Name: Uchiha Genki
Age: 13
Physical Description: Genki has long brown hair cut short on top with a long ponytail on the back. He also has two locks of his hair wrapped in bandages framed either side of his face and dark eyes. He also has blue markings around his eyes, which turn up at the corners. He wears a high collared, light-colored kimono held closed by a dark sash. The collar of the kimono is adorned with magatama. He wears a black full-bodied suit underneath. He has pale skin and a pretty athletic body type. Standing at 165 centimeters tall, he is the average height for a boy his age.
Mental Description: At first glance, Genki seems like your typical angsty Uchiha with family issues. And while he does indeed have family issues, this does not prevent him from being a kind and friendly person. In fact, those who know him since he was young would say that it serves as the cause of his kind and friendly nature. Traumatized is a great word to describe Genki, though whether or not this trauma serves as a bad influence in his life or a positive one, is up for debate. He has definitely grown up in an interesting way and has a unique point of view on life and its cruel machinations.
History and Bloodline Application: Genki, for the most part, had a normal childhood. He is the oldest of 3 siblings. His younger brother was, for the most part, disabled and his even younger sister was arguably the person he cared about the most. His family wasn't very prominent in the Uchiha Clan, as his mother and father were not ninjas as they never really had the interest to become ninjas. Though his parents did not have the interest, Genki and his sister, Airi, could think if nothing else. They both lived happily, however, which served to hinder their chances, rather than improve them. An Uchiha's power was often augmented with loss and tragedy, something Genki had never really experienced. He always tried his best to train and learn as much as he could, but he wasn't very gifted. Airi, on the other hand, was very gifted and was able to pick up more complex jutsu than the young Uchiha. This never made Genki bitter, as he was never trying to compete with his younger sister and his love for her overshadowed any animosity he might have had toward her due to her much more rapid growth than his own. Airi was a great person who had a grandiose vision for the world she lived in and she truly believed that the best way to make her dreams for the world come true was to become a shinobi. Genki admired his sister's ideology and he truly believed that she would one day accomplish her goals. Genki was a very reserved boy, some would even describe him as shy. Airi, on the other hand, was a cheery person and very outgoing too. She liked helping others and always tried to make positive contributions to those around her.
One day, Genki came home to an empty house. His parents were not there and he did not know where Airi was. Walking into the living room, what he saw would shape the rest of his life in every way, shape, and form. Airi lied on the floor, in a pool of her own blood and lifeless. Hours later, the young Uchiha's parents would arrive and find their oldest son holding their only daughter in his arms, and his eyes reflecting the loss he just experienced with a red glow and a single tomoe.
Over the next coming days, Genki would not speak much. Something snapped within Genki. He changed. And whether or not the change was a positive one, was not inherently clear. He continued to train his abilities as he did before, but it was different now. He was considerably stronger and his growth was a lot speedier than before. His personality also shifted. He took on a personality more similar to Airi's, becoming more cheery an outgoing. It was easy to say that Genki's newfound growth and aptitude was because of his newly awakened Sharingan, but those close to him knew better. Airi's death was definitely the source of everything that was different about Genki, including his Sharingan. Getting into the academy was very easy for him, he had a new vision for the world he lived in; a grandiose vision.
(OOC: Sorry if this all seems rushed and unpolished. I had written a much better and more polished version and it got lost because the website asked me to log in again, forcing me to have to rewrite everything.)
