers to remain functional rather than fashionable, wearing plain black trousers with non-descript boots. On top he wears a black t-shirt which has the Uchiha logo emblazoned on his left breast and to top this all off, he wears a white Doctor's coat over the top of the outfit to complete the ensemble.
Personality:
Daisuke is a quiet but stern individual, very much keeping to himself almost all of the time and enjoying his own company more often than not. This behaviour stems back to his childhood when he was the victim of bullying from his oldest brother and so he began to act quietly and try to blend in without drawing too much attention to himself so as to avoid trouble. If one were to scratch beneath the surface however, they would find a kind and caring person who can be surprisingly vocal and warm with the right people, although more often than not he will try to hide this from others. It takes a determined individual to put the effort in to befriend Daisuke, but if someone does then he would go to the ends of the World for them.
Character History:
Daisuke was the fourth of six children with two older brothers, an older sister and younger twins, one a boy and one a girl. As one of the middle children, Daisuke found that he fell someone down the virtual pecking order and felt as though he were sometimes ignored by his parents and his siblings. This suited the young boy fine and was definitely better than being the victim of bullying at the hands of the two oldest boys in the family, something that he put up with rather than raise a fuss about, hoping that they would desist when he refused to rise to their bait. However, the boys continued to victimise Daisuke for years, berating him and mocking him for his apparent inability to use the Uchiha bloodline like his older brothers and sister had done at a relatively young age.
It was just after his twelfth birthday that Daisuke's younger sister managed to activate her sharingan and what had been something he had ignored as mindless idiocy from his older brothers before began to look like a definite possibility. What if he couldn't use a sharingan or the Uchiha powers? Daisuke couldn't remember the last time a member of his family had failed to eventually become a fully-fledged Uchiha ninja and he began to get worried about his future. His older brothers seemed to redouble their efforts, mercilessly preying on the young boy and even going so far as to physically assault him, something they had always refrained from before. Nevertheless, Daisuke would not allow his fears to keep him back and so he signed up for the Konoha Academy and progressed quickly thanks to his diligence and quiet manner, acting mature for his age and concentrating fully on his studies. These were the best days of his life in many ways, as he could concentrate fully on his studies and avoid the bullying he was subjected to while at home by staying at the Academy and furthering his learning, branching out from his normal syllabus to learn about more varied things. He found that medicine and healing were particularly interesting to the young boy and so when it came time to graduate he knew exactly where his next step would be; Konoha Hospital.
Enrolling at the Hospital had been easy, telling his parents had not. He was the first person in three generations not to go into the Konoha military proper and his parents threatened him with all manner of different things, but Daisuke refused to back down. Given this argument and his continued inability to unlock a sharingan, Daisuke was politely informed that he would need to find another place to live until he changed his mind and followed the family traditions. The young boy was preparing to move his things out when his two older brothers came to harass him once more, this time feeling justified in their actions thanks to the disagreement that Daisuke had had with his parents. This time however, instead of simply taking the abuse without rising up to it, the young boy snapped and attacked his brothers back when they started to attack him, and the commotion caused the rest of the family to rush upstairs to see what had happened. When they arrived at Daisuke's room, they found him stood above the prone bodies of his two unconscious tormenters, the twin pinwheels that characterised the Uchiha bloodline spinning in his eyes. His bloodline awakened, the family also found out about the abuse that Daisuke had suffered at his brothers hands and he was allowed to stay at home, his family situation restored and free of the torment his brothers had thrust upon him for so many years.
Daisuke rose steadily through the medical ranks, his natural determination coupled with his awakening bloodline abilities allowing him to see things others missed and by his 28th birthday he was one of the foremost EMT ninja that the hospital employed. It was while he was working as an EMT that he came into possession of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingans, having found a book on the subject in his dead grandfather's house while helping the family to pack the deceased man's stuff up. He researched the eyes and eventually took one of his older brother's eyes when the man died on a mission, with Daisuke performing the eye transplant on himself while on leave from the hospital. It was to study his new eyes and their limits and powers that the medic took an extended sabbatical from the hospital, citing a need to find himself as the reason for his protracted absence and it was for this reason that he was not present for the abandonment of Konoha by the Village's shinobi forces. Seeing that he had nowhere to return to, the young medic travelled the world and made his way by helping out the regular folk that he came across before he realised that simply being in a holding pattern wasn't enough. He had to do something meaningful once more, and it was for this reason that he found himself at the gates to the Cloud village, ready for the next phase of his life to begin.
The Uchiha's experience at working as a medical nin was enough to gain him a spot within Kumogakure's military structure as a medic, and it was in this facility that Daisuke began to work, finding himself overjoyed to be back doing something that he found meaningful. He more or less kept to himself, instead opting to focus on proving himself to his new village and make sure that any lingering doubts that anyone may have about a former Konoha shinobi working in Cloud were proven to be wrong. Several months and many medical shifts later and Daisuke finally felt like he'd found a new home, something he hadn't realised he had missed for so long.
Daisuke spent several months working in Kumo before interesting whispers reached him about his home: apparently there were shinobi returning to Konoha from their self-imposed exiles. At first the doctor had scoffed at the idea and kept his head down, carrying on his work with the same quiet vigilance and assured skill that he always had, but he could not shake the feeling that he was not fulfilling his true calling by staying away from his home. He wrestled with the decision, but ultimately decided that his best option was to go home, and to help the village return to it's former glory however he could. Tendering his resignation at Kumo's hospital, the man set off on a trek to return to Konoha, and to do what he could to help the village heal and grow once more.
